| That Tsuritama cameo We all knew Gel was going to become PM and it is going to end badly. At the half way mark and everything just feels expected with this season, sort of upsetting, but I think I'm just as happy to see the characters faces again! |

| Great development, things sure are getting quite interesting even though the story pacing is a bit slow it's getting to a point that it is getting interesting and with the episodic pacing still being superb I can't complain! Let's see what's next. |

| "I walked down the street, found the dog a home, helped an old lady cross the road, taught the kids my unity peace sign, carried an old man's luggage for him, look at me, I am doing a great job as the PM of Nippon" Lmao, how about you just be a volunteer? I have had this feelings for Tsubasa for a while, I couldn't exactly pinpoint what exactly, but now I know for sure. Tsubasa, after she became Gatchaman, is it just me or did it seem like her changes was too abrupt. A sec before she was all gung ho about making fireworks and taking over her great grandpa's business, a sec later she was enthusiastic about saving the world, at the cost of her supposedly 'dream'? We never got to learn why she wants to make the world a peaceful place, making her seems like a very shallow person (not that she wasn't lel). I also feel that occasionally (all the time) the writers had to dumb down her character in order to create conflicts between her ideals and the others'. It feels really really forced and it also make it so that there was less consistency in that character. Moving on to Gel-chan, this guy is just way too funny, in a so bad it's funny situation. This guy apparently knows enough about the Earth to be the politician on Earth. I won't doubt his political knowledge as he may have learned them back on his own planet, but handling all the paper works on Earth in matter of seconds, was I supposed to believe that blindly, or was I supposed to be impressed? Many people here have pointed out the problems with the way they solve problem, and that they are not long-sighted enough, they are not looking at the possible long term defects. It's cool and all that they are helping the kids, the elders, the people, it looks good on the front, but doing a good job as a PM doesn't require looking good in front of the masses. It makes Gel look superficial. My expectation: VanishingKira said: Just waiting for it to blow up in their faces so we can get passed this. My thought: I am tired of this shit. |

| Still slowly growing to dislike Tsubasa. As for Gel... well, he's okay. I can't really hate him since he's an alien and all that and what he's doing I can chalk up to him being ignorant (I suppose). Wanna see more of Hajime and Katze, also the rest of the original members! :c That's the thing I'm most sad about with this season, there's too much Tsubasa and Gel. Jou, OD, and Paiman have their parts to play in a way despite being minor ones but Sugane... he's always seen just hanging out with girls. It's like the makers have no idea what to do with him. Utsutsu is hardly on screen now too. |

| Another interesting episode. Tsubasa's ideals are being severely questioned and Gel's way of thinking is flawed. I agree with OD. The new government is too revolutionary. The people aren't ready for it and probably won't ever. It's too optimistic to think that people will come to a full agreement on everything. I like how accurately they portrayed how shallow people can be. Just because someone is being a goody-goody helping everyone doesn't make him an effective politician. This shit right here happens way too many times in my country during elections. Can't wait for things to fuck up so Hajime will save them all! |

| "STARPUCKS COFFEE" haha. I'll never get tired of such things in anime. I wonder what did that picture of an apple tree with snakes reference...surely not the Bible, right? Hahime's breathing wasn't in synch with everybody else, huh. Nice detail. That Tsuritama reference haha. Tapioca was black! So it's only a reference, not a shared universe, huh. Also, that green-haired girl's hairstyle looks like a shell and a fish tail. That prison guard's voice sounded familiar... I wonder how the CROWDS ban will work in practice. With Gel, Hajime breaks down his reasoning by asking "What color are you?". This is a question with no answer. Gel has no bubble, or in a sense, opinion. He is merely a proxy for the general public (the 60%). He is indeed. I think Yuru-jii was criticizing collectivism (remembering WWII Japan) Best scene of the episode: Hajime eating ice-cream and holding a phone on her leg. |
