| I don't think creation's death affects their original story in any way. I think the show already tried to make a good point that creations are separate beings that change on their own. I agree Souta is annoying, but that is also intended. People are giving him too much salt for being "The MC"... which is wrong. I can't say he or anyone else is the definitive main character here, Souta is just one part of the human team that tries to fit everything together and we are getting various points of view. Sure covering information might be bad, but he probably just thinks that information is not really viable and believes the others will find the important info anyway. I don't think he knows even that much tbh and I believe his behavior fits with the themes of the show with overcoming guilt. His side shows more personality. Weakest characters already got tricked, now curious what happens next, but I have a feeling Alice is the next to go down. I doubt anyone from the 'good' guys is gonna die soon.. except maybe the authors are still in danger? |

| Sota is pretty much become a coward and dumb at this point now (hope It's only in this episode). But still dat' Makagami tho'... And I think we finally almost understand the background of Setsuna and a gist of Altair's motive imo. Still that Ending is really unexpected, I expect Mamika will go first but didn't expect it this soon. But that cliffhanger, either Mamika really die or She'll survive. Who knows? welp, no choice but waiting for the next episode i guess. |

| I honestly didn't have any feelings towards Makagami until this episode. My god she's such an awesome character!!! She's obviously evil but we still have no ideas what her intentions are. Is she just planning to have fun and kill people randomly or does she have a plan for something else? She's so interesting. Also her laugh after she exchanged numbers with Sota was both sexy and terrifying. Meteora <3 Aww man I almost melted when she grabbed Sota's hand, what a nice moment. Damn Mamika's development has been exceedingly good. Too bad she got sliced up like cheese at the end. Although Magical Splash Flare may have saved her. Damn what an ending!!! I also think that Sota had a hand in Drawing either the Original Princess or the Current Princess that we know. |

| Ah man, please don't kill off Mamika. Though, her idealism probably makes her the most vulnerable of them all. So funny how many people are salty with Souta over not telling Meteora the truth. The authors of this Anime have done a great job, for this is totally intended. But I think, it's realistic. Souta's the youngest of them, and it is obviously now he blames himself for the death of Setsuna, probably he even thinks he has killed her himself. |
| It feels like Souta is from a different anime a times. He just doesn't fit in with the atmosphere and doesn't help with anything. I hope Mamika doesn't die too soon. She's the only character with actual development. |

| Freaking excellent stuff. Just started this series a couple of days back and I'm already caught up. Already, this show is undoubtedly up there with some of my favorite series of all time. Jeez. Otaku references, meta jokes, clashing of philosophies, existential questions, fate, determinism, agency, what is canon, authorial intent and a ton of what-if-it-was-real scenarios. I can't believe they dealt with doujinshi and derivative work as well! One of my interests is dissecting the relationship between audience and fictional characters and for a show to directly address it in such an interesting and thought-provoking way (Fate/Zero battle royale style with otaku characters) is a dream come true. (^.^;) Love all the characters, love the interactions, love the plot progression, love the twist and turns, love it, love it, love it. I have no idea how they are going to keep this quality up for the rest of the series, but I am super excited to find out. Mind-boggling that it's not getting at least an 8 on here. ...by the way, for people complaining about Souta... seriously? Why don't you go live out a traumatic experience so we can get annoyed at you because we can't relate? Man that was harsh. (^.^;) |

| From a socially cynical (I'd say realistic) perspective I think Souta's apprehension to reveal that he bullied his friend until she killed herself out of jealousy (I'm guessing that's what happened) is probably pretty justified. Try to think of this as real life, not anime. Of course in an anime everyone is going to be accepting, but imagine if you did that. Imagine the worst thing you've ever done and think about what it would mean if people knew about it, or if you have nothing like that just try to imagine. You would bury it and think that you would be shunned, and you would be right to. People are quick to condemn and look for excuses not to associate with you ever again. For this reason I believe Souta is reasonably keeping it in. |

| Now that's what you call a cliffhanger, I've felt petty for Mamika until the last 0.3 seconds where she exploded everything. Been watching and rewatching this anime past episodes a lot and I deliberately choose to divide them into that old personality chart of Good Neutral Bad / Lawful Neutral Chaotic and it keeps getting better and better. The "development mechanic" of the characters is pretty well made IMO tho, if you look by lens of those charts you can get pretty well why Alicetaria ideal of justice/righteousness make her strike down with great vengeance and furious anger those who oppose her. And yet, Souta, the MC can't get his shit done and is starting to get caught by a scheemer and the plot continues to develop more and more into the 4 ending episodes... But it is marked as a 22 episodes series. How it will continue to develop after this great cliffhanger I don't even know, but please, let them continue this great work. Final thoughts on the episode: 9 out of 10 because I can't find a way to not end this anime with a single 12 episode cour, but i'm hyped for the next episode. Cheers! |

| Now that we know what the true origin of the military princess is they can start planning on how to stop her. Still its nice to see Mamika try and come to her own conclusion though rather let one person dictate her actions. Her character really has evolved from the first time we seen her though. There's no question that military princess really hates this world though. But the question is why though. So military princess's name is Altair eh. Hmm the fact that Altair is based on another character will be a problem. A secondary creation based on a existing one will however still be unique though. But as a result of being based off another character Altair has some changes to her eh. If we can find the creator then we can move on to the next step. Hmm i guess that they managed to find the creators of Blitz and Yuya's creator. Hmm Marine seems to admire the creator of Code Babylon eh. Though it looks like there may be some problems between Matsubara and Goda though. Yuya doesn't look pleased to meet his creator as well lol. It will be bad if Yuya just gets violent here though. But despite Meteora's words i guess he really is angry eh. Meanwhile Souta is still focused on his secret regarding Altair eh. Hmm Meterora looks pretty nice in normal clothes. I wonder what will happen when they find that it was Souta's friend that created the character. Still i wonder why he is so determined to keep that a secret. Keeping something to yourself is never health though. Bu i guess with his secret he can't really tell anyone. Still it is nice that Meteora is so understanding though. She is a good listener as well. Hmm so Souta was jealous towards his friend because of his lack of talent compared to her. Which created a sense of jealousy towards her but in the end Souta did't mean. As human beings we are bound by the emotions that we have and sometimes these emotions can manifest in ways that we never intended. This is what happened here. Meteora's advice as always is intelligent and straight to the point. But to Souta i think its already too late as that friend is already deceased. Jealousy and envy are two sides of the same coin and if you deny them then they can turn into something real ugly. Souta should use these as a motivation and work harder so that he matches his friend. Hmm looking at the worlds that they are from it looks like AliceTeria's world is by far the most brutal and hard. It is nice that Alice's personality is focused on honor and that she respects the opinions of others though. Though Mamika did act against her its nice that she didn't hold any grudge against Mamika. Mamika may not be the strongest fighter but her heart and soul are in the right place at least. Alice still looks down on what the real world is like eh. In normal circumstances Alice and Mamika would never have met in the first place as their worlds are totally different. Still these two characters do contrast each pretty well and they make the unlikeliest of friends as well. I wonder what Mamika is planning to do now that she knows what Altair has planned. Lol Magane as maid man thats a cherry thought. Magane is still very much the enigma though. She's powerful yet she doesn't seem to want to help either side here. Magane is frighteningly intelligent though. The effect that she's having on Souta though is really unnerving him. So Mamika finally confronts Altair then eh. Now that she knows the truth Mamika is going to be pretty angry. Though i don't think Altair wants to be saved and that she doesn't see you as a friend either. In Altair she has nothing but hatred for everything in this world be it its people or the creations that are borne from it. She's like a seething mass of hatred given form. So her hatred stems from the fact that her creator Souta's friend was looked down upon and rejected by the others especially her best friend Souta that ultimately caused her death eh. That last scene though was really unexpected. The ambush of Mamika was as suspected since i didn't think that Altair would let Mamika leave or stop her but to think both will opt to sue full force though. Anyway can't wait to see how this fight turns out next episode. Interesting episode. We finally know the true identity of military princess but not so much as her creators fate since thats connected with Souta's subplot and struggle. We also get to see Mamika make her decision after finding out the truth and her attempt to stop Altair. The introduction of Blitz and Yuuya's creators though was interesting and the fact that the creator of Yuuya doesn't get along with Selestia's creator will be something to look for. I also like the character development thats been h going into Mamika as well. The biggest revelation is of course the fact that Altair is not following a story that was created for her but rather her own path. So Mamika even knows what happened to Setsuna as well eh. |
