| Listened to a new album today. Shinedown-Attention Attention Rating:8/10 I've been into Shinedown since they released their 4th album, Amaryllis. So it's been roughly 6 years for me, and now they are out with their 6th album, so here are my thoughts on it. This new album rekindled my love for this band. It's got some of their heaviest material, with powerful songs such as PYRO, EVOLVE, BLACK SOUL, and the leading single of the album DEVIL, this album is probably their most metal record (even though they are an alternative rock/hard rock band). Then there is my favorite track off the record, and that song is called "special." With this track, I don't know if I should feel emotional or burned because damn, for an emotional sounding track, this shit is savage as fuck. Honestly, as far as stuff released this year, this is album of the year for me. |
