 Good morning greetings are causing havoc in India and creating headaches in Silicon Valley. Each morning, hundreds of millions of people share "good morning" images with their friends and family members on WhatsApp, a free calling and messaging app. It's causing problems by overloading the app's servers and clogging up phones across the country. More than 200 million people in India use the WhatsApp messaging service. One in three smartphone users in India run out of space daily, as opposed to one in 10 in the US, according to the Wall Street Journal. As per the WSJ report, there was a 10-fold increase in the number of Google searches for "good morning images" over the past five years. On New Year's Eve, WhatsApp users in India sent more than 20 billion messages - a world record. In an effort to combat the problem, Google is promoting its Files Go app. The tool helps users to free up space on their phones by searching and suggesting which files could be deleted. | Quite sad imho when they have to rely on electronic Communications for that in the first Place. Also handwritten Letters or at least Post Cards have way more Style than electronic Messages.
