I thought it was pretty fantastic, Team Kotaro all the way though, best of the HoneyWorks in these movies so far. Realistic ending overall, and I liked it.

Kotaro so cute though.

Diner scene was my favorite followed by the scene when Kotaro had LBP3 and had hat random shouting match with Sakaguchi.

Between the two films, I liked the former more. I feel this one lacked substance and was just moving along to get to it's conclusion. That said, it was still touching. The romantic development between the two main characters was done better in the first film. In the end Hina-can is smiling and appears to be opening up her heart and mind. I did like how they tied the two films together for a brief moment which game the series some continuity. Good music and art though.

LOL

I like the first movie than this one but I like Hina-chan more than Natsuki and the musics here are good than the first movie imo.

OMG Senpai Please Notice Me!!! LOL are we 4 real here...this may be the most generic school romance anime EVER! It's like every basic school romance anime ever created jammed into an hour. That ending was garbage too like seriously you're just gonna waste an hour of my time by not giving a finite ending...WTF! Oh and Hina's Han Solo like response to Kotaro saying "I love you" ... "I know" LOL Ha rejection Hina was like nope I'm going to big brother. Overall this anime just screams average af!
I shall rule over the realms of anime and manga! Mwahhahahahaha!!!

I was just listening to the ED song while doing other stuff and then realized there was more plot there?!?

Honestly that ED song was so sweet. I'd also have to say I liked the first film more, but this wasn't bad.

It wasn't too bad. This felt like a continuation of the first movie, except from the perspective of the original MC's younger siblings. Having the original Honeyworks song as the ED really helped to expand on the movie a bit.

And you gotta feel sorry for Koyuki. The boy gets his heart broken, and is too nice to accept a girl who has genuine feelings for him as a rebound (not to mention that he knows another kid has feels for her too). Wonder if there's a follow up to his story, or does he end up forever alone.

Pretty nice. enjoyed it mostly because of the main heroine and because movie was very very realistic. and i love realistic romances. But the main reason like i said is Hina. I have very big weakness to any girl named Hina not to mention she has pink hair(my another weakness)

If you are refering to the songs with lyrics...:
The movies are based on a music series by HoneyWorks, and they upload most of their songs on youtube, it's hard not to find them hahahahaha
Though if you are refering to the instrumental versions of some of the songs during the movie... then just wait until the dvd/blu-ray come out. Maybe then you could find them.

--

By the way, why am I the only one that is completly shocked with the scene at 46:25?? That implied Koudai having feelings for Natsuki, right? Or am I seeing things? omg.

So Koyuki is still the odd man out. Even though everyone has a partner he's the only one who don't have one.

I just hope they create another song for Koyuki, because he's the reason I watch honey works.

So the main focus was about the younger siblings of the main 2 from the first film? Did Haruki and Mio actually get together? That was one part that disappointed me from the first film. Especially after that conversation he had with the teacher.

tbh i don't like Natsuki and Kotarou. I don't know why but i just don't like them from the beginning

After the first movie, I thought it will get a better story. I am deeply disappointed... and when you think things started to heat up between Kotarou & Hina bang! the movie ended WTF!? And it hasn't even wrapped up nicely, even the credit scene or the after-credit scene wasn’t enough for me... about Senpai, I thought Koyuki would get some kind of closure in this movie but sadly not the case... overall to me this was a good movie nothing more nothing less.

We need a third movie to properly wrap up the other ships imo but I liked this movie just as much as the first one....Hina's letter was so sweet man :'')

Don't understand why there's so much salt over there not being any definite couples at the end of this, not every couple gets together automatically lol, be happy that she at least acknowledge his feelings and left things open for her to reciprocate them in the future

(Although, the ethical side of me is glad that they didn't get together since their older siblings are dating and them dating as well is really weird)

Nice movie, seems to take place in parallel with the events of the first one but from the perspective of the younger siblings.

I kinda feel bad for Koyuki, he couldn't get the girl he loved and he chose to not accept the feelings of a girl who love him not to mention he even knew that Kotarou loved Hina. :(

There was a lot of setup for future couples, Hina x Kotarou kinda ended in a very open manner, however that post credit scene was all I wanted. <3

We definitely need a 3rd movie to wrap everything up, I hope there is one.

7/10.

Like Lelouch0202 (#20) said, the movie takes place during the events of Zutto Mae kara Suki deshita.: Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai, just from Hina and Kotarou's perspectives. The beginning, ending credits, and post-credits however are respectively set before, after, and after the first movie.

Gee, having watched the prequel, it's sad to relive Koyuki's heartbreak once again. It's too bad Hina didn't manage to give her love letter to him either. She got to tell Koyuki her feelings, but he doesn't know the full extent of them yet. That's what I want to happen if a sequel happens.

On a different topic, it was nice to see the senpais from Zutto Mae kara Suki deshita.: Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai. I didn't expect Mochita's disinterest in girls romantically before he met Akari.

This was 7/10, same rating as the first film. The creators left the Arisa and Shibaken storyline hanging. I also wonder what is going on with Kodai (Kotarou's other friend). Does he like Natsuki? It won't be a surprise if a third film about the aforementioned is in the works.

I did not enjoy this as much as the first. Hina should've at least gave the letter to koyuki. I thought after discussing "regret" and all that with the other girl after school, she'd learn a lesson. I feel like she didn't try hard enough. She could've console him first, then confess her feelings some another time or do what she did- confess right away and hand him the letter nonetheless. Ugh! I was so frustrated 😤 wanted her to end up with koyuki

Well, during all the songs you can see she really tries to be with Koyuki, but he simply doesn't notice because he has already someone he likes (also he's not the type to think highly of himself).

On the song 'Senpai', one of the last things Hina says is: "Because these feelings that will never reach you will only disturb you, I'll keep them closed." So because she knows he still likes Natsuki, and telling him her feelings will only put him on a bind, she decides to let him go with a huge smile. Though this is not shown on the movie.
On the movie it seems that Hina ends up really heartbroken and that's all, but the truth is that after that failed confession, they remainded as friends until his graduation (although she kept trying) and at the end she herself says goodbye to her first love.

TOO much content (also a lot of different points of view) to fully adapt it in two movies, this was to be expected :( Nevertheless I quite like them.

Not bad, but I liked the first movie a little more than this one. The conclusion wasn't really satisfying, it's still a "realistic" one, though.

Yeah, so I have the same criticism and praise for this film as I did for the first one. Brief moments of cheesy cringe along with a bit of crippled pacing were back. They were countered by some wonderful vocal tracks and stellar art. Although, I feel like the character designs could've done with a bit of a boost in detail. Animation was okay. I think the story was overall tighter this time too. Again, I felt it drag around the 40m mark for a moment or two.

The choice of songs to adapt were once again numerous and pretty well mashed together. There was something for every haniwa fan in it. I for one was was happy to see they had included Sena even though her own plot was too detached to be part of the actual film. I can't remember if there were remixes of the lyrics in the first film but kotarou's rendition of ima suki ni naru was a nice twist to hear. the kokosake film tickets in the post-credits scene was lol

All in all, same bottom line as the first film. Probably pretty mediocre as a standalone, but for those of us following the vocaloid series, it's something great to see it all up on screen, beautifully voiced and animated.

Yeah, I didn't expect this movie to be as much of a side by side with the first movie. You saw Hina in the first movie at the end with the love letter. I don't feel as bad for Koyuki. He was sad about Natsuki, but he did basically ignore Hina's confession. I do love at the end the way Hina acknowledged Kotaro's feelings. She wasn't there yet (probably still not over the rejection by Koyuki), but she was falling for him in my opinion (The way she blushed when he whispered something in her ear during the still shots was telling). I personally want to see more of Kotaro and Hina, Mio and Haruki, and Akari and Souta.

OST is pretty nice, I like this one better than the prequel but... My main reason for watching this (a.k.a Koyuki) is once again in the sad zone.. After i watch this, I go straight up to Honey works channel on YouTube and watched all of their video and ended up with no result of finding happy end for Koyuki. Which is why I give this a 7/10. Lol XD

Wow, 2 childhood couples in 2 consecutive movies...... wishes do come to fruition.

Btw I liked the romance more in 1st film but HinaxKotaro pairing of the 2nd. Liked how stacked Hina was compared to Nacchan. Didn't liked Koyuki much so pretty happy Kotaro won by default.

Music OST was ear-orgasmic. enough said.

I thought the moment was decent, nothing groundbreaking especially the comedy. It felt like a hit or miss with the 'notice me senpai' jokes and others.

I like Kotarou the most in this show, he just seemed more entertaining to watch compared to the other characters. Akari bought a decent amount of comedy into the first half of the movie which I thought was kinda amusing. 6/10.

Wow, compared to the first movie this was A LOT better, mainly because it was centered on two characters only and they got the most of the time. Hina was great character and Katarou too, and this ending was pretty much the best one (both ED one and the aftercredits one). Really liked their chemistry, even more than Yuu and Natsuki's the last time.

And I also like other chracters too, small cameos from the first movie here and there were really well incorporated into the movie. Even Koyuki was portrayed a lot better than the last time. Pretty funny they were going to Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda movie in the end :)

8/10 Really liked this movie, both main characters clicked together pretty well and the feels were great.

Seems like Sena (model girl) would be the next one?
And I would also liked to see nerdy glasses boy getting together with Takamizawa, that would be cool.

I like that this movie displayed that, even if you get rejected by your first love, it’s not necessarily a terrible event. Hina clearly did not regret falling in love with Koyuki. I like that it was Koyuki’s warm smile that had Hina fall in love with him, which really shows how easy and simple it can be to like someone! ><

I think Koyuki lied about Hina’s confession being done to comfort him, because he didn’t have the heart to reject her… After all, Hina’s confession was bad timing since Koyuki just had his heart broken when Yuu and Natsuki started to date. :/ So, I don’t think Koyuki wanted to go through another love episode…. If the circumstances were different, Koyuki may have responded differently to Hina’s confession; I imagine that he’d at least receive her love letter, and learn how genuine her feelings are! ><

I liked Kotarou’s sincerity. His persistence to pursue what he has his mind set on, is a nice trait! 😊 I like that even though Kotarou knew Hina likes Koyuki, that didn’t stop him from confessing to her, and persisting despite her initial rejection. Based on the ending credits, Hina is falling in love with Kotarou! 😊 I think Hina needs time to move on from Koyuki’s rejection, so this couple will form eventually. <3

It was also nice to see different sides of the characters from the prequel movie. Seeing how shy Souta is around Akari, I didn’t think he has older and younger sisters, who probably influenced his initial disinterest in girls, before he fell in love… xD

I also want to learn more about Takamizawa and Shibasaki, and see their relationship develop! I like that Takamizawa stood up for Hina, when she told Shibasaki off for making our protagonist uncomfortable. >< Shibasaki is certainly interested in Takamizawa, since he thought of her while he was hanging out with his friends…

We also saw Sena and Midori! I saw a HoneyWorks video of these two going on a date. I want to know how they got/will get together! XD

Overall, this movie was enjoyable. 😊

The comments here had me worried but I actually liked this movie more than the 1st one. 8/10 or at least 7.5/10 enjoyment. Liked all the characters. Shame how they couldn't fit the whole Kotarou/Hina plot but it stll ended satisfying. He managed to take the starter position not only in soccer team but also in her heart.
