| I hate his wife even more now, granted he shouldn't have left his records where the kid could get them, but if she loved him at all she'd know how important his records were to him and would have taken it away from the kid. she obviously doesn't give a damn about anything that's important to him though, so I honestly don't know why he hasn't already left :/ |
| In Ouji position I would be very tempted by Yuki and his wife seems to be asking for trouble. Kids and family, low cash and a small house, nobody to help, yeah, it's hard, but you should know better Yoshiko-san. |

| So far this show pretty pissed me off. Literally everyone's acting like dicks (including Ouji's wife and son and Ouji himself). Dunno if I could handle this till the end. |

| The wife came on strongly about what-ifs but that's the distilled essence of her role in the story right now; normal life where you have to plan and prepare as opposed to Oji's floaty dream with his guitar. I loved the shot just before this where he seems to be bathed in a spotlight when it's just the light on the stairs outside his apartment. The first episode was his "dream" relieving him of a dreary existence, but in this episode there's a bit of tension between his dream and his family. More than the obvious of him having to separate from his family to play guitar again, the awkward way he related to his son shows how clumsy he is in the role of a father. | Loved to see Ouji in rather good spirits after his "guitar sessions". Literally fuel for life. And we got a glimpse at a normal family life. There's still some way before before mutual understanding can be reached. Had to lol at the part where Ouji wasn't fond of the homey atmosphere. If he's so resistant to the idea then why did he marry in the first place? I could think of some reasons, but I hope we're going to get at least a brief backstory. |
