I'll definitely have to read the manga after the anime ends. I need to know what happens after that, it's already hard enough waiting a week every time |

I don't really wanted to watch/read it all again, but it does add a lot to understand "how broke" the mother was. Can you tell me about this unadapted part in spoiler tags? She was the typical normal air-headed anime girl, innocent, kind, not very smart, spacey and would respond anything with a vague smile. Atending the school the dad chose and wearing the clothes the mother picked, she never actualy really choosed anything for herself and was always following the same path but she was happy. One day when comming back from school and distracted singing she bumped a little into a guy. An typical deliquent. The guy instanly started to scream with her and told her to apologize, very confused and scared she could not even speak, the guy slapped her while continued to told her to apologize. Her mind went blank, given the situation and the reaction of the guy she probably thought she did someting really bad. Afraid, confused and crying she started to apologize and said she would do anything while the guy was forcing holding her. The guy understood the situation and with a smirk smile said "so come with me for a bit" and raped her. She still didn't knowing what was happening. When she could no longer wear the school clothes because of the size of the belly the her parents found out and confronted the delinquent parent. At first to take some satisfactions but the delinquent father convinced them to let his son take responsability after some threats to their careers if they take it to the court. Ignoring Yuuna feelings they agreed. Being a good a "good girl" Yuuna could only stay quiet and scared accept. The parents abandoned her to live with them and at first everything was fine because he was not even there. As told (by her parents) she only had to focus at being a good mother. She was alone for a few years until the parents, guiltly, invited her to comeback home. Before she could even have the chance to be happy again both parents (her and his) died at some accident. The delinquent toke all the insuranc, heritage and started to beating her, the kid, and raping her again. Without any money she had to give birth in a bathtub alone with just a scissor and towels. She was still trying to be a good mother. He left for a while but came back after using all the money, the abuses started again. After all, the meaning of this, I think, was that abandoning Shio was probably the first act she did and choose by herself. And I can't stop thinking that this all could be avoided if she was walking just 5 centimeters to the left. Man that's really fucked up. Normally, I'd say it's the mother's fault for not being able to decide for herself and stand up on her own in the first place but I'm sure there are people who are like that so I won't go being narrow-minded. It would be really nice if we see that adapted to see how normal life gets 180 degrees but maybe the studio understands that it's impossible to fit that on a 12-episode anime. In fact, I kinda get a feeling that they're cutting some parts. For instance, for not adapting a scene where Shouko confronted Satou's mother first to know where Satou actually lives. |

This episode was less eventful than the last. I wonder what was going on in Satou's head as she was face down on the floor. I would like to think that she was a bit distraught for killing Shouko. That despite claiming otherwise, Shouko's wasn't completely insignificant in her life (merely insignificant next to Shio) and her final words did reach her a tiny bit, enough to to lead to a short internal struggle.. before being snuffed out in the end. But this being a yandere character well, I guess that she is just concerned with having to abandon the castle. For letting "something dirty" enter their castle. As for people who noted a change in Shio in this episode, I agree. The girl who didn't know what "friends" were volunteers to be "partner in crime"? But then from the beginning I thought that Shio might have been the real instigator of everything. Like the One Ring. Or maybe a child subconsciously possessed by the devil or somewhat cursed. After all, she is in the middle of all the mess that is happening and people around her seem to be breaking one after another. While I agree with those who believe that this anime isn't "realistic" I think that much is obvious very early on. I would have been dissapointed too, if I was lead to believe that this anime was meant to be realistic portrayal of love/relationship/madness, but from the get go, I figured that it was just going to be a train wreck because there was every indication to me with nearly every character having serious screw loose. FWIW, I generally hate full on yandere characters, and yes I do think that Satou deserves to get her head bashed in with a baseball bat (don't think it will happen though, certainly if the manga is still ongoing then she is going to live for much longer, and it isn't unusual for Yandere MC to survive either). But I do like how they unravel what goes on in her twisted head. I guess that I find her character "interesting" (which is a lot more than I can say about, say Yuno). Oh and the fact that Shio may "love" Satou (Stockholm syndrome?) obviously doesn't justify anything. |

Somewhat expected, though still good turn of events. I thought Shio will eventually confront Satou about her being roundabout about things all the time. In a way I kinda want them to succeed in running away, since Shio was clearly abandoned by her mother, and Satou did save her. Even though she did treat Shio in a similar restricting manner as her mother did, that is seemingly going to change now. However I feel that they are going to get a bad ending and Satou will either end up in prison or murdered by Asahi. The way he was walking with that bat while saying he is going to explain Shio everything about their mother was a bit creepy however. I kinda thought "You are going to explain to her with that bat, eh?", though I know he is probably going to use that on Satou instead. Maybe he broke too by now. Only thing that does not make me want Satou to succeed is the fact that she did murder several people for her romance, and that is certainly deplorable. Even if painter himself was morally questionable, I don't think he deserved it. And Shouko was just innocent in the whole matter. On top of that, Shio does appears to have forgotten about Asahi, so it's questionable at this point if she would still choose Satou over him if she did remember. They did clearly had a good relationship, and Asahi seems to genuinely care for her. In fact it seems he would break too if he never finds her, especially with Shouko no longer alive to help him. Theoretically best way would be to somehow figure out how to make both Satou and Asahi happy with Shio, but after last episode events that ending is pretty much impossible. Therefore I guess whoever wins the duel that's probably going to happen next episode will win Shio. Good old ways I guess, people dueling for their love. |

I think Shio gon die, maybe even by Satou's hands in an attempt to preserve/protect her happy sugar life. In any case, when they go outside things are going to go down with Asahi. |

He did deserve to be punished for it, as I said his morals were certainly rotten if he could do that. None the less, I don't think murder is the way to do it. Satou however killed 2 people quite cold-heartedly. Painter was killed while strangling Shio though, so if that was the only murder, I would be willing to say she might be forgiven. However with Shouko she had time and option to decide, and she chose to kill her. As such I consider her worse. She does not necessarily deserve to die either, but she does certainly deserve harsh punishment, and if that is death, it will be one she will bring upon herself by her own actions. |

I will only be satisfied if she receives justice. |

Shio was really puzzling this episode, throwing temper tantrums, speaking some philosphical thoughts, acting like a kid, again acting like an adult. That was way too dramatic. On the other hand Satou`s reaction to the past episode`s ending is pretty great. She got wrecked really hard by the heaviness of killing her "friend". All in all, I am definitely waiting for a "grande finale". shiro_kai said: They just cut out one of the biggest misfortune/tragic backstories of all time (not really) to save one miserable episode. this was a really good ep really cute but after looking at the comments and finding out about the back story they cut out wow i couldnt help but go and read it and wow did they cut something huge.. though it does happen when it comes to some series becoming a anime but still but even so in the end after reading it i cant really feel sorry for the mom as she did it to herself... sure its pretty messed up but still (im sure some of you will understand when you read it..) all i gotta say is anyone watching this should all go and read the backstory asap cause wow its a must to know just why things turned out the way it did with that said waiting for the next 2 eps is gonna suck cause i wanna know what happens next won't look at the manga fully till the anime ends but that back story i had to as its really a lot and shouldn't have been skipped but then the anime would have had to been longer than 12 eps also seems like this just might have an anime original end from the looks of the manga is still on going but we'll see |

I hope this doesn't get adapted cause I'll get even more sad (and because I legit spoiled myself if this does get adapted). It seems like one of the few who actually understand this is SoraSenpai. Yeah this anime gets ridiculous. but it's not too farfetched at times such as Shio loving Satou. I mean why wouldn't she? Satou at this point has shown more love towards Shio than her mother who abandoned her. (Which has something to do with her backstory). We're in the end game now and I hope most strings get wrapped up. It really does look like it'll end with the apartment complex in flames and the building jump. Episode review though, this was expected after the highly suspenseful and eventful last episode, it needed to cool down again before throwing us into that big finale. |

How could I possibly love this any more than I already do? After watching sooo many forgettable SoL moe anime finally this stands out. Wtf is this score though? Every generic seasonal gets 7,5-8 easily and something extraordinary like this has barely a 7? Lmao MAL, never change So Satou never actually kidnapped her and Shio was afraid of going outside before they met as well. Satou did really nothing wrong here, well, aside from maybe last ep |

...ok, wow. i had stopped watching this series for a good while (got busy with other things). This episode was my first episode back, and it honestly made me feel a torrent of emotions. I was sad, creeped out, angry, shocked, sometimes all at the same time. damn if this series isn't effective. I honestly can't feel anything but pity for Shio. poor girl was mentally tortured for years. of course she will ignore the horrible crimes satou did, as she was literally the only "adult" who ever took mercy on her. Satou fully deserves to die and i hope she does, but i also hope that by then Shio would be with her brother and not learn about it. Poor girl doesn't deserve any more sadness. I didn't get why her mother did a 180 and left her though, but it was alluded in the post ending scene that that will be explained, so we will see. |

Lmao MAL, never change exactly my thoughts. when i looked at this anime's rating i was like "WTF?!". any generic harem anime gets over 7 yet this one isn't even a 7. guess this anime's storytelling flew over the heads of tons of people (like the ones complaining about how shio should have hated satou for that confession when satou was literally the only person who ever loved her, or the ones complaining about her "i hate you" who clearly have no clue that children act like that literally all the time with their temper tantrums (and we don't know how long that door stayed closed, so there is no reason to think it was "just a few seconds" like some claim here). it is unfortunate that the anime's rating got reduced because of its scenes going over the heads of those people though. Just fully finished the series and i agree with you. Other than a small plothole in the final episode, this anime was truly captivating and told the story damn well. It is unfortunate how underrated (literally) it is. |

Damn. I might've started taking the show seriously if they'd shown that. Or I might have dropped it because it was really hard to watch. As it is, the characters are so off the rails that I can't root for any of them and they act so freaking unrealistic that it's funny. There can't be a good ending to this story. |

This makes me lower the score to a 6. It feels dumb. You're trying to make me feel bad about Satou and then be happy at the end, after Shouko getting killed. Also Satou telling Shio "I killed a person, it's currently in our house, A DEAD HUMAN, I stole, I did all sorts of bad things and Shio is just "yes", "yes", "yes". She's not even 10 years old,(judging by what Asahi said, probably 8 and you're telling her those things like she'll understand them. Also Shio 5 years ago was doing all those things when a 3-5 years old baby cant do shit. Doesnt make that much sense tbh. Same with Shio just straight up yelling something random on the balcony. And also, this was weird cause like, 4 or 5 episodes ago, Shio told Satou that "I dont need my mom, you are better than her" and these 4/5 episode did nothing cause Shio said the same thing at the end "You are not my mother, I love you" or smth like that. The last frame was amazing tho, with Asahi at the end, that makes not drop the score to 6 but Idk. This comment feels rushed but I gotta watch the last 2 episodes before going to bed. |

Fuck this writing... Just 2 more F'ing episodes left. What's wrong with Shio's stupid mom? Why didn't she leave her abusive husband?! Why leave Shio in the F'ing street?! What kind of imbeciles inhabit this world?! Was Shoukou the only normal human?!!! I haven't seen such abominable humans since "Hell girl"! I thought Satou and Shio relationship would go downhill from now on, but Shio suddenly decides to be her sidekick and even closes eyes on murder. Fucking hell mate! |

Satou really looks like she has nothing left to live after killing Shouko like It's nothing Finally, past scenes on what really happened to Shio and her mom and her mom was also losing her mind Satou's world just crumbled from hearing Shio hates her and that makes me conscious about what's gonna happen if she breaks Asahi is going to need a lot of power and effort to take Shio back considering how dangerous this crazy yandere is better to watch out. |

it was obvious from the first episode, but Satou is way too dependant on that child. Also now I guess we know why Shio only has bad memories of her mum whilst her brother seemed to have good ones. Also it just felt very rushed honestly |

Did anyone else get jumpscared when the brother suddenly spoke towards the end jesus christ ;_; I'm surprised that Satou didn't kill the mother. I guess it makes sense the way she found her but then why did Shio have amnesia? Was it her repressing things I guess? |

I'm really unsure of what to think about this anime now. Every type of love shown thus far has been incredibly toxic or dishonest, but with the current developments, it seems that Shio and Satou may actually manage to develop a healthy relationship, somehow. Of course, that's only because Shio is insanely mature for her age, but even still, it's just so conflicting |

Wow, the backstory is kinda insane but it's interesting to finally know how Satou met Shio. I wonder where it goes from here |

It's makes 0 sense why matsuzaka is not arrested yet. Shio brother is really that naive? Police station exists, hello?! |
