I love the ocean and warm climates (for the most part), but you wouldn't catch me anywhere near the beach in Australia lmao. I'm surprised the ground beneath you doesn't want to kill you

Most of our oceans aren't mapped so am not very surprised its fauna is mostly unknown as well.

Aaaand that's why you don't jump into the middle of the ocean. Especially in South Africa. They have those leaping great whites.

It was most likely eaten by another shark

There was no 50ft shark found...that was featured in a mockumentry during shark week which was heavily criticized for not being clear it was fake. The popularity took off and now theories are out of control. Megaladon is very much extinct. I also watched the episode of the 10ft shark "being devoured" there's no such proof that that is what occurred at all, the only change they witnessed was the depth and temperature reading not enough evidence whatsoever to prove it was eaten. They just jazzed it up so sound catchy.

This is not baffling real marine biologists and researchers as it's obviously fake, what's really baffling them is the mystery of the great white pupping grounds that despite being searched for for years has not been found.

I thought the common consensus was that animals aren't generally normal in Australia? Seems like a regular afternoon.

Probably a new species of shark or some other sea predator ate that shark.

When you have a list of more plausible reasons for this, why do people instantly jump to the Loch Ness conclusion.

Like this 50FT mega shark found near the world's most deepest point (Mariana Trench) last year.

This video is complete nonsense.

1. It claims that the world record for longest Great White Shark is 10ft.
Great White Sharks regularly get bigger than 10ft and the world record is in fact 21ft.

2. There is no way in hell the shark in the video is 50ft, it's not even close to that.

A tag being inside the belly of another animal does not mean that other animal swallowed it whole. Another animal could have taken a chunk out of that shark where that tag was placed. Killer whales for example will eat sharks.Which could explain.A giant squid could have also taken a chunk out of the shark.
