I find Nako's character quite believable, my sister shows a different face when out at work and when at home. And to all those saying these are filler episodes... Stop complaining. None of these are filler episodes, and I highly doubt Iroha is going to do the cheap romance route to create some unneeded drama. The screenplay writer is way too smart to utilize such cheap cliches. I think you missed the point of nznznz's complaint. You know how lot's of kids' shows follow a "monster of the week" format? They are always simplistic because there's only so much you can do in an episode. That's sort of what this show is doing, except instead of "monster of the week", it's "drama of the week". They always just sort of ignore a character and all of a sudden, it's like "I choose you! Now we will suddenly develop your character for one episode and then go back to ignoring you!" The show's not always like this, but when it is it feels kind of patronizing. Not to mention the drama feels mechanical and forced. It's still well-done, but the format leaves a bit to be desired IMO |

| Not a fan of Nako (definitely not my type; way too timid) and not a big fan of fanservice either (the plot is more important, imo). But at least Nako 'evolved' as a character in some way. Also... how can her mom still look like a woman in her twenties after giving birth to who-knows-how-many kids (didn't count, but it was at least four!) ? Tsch, anime is just deceiving like that. |

| 5/5 Nakochi, compared to Ohana and Minchi, so it will not be winning, but he knows to be an adorable character and today too nice especially when it's that face at the end of the episode, priceless! Cute designs, Ohana fun today! |

| I'm shipping Nakochi and me. That's all there is to it. It was hilarious that Yuina was the only one who had a clue when they were being hit on. That was one lame pickup too. I would have expected pretty Maki to have some experience in that field too. |

Usually it doesnt take much more than a simple revelation or push to consider changing for the better, especially when she hasnt really thought it through that being shy and nervous on the outside can be considered "her real self". |

I've been bitching about this show since episode 3, but it does have its moments occasionally. So yeah, I actually enjoyed this episode. It was fun to look at, and Nako's narration was warm and relaxing. There were also a few laugh-out-loud moments, which is something I haven't encountered in the second half of the show yet. I also liked the mermaid scenes, and Ohana was almost kind of fun again, too. I wish every episode so far had been as much fun as this. - Clicking image opens album. |

| I rather enjoyed this episode. Though I was slightly disappointed by it considering Nako's my favorite. I liked what it was doing with the contrast between her family and work life. And I liked her makeover. I especially like that it didn't try to make her change completely since she had a new outfit. But the pay raise part of this episode, felt a little awkward to me. It just seemed out of character for the okami-san. And Nako misunderstanding the intention was more annoying than anything. I think Nako is a hard character to build an episode around. So much of her personality is just being exceptionally shy and getting flustered easily. But this episode does wring something interesting out of her desire for change. Which has been well established throughout the series. I think Nako has changed and shown some growth as a character. I also think her mermaid look in this episode was really cute. |

| Great episode. The scenes of Nako as a mermaid were a nice way of showing her own little world. Have to agree with some previous posts about how Nako's responsibilities suddenly appeared out of nowhere, as far as I can remember she barely touches upon how hectic her life at home is. I'm glad Nako has accepted that her life at home and life at the inn are both part of her. |

| My girl Nakochi showing that she needs no prince to be happy. I'm glad Nako received a whole episode for herself but I was expecting something more, being honest. Her realization at the end being the result of a misunderstanding felt a bit disappointing and not to mention that I think it would have been better if this focus on her would have happened sooner in the series because honestly, I had already forgotten Nako started working at the Inn because she wanted to overcome her social anxiety. That said, it was just an OK episode. It could have been handled in a better way but well, at least we could see that other side of Nako's persona, the "big sister/mother" side which one was really heartwarming to see. She might not be the most influential character in the show but she's the girl I like the most in the cast without a doubt. |

BRUH HE DIED LMAO 🤣 jk wonder if she would be good friends with Haru from Free! lol I guess that represents how she ran (or swam lol) away from her fear of socializing with strangers at first, but thinking back on the incident and realizing she can do well if she tries caused her to make a stronger resolve to face it. Land/Prince = the unknown/fear of socializing with strangers Ocean = the well-known/her home with her family she is close with Well, glad for Nako that she's gradually overcoming her anxiety. 🙂 I think her conflict is that she's always afraid of saying something wrong and offending or troubling someone as a result. Consequently, when someone talks to her, she gets so nervous that she ends up blanking out. If she was able to tell that elderly couple what she wanted to say before about the flowers somehow, she is definitely growing. And I am happy that she realized she does not have to be outgoing and peppy like Ohana to be a likable, deserving person. I think that's why she kept saying "in a good way" to Ohana; she looks up to Ohana's straightforwardness and outspokenness. I was pretty surprised that she was excited to be in a movie in that one episode, though. So I guess it's just talking to people that gives her the nerves. Much respect for her, facing her fears like that. 😊 Strangers and the unknown are certainly scary... What a role model! Go Nako! |

| This episode focuses on Nako gladly taking her spotlight this time, She's quite the busy girl taking care of her siblings even in the house Those clothes really suit them I like them both honestly and Nako sure seems to glow a bit more with that outfit adding more accessories makes it even more attractive lmao Yuina being a badass and straight up told the guys to die that got me what a savage, Nako being a mermaid amusing to see, She has her own way of doing her job and that makes her unique in her own way, Poor prince though got left in the bottom of the ocean. |
