| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This is a neat start! I started with a potential car accident that turned into a miracle as Tsubasa survives with the help of a soccer ball. The episode got me invested into the main character already especially since I want to see how Tsubasa develops as a person and soccer player. The animation looks alright, nothing feels out of place so far. OP song fits for the show. The action with the movements of the show feels nice too and I really feel the momentum of the show is nicely directed. |

| OMG!!! Original OP as ED!! (and sung by Tsubasa-kun in this ver.) So nostalgic! I don't remember the 90's ver. (the one I watched, not the 2000's ver.) that well, but I think it's as I remembered. Though is it just me or Tsubasa in this ver. looks more like high schooler than elementary schooler for somehow (too high). OP was ok, but suits the anime. |

| Wow the animation is great and i love the effects they used when they played soccer. So far it is faithful with some addition scene like the Javelin one and the ice Tsubasa and Ishizaki shared. |

| Tsubasa was really adorable as a child and it looked pretty funny when he was lying on the ball,which saved his lifecurse you truck-kun Overall 👌Start, I'm already pumped. Theme songs are fucking great,opening has a lot of spirit and the ending is truly bringing back nostalgia. Didn't understand much,but luckily I'm familiar with the context and the production values were also nice. |

| I loved this new version. It seems that the plot will expand the relations instead of making endless fields. I hope it will advance beyond the children's tournament and let's see a bit of they professional life. Using 'Moette Hero' as the ending is a low blow to nostalgia. ---------------------------- Amé esta nueva versión. | That was a really badass start, I rememebered a bit of the stuff from this episode from when I was a kid (the ball saving him and the shot from far away), but that's all. The power levels are already crazy high from episode 1 tho, damn. |

| Finally watched it, and though I liked it, I'm not too convinced. CT is supposed to be more melodramatic, but this feels waaaay too lighthearted, and characters don't feel very real, which is odd given this is airing at 1:30am. If I didn't know of CT before I'd say this looks like a generic, simple slice of life. |

The animation seens good, only thing that i didn't like was the soundtrack, Road to 2002 had an amazing soundtrack but the animation was shit, i hope more cool songs will be added in later episodes too. The opening and ending visuals are great, feels just like the JoJo ones, and the classic 1983 opening song remixed in the ending was really cool. |

| I think I'll love this anime. I watched some episodes of some Captain Tsubasa series during my childhood, but they never caught my full attention. I especially like the effects in the reactions and stuff, it's almost like watching JoJo but in football. |

| This was sooooooooooooo nostalgic! Brilliant The opening was really good and fits the anime perfectly. Animation is good, you get JoJo part 4 vibes from this because it's also done by David production. Great start! |

| Fantastic, so much nostalgia. XD I grew up with this show. I used to come home from school everyday and watch Tsubasa when it aired on Animax Asia. Good time man, good times so seeing all this again just puts a huge smile on my face. XD Alright back to the remake, really well done. It was really charming and the very fact that seeing Tsubasa's kick from the hill, the shot under the bus and a lot of other things filled me with nostalgia lets me say without a doubt that they totally managed to nail the atmosphere here. It feels fresh but still has that nostalgic factor of seeing everything again. Great job. I can't wait to see more, especially some of the scenes that I really love. |
