ACTUAL DILEMMAS! Last time One Piece had tangible, character-defining dilemmas was in Enies Lobby. This arc went from a 4/10 to a 9/10 for me in one chapter. GODA. |

Wow Oda really hates Sanji huh, I was trying to discard the possibility of Pudding being evil. Seems like I have been fooled too. Maybe Sanji will restore realtions with his family? I can see that and I also can not. Also Big Mom could have taken a bit of Jimbei's lifespan. |

I can't even feel sad. I was totally on board the TRUST IN PUDDING ship. Always had the slight doubts she may be lying since the personality of the 3 eyed girl was really different. But I assumed she might be her twin like Lola had a twin. Seems like NOPE Luffy being that pissed LMAO...The emotions of "Goodbye" during the end of that chp and here we see her saying u filthy little rats after that was hilarious xD Such a bitch Seems like this was true lol Wonder if Sanji's ideals of "Forgiving a woman's lie" will apply here. And man Pedro taking his own eye out was epic. This guy has my utmost respect. Also I wonder how Zepo related to Bepo? |

Great chapter. LOL Chopper & Carrot appearing in people's mirrors. Luffy not giving up. Hmm Zepo. Bepo's Brother or Father? Pedro is badass slicing Tamago in half. DAMN Poor Sanji. Pudding was a terrible person this whole time. Massacre of the Vinsomke Family. |

I'm gonna assume Pedro's old partner Zepo was probably Bepo's father. However that's not important right now because...... HOLY SHIT THAT PLOT TWIST! I know Big Mom's entire family is a bunch of nut jobs, but I seriously hoped Pudding would be the one exception. But nope, Oda drops this bombshell on us. She really did turn out to be evil and was playing Sanji and the Straw Hats this whole time, plus they plan to massacre the entire Vinsmoke family at this wedding. Sanji can never seem to catch a break. This is like some Game of Thrones Red Wedding shit right here. |

That third eye actually creeped me out a little. I want to give Sanji a hug now. Pudding turned out to be evil...? Yikes. That diabolical plan at the wedding...I wonder how Sanji plans to stop it. |

I do remember seeing a three-eyed quiet girl from a chapter where Big Mom made her very first appearance during the Fishman Island arc. (IIRC it was chapter 651) That three-eyed girl was actually Pudding all along and she's actually freaking evil! Dammit this revelation was shocking and poor Sanji got trolled so hard. :'( |

I was not ready for that! Did absolutely NOT see that coming and I LOVE IT! I think a way out of it all would be if Sanji will warn the Vinsmoke's during the wedding and somehow they will together stop the massacre and then that will open up for them (if not befriending each other) to at least get rid of their hold on Sanji with the threat of killing ol' man Zeff if he doesn't do as he is told. Thus, Sanji will be able to rejoin the crew with no problem! Of course, this was overly simplified and there will probably be loads of other things happening as well |

In this moment, all I can say is I feel for a Brother. Go Ape Sanji show them you aren't going down without a fight. Also Pedro is a beast, takes out is own eye and takes out Tamago. The only light thing in this chapter was Chopper and Carrot peeping XD. Cannot wait for next chapter, I hope this is the point that Sanji snaps and his ideas about women change so he can fight Pudding. |

My hats off to Oda.Even if i really wanted Pudding to be good... There was no much hint that actually show her real face and now things are getting really crazier. Seems like Lola is the only one good in Big Mom family. Also we now know that Pudding might be the one who injured Reiju in the last chapter. Pedro is awesome and i hope he won't die. What will Sanji do now and there is a chance for Vinsmoke redemption. |

Alot of idiots hearts were broken this chapter. 4/5 twist was somewhat predictable therefore not mindblowing overall a good chapter though. It´s just annoying to know that we won´get any new dynamic and Sanji will not change one bit once he´s reunited with the crew again. |

(IIRC it was chapter 651) Yup, that was her back then, probably. 651/10 I just wonder if her third eye has any special abilities, or nah? Do some of her other daughters have it too? Plot-twist: Pudding becomes good when she realizes she's been adopted. I honestly was like "meh, another boring arc" when luffy and nami were in that weird forest. Now I honestly think this is going to be one of the best arcs in a long time! The wedding is really close, and we can't ignore details that might be important for this arc yet. Jimbei is around somewhere, and Big Mom's going to open up that Fisherman-Island chest which has a bomb hidden in it. If that's going to happen, it means that Brook is going to lose probably beforehands. I hope he'll be in the next chapter, I really wonder what he can do against Big Mom. He's the soul king, and he's against the "soul queen". Oda always surprises us with amazing twists. I had thought that Pudding might've been evil. Then I saw the last chapter's last page where Pudding was crying, everyone thought she's gonna commit suicide, or blow herself up with everyone else, or something. And now.. Good job, Oda. |

Well what a misleading chapter title, but I like when they do that, Ray of Hope sounds like this is when the good guys start to turn things around, as soon as heard Sanji "ray of hope", I knew that wasn't going to happen, something bad would happen. Now than we get some we get lot of reveals once again Oda is speeding up this arc. So what is up with Pudding's 3rd eye, does her personality change when she uncovers it. Though we real Pudding? Or do we, not buying it. Pudding is not that kind sweet girl she appeared to be, but she is not heartless "b" that she is in this chapter is. That would be inconsistent with the one scene we had completely in her prospective a couple of chapters ago. And what we know from that, she had a close relationship with Lola, and Big Ma manipulates her to do whatever she says. And she says she is a great actress, well what if she is such a great actress, she is fooling herself, she forgot who she is really lost in a bunch of roles. The real Pudding might be lost forever. Also if Pudding the type of person she is trying to portray in this chapter, when she told Luffy and Nami what she was going to do, wouldn't she just give a evil smirk or something, and not be crying. It is clear she really doesn't want to do this, but you have to do what Big Ma says, and she is pumping herself up to do it, like Sanji was doing just now with this weeding. Clearly thought she is really messed up. That being said if anything can get Sanji to break his promise not to hit a woman, he might be tempted. I don't think that would happen, but I want him to at least think about it. I have been saying Nami vs Pudding that is going to happen, will be hard to watch because they look so much alike, they better not wear a similar outfit. I want Nami to tell her "what would Lola think if she saw you know". The Sanji new female character relationship I most care about is Sanji and Reijiu, I want to know how Reijiu and Pudding had their confrontation, if Pudding was about kill Sanji and she protected him, I don't know what your deal is Sanji lumping Reijiu with his jerk brothers, but forgive her dam it. That is the one thing that gets on my nerves about this arc. What did Reijiu ever do to you Sanji just because she publicly didn't stand up for him, after she rescued you, the next time you see her, you are so cold to her. I wonder why does Big Ma want to kill the Vinsmokes, she had politically marriages with her family before, why can't we have one this time? Are the Vinsmokes that hard to put up with, you just have to kill them, you know I don't blame Big Ma, outside of Reijiu they get on my nerves to. If somehow Sanji and Reijiu make it out of this, and the rest of the family dies, I would be happy, they deserve it. |

Would be so funny if Oda turned this as another twist for the future, something like : 'Pudding actually giving a message to the Vinsmoke & The Strawhat that there'll be a massacre by BM Pirates at the wedding, so that they could prevent it' XD A good day for Bropper and Carrot if they ended up popping in front of Big Mom's mirror... :3 |

Great chapter, Damn, I doubted Pudding in the beginning but slowly began to trust her and now baam! The hammer. :( Luffy abusing Pudding was quite funny but well needed. So Pedro was buddies with a guy called Zepo, The part where he gouged his eye out was insane. This guy is awesome. Chopper and Carrot are wrecking havoc in mirror world. xD Really feel sad for Sanji, Poor guy was devastated at the end, That final panel of him was so poignant. Why does he keep getting into scenario's like this? He went through so much in his childhood, Finally found his ray of hope in Zeff and the StrawHats. He had to give them up as well and now Pudding his only light was also destroyed. Ironic how this chapter is named Ray of hope eh? I was so hoping for something good to happen. |

No. Pudding said she is Big Moms favourite and I remember Big Mom saying that she is her precious doll or something. Also the fact that Big Mom keeps Pudding close to her in her own throne room shows that she is much more special to her compared to her other daughters. |

Big Mom is one of the yonkou, Luffy is weakened, there are still some things that need to be finished in this arc (stealing the poneglyph somehow). I am also not sure if Luffy can beat Big Mom so early in his current state, especially if he barely won against Cracker. |

smokes said: you know what Sanji can do now ? POISON HER with the food he is bringing now.. now that would be an awesome killing (without punching a woman rule) I thought about that possibility too, but Sanji has also a rule about not wasting/spoiling food, so poisoning food would be just as much against his morals as punching a woman. Maybe he'll become insane and do that, but at that point it wouldn't matter which one of his morals he breaks; punches a woman (to death?), or poisons her. |

Well, here Oda fells in the cliché at contrary of that moment. She reveals her intentions to Luffy for no reason. Perhaps there's a reason why she is revealing her true nature to Sanji's sister but it is a bit too convenient that Sanji sees it... Also the too black and white was referred particularly at how she was depicted to be loved by the readers and now is portrayed in a way to be hated as the most evil person in the universe. |

Why is everyone saying this twist was masterful? It was so obvious that it can't even be called a twist. The majority of people considered this at one point or another. I was honestly hoping Oda wouldn't go this route but he did. Instead of making it a conflict where Sanji would have to choose between Pudding, the SHs and Zeff's lives, and his freedom and friends' wishes he simply made Pudding evil to null all of it. I'm sorry, I love One Piece but that was simplistic writing. Fairy Tail level writing. |

That 0 to 100 moment from sweet pudding to 3-eyed bitch pudding... damn! I can see why Luffy is furious. I see Pedro having that big bounty and that old beef with tamago, though I don't see him 1 shotting the egg based on that panel. I also see where this part of the story is going. Sanji, the lone-wolf of the family will eventually save his father, brothers and the whole germa country with a few sacrifices (the clone army) to be given. Calling it here now. |

Not the arc as a whole, this plot twist and subsequent wrap up of it. Instead of giving any complexity to the situation Oda solves the problem by making everyone evil. If it's a double twist I'll gladly eat my words but that would be merely an assumption until it does. And asking for statistics on semantics? I'm not exaggerating anything. Have a look throughout the last 20 chapter discussions on this forum and find me 5 bad comments, go on. Target audience doesn't mean the series has to be cartoonishly simplistic, that's a poor excuse. Furthermore, the majority of One Piece readers in Japan are over 20 year old.
