| OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS REAL!!!! THE DAY IS FINALLY HERE!?? MY PRAYERS HAVE BEEN ANSWERED????!!? Honestly, I'm actually so emotional right now. This an all-time absolute favourite animanga for me and ever since the minute I finished watching the last episode of the anime I've been desperately wishing for a 3rd season! Somehow that wish only got stronger when I caught up with the manga because Madhouse had adapted the first 2 series so well (it absolutely must be Madhouse at the helm to continue the fantastic and faithful quality adaptation - so hoping for the confirmation of that). It gets so much better as the manga progresses and now I can finally see it on screen! AHHH I'M SO OVERWHELMED AND EXCITED AND HAPPY!! |

| Wow did not see this coming. I mean it has been several years, and from the comments I read, it wasn't exactly doing excellently in enough sales to garner confidence for another season. I didn't think it was an exceptional show, but I did find the matches exhilarating to watch and very original. Looking forward to it for sure. |

| Of all of the anime to get another season, Chihayafuru was not one I was expecting. And I am so happy to see it getting some more recognition. It's a shame we still have to wait for 2019 for it to air. |
