It was part of Demiurge's plan and Ainz knew about that "intrusion" beforehand.

When I saw the name of the Episode in the preview of last week, I knew that everyone was going to die, I think the one who had the worst luck was the man who fell into the hands of Neouronist,
Kyouhukou appears to get rid of the intruders who fell on its territory
Hamusuke was the one that surprised me, not only his training was successful, he totally humiliated his opponent, the slaves loved him so much that they kicked off his corpse
Foresight is the one who will finally take the main course, Ains will be his opponent and he will wear a different outfit, the winner of this fight is already decided, the question is what will be the fate that awaits each member of Foresight?

Yeah, but if you read the comments some make it sound almost as if we're in the hallowed presence of a transcendent masterpiece. I'm baffled by the score. I understand that there's some sequel bias at work here, but still...

probably next week episode is gonna be my favorite eps
i dont care if he is ains or not either way all of these creature are so damn strong. so im so curious to see what will happen to those four adventurers at the end of the episode. they doesnt look like a bad guy especially the blonde girl.
probably
ains gonna beat their ass and kill them all
beat their ass and all of them are begging for their lives and all of them are gonna be his servant
kill three of them except the blonde girl
kill three of them and revive them again
kill all of them and revive them all again.
or maybe they manage to escape. but nah, i don't think people like them are even possible to escape from a place like that.
so, seiously, im looking forward for what will happen to them. well i kinda know that the blonde hair girl aint gonna die. thats for sure because she has a backstory. but still, going to hear those 4 people scream when ainz shine. kinda makes me excited.

Good episode but I am quite disturb with the sadism and cruelty of Ainz and Nazaricks. Torturing those workers, giving them slow and agonizing death and making this whole thing like a big game while killing them slowly and painfully.

I like Ainz and Nazaricks. But this seems unnecessary cruel and sadistic even for me because I like evil characters but there is line of course. Though considering this is Ainz, this is part of his larger plans to form his own kingdom.Maybe cause I am use too Ainz killing Evil and bastard humans like clemete,Nigun and others not decent humans beings.

I wonder why Ainz really did all of this, just for fun or testing, probably testing but i wonder what kind of tests.

And i wonder if at the end that was really him.

And of course my thoughts were right, that they will invade Nazarick Tomb, they will all die, dont know but i ahve a feeling that the four in the arena will survive, or will die and Ainz will ressurect them, something like that!

Loved when the maids showed up, the leader of that group left the Tomb thinking of letting others die, but they got rekt, nice too see Maids avaliating the fight, Solution always with style!

Im glad that the Samurai died, he always mistreat his elf comrades, he had what he deserves, i felt satified when Hamusuke killed him and his elf comrades laughting!

My heart trumbles when i watch OPs and EDs!
Lets see what will happen in next episode!

There's an explanation for it, but would be spoilers. After this part where they invade Nazarick is over and Ainz makes his move it'll become quite obvious.

Episode 6 reveals why...

Demiurge has created a plan for Nazarick to reveal itself and begin it's world domination. His plan requires that an outside force to cause an incident, which then will give justification for Nazarick's actions.

So then you see Momon grumbling about Demiurge's plan, how he does not like it but also does not want to shame his friend's child by speaking out against it.

Then you hear of Momon meeting with Fluder, and then Fluder taking to the Emperor...about a new found tomb.

Then we hear that the Workers are of a sudden got a job contract to investigate that newly discovered tomb.

And then we have Momon going along with those Workers...waving a big ole death flag over those clueless, scapegoats or pawns...either or works.

I see, so that's actually Ainz. Kind of absurd to me that he would put shackles around his neck when they always emphasize about maintaining the appearance as the overlord supreme being.

Might have missed if someone already answered you.so apologies if I'am repeating.

Those collars you see Ainz,Hamsuke and others wearing are game items. They lower one's stats but boost XP gain.

A minor sub plot the anime has not done much with. That being Ainz is trying to see if he earn gain XP either as a mage or as a warrior,as well as seeing if and how others gain XP in the New World.

The one who planned for all of this is Demiurge.
Ainz, reluctantly approved the plan and is the one who started the ball moving upon his meeting with Fluder.

So Demiurge's plan included the hiring of the Workers to come investigate Nazarick.
Count Femel is just a pasty of the Emperor's and the Workers are scapegoats but all of them are like puppets.Puppets dancing on strings that Demiurge created and cut by Ainz.

Re-watch episode 6 and a bit of episode 2. The anime does explain it all.

You do realize Ainz and Demiurge caused them to be there and are using them as scapegoats.

And the anime left out a ton of character exposition. The Workers, sans one, are not bad guys...Greed for greed's sake is not the reason they took the job.

Except for one guy,the others share a trait with Ainz, they truly care about their friends and fellow teams members.

If not for Ainz...they would never have come to Nazarick.

Doesn't change the fact that they choose to do what they did, which is attack someone else's home. Had Nazarick's inhabitant's were the weaker ones, do you think the workers would have let them live?

Ainz asked them why were they accepting the job last episode to make sure that none of them were forced to do it.

Great Episode, definitely the best yet of Overlord III!

Nazarick’s forced wiping out the infiltrators was to be expected but the way it all occurred was sure surprising in a good way. Now, it’s only left for Lord Ains to end it all and I’m hyped to see that happen, if it is to happen obviously.

Looking forward to seeing the next epsiode!

It's more like your friends calls some people into an abandoned house then when they come to take the stuff you kill and torture them.

Ainz does the same thing for money and he used to raid guilds too, he's a hypocrite.

Hamsuke truly has the noble soul of a samurai. And despite Hamsuke brutally decapitating, nay, destorying his head completely of that asshat with glorious gore; still manages to be cute AF while doing it. I was more than satisfied. I hope those 3 elf slaves have a better life now. They have very sinister smiles and would look right at home in Nazarick.

That "okama" monster thing/torturer really grossed me out. But I guess that was the point though. And for anybody that doesn't know, to get rid of kidney stones, they need to pass them through the urethra while peeing and the stones can get even larger than that spiky tool in that monster's hand. Extremely excruciatingly painful. Now imagine that going back in your dick hole, but with metal spikes.

As for the ending of this episode...knowing ahead of time what happens only disappoints me at their sad and predictable tragic fate. Although I'm curious as to why they didn't just loot the gold at the entrance areas and call it a day, rather than risk fighting hordes of undead that they knew they were going to face. Who needs that noble's crummy pay when you have a chest full of gold coins and other treasures right in front of you.

As interesting as the massacre within the tomb ended up being, I'm a bit unclear as to what purpose it serves for Ains to orchestrate this series of events. I don't really see how killing low-level humans is going to benefit Nazarick at all; letting a few go to tell the tales of Nazarick and raise its notoriety would have made sense considering Ains' goals, but this seems like an odd turn of events. I'm sure it will be explained after Ains (assuming that is actually him, which with the chain on his neck I'm unsure of) annihilates the last intruders, though.
