Wow Reigen was pretty cool this episode! Definitely enjoyed this series more than I expected to.

Mob lending his power to his master out of gratitude was really unexpected, but it worked in their favor.

Dimple even got his chance to shine!

Overall 9/10! It would be nice to see a second season announcement for this.
So glad that I'm not a huge manga reader, because the manga readers WHINE WAY TOO MUCH and have to RUIN every adapted anime for the ANIME ONLY WATCHERS!

Once again, Reigen is such a big troll, lol.

Anyway, pretty nice show overall. I enjoyed it. I wouldn't mind a second season. 8/10.

Reigen was awesome! xD
I really enjoyed this anime. From episode 4 onward it kept getting better and better, and not once did I feel bored or looked at the time.
I honestly never expected it to be this good, but I guess you can't judge a book by its cover.

9/10

Amazing episode!Reigen borrowed Mob's power and beat everyone and after that through his lecture forced his enemies to see the reality that they are just commoners. As an after effect Reigen can see spirits now.The strong kid appeared to be the son of the Claw's boss and he was an inspector for this particular base.Teru wants to train with the other espers so they can be prepared for another Claw's attack. We also had a short story with Mob and Reigen at the end.Let's hope for a 2nd season now!

If there will be a season 2, which I actually hope for, I think a few things will be addressed that were hinted at in this episode.
1, Reigen developing actual powers, as dimpel hinted towards it (He also saw psychic powers in Ritsu, when they weren't really developt yet).
2, Tsubomi getting a bigger role in the show, as the opening had quite a few scenes in it with here, despite the show itself having almost none.
3, Mob developing feelings for Mezato. Maybe a far stretch, but they have quite a lot interacting compared to other female characters in the show.
4, Maybe the psychic research club (Or whatever it is called) finding an actual powerful esper, which will result in Claw capturing them or something, would seem plausible.

Anything more that you guys might've figured out?

Reigen the adult takes over and solves the problem.
Shou beats the gravity old man and calls his father who is claw's boss :O
And it ends with tsuchinoko story :) 9/10

Reigen's society thing makes sense if he wasn't a bit of a hypocrite con artist XD

Reigen is hilarious! The whole plot since he arrived at the base is just so damn ludicrous! Hands down my favorite character. Again, the animation in this episode was exhilarating. These characters got a lot of development for despite how quirky this anime is. Definitely hope for a sequel and based on the car scene, so does Bones.

8/10 and one of my favourites this season.

You can start at Chapter 51.
I recommend reading it from the start though. The anime rushed through parts and skipped stuff like solo exorcisms by Reigen, stats on Body Improvement Club members, etc.

I know ONE left a lot of hints for the Claw Boss arc in the original manga and the anime's just adapting all of them with the wrapping up of the 7th Branch arc, but ugh now I'm really hyped with hope for a season 2.

Also really love how anticlimatic the Reigen fight was, it honestly perfectly suits the message Reigen was trying to deliver.

Overall 10/10, although as an adaptation only 8.5/10. They really did a lot of rushing in the middle they didn't need to, and I'm never going to get over Animosity and Murderous Intent over Hostility and Killing Intent.

this anime needs a second season i think.
overall thoughts about this series; i think it was well executed either for the plot and the character development. this series is one of my fav series from bones too. i really like it a lot especially on the animation and soundtrack too. and i really like that they made the character build up for the starter and then start the real thing in the middle. it kinda gave me excitement xD

thought about this episode; i think reigen was amazing in this episode and looked so fucking badass as fuck in this episode. lol, i wish raigen has that kind of power too instead of a borrowed power from mob xD

so, anyway, overall, i enjoyed the show. 9/10 from me.
really hope for a second season tho...xD xD xD

It was a decent finale but it was a bit too comedy-focused for my taste. Ishiguro is nothing more than a caricature and Reigen is, well ... Reigen. Which is entertaining, but it doesn't make for a spectacular fight and it isn't nearly as emotional and thought-provoking as some of the previous episodes. I'm also not a fan of 100% Gratitude. It really is Mob running away from his powers, and although that is completely understandable given his pacifistic ideals and temperament (and given that he's just a child), I'd rather see him embrace them and the responsibility that comes with them.

All in all, though, it was a really good adaptation, which for me peaked in the Teru arc. BONES, you have my 100% Gratitude.

That was an unexpected resolution to the fight, but it was a welcome one. Reigen giving both a physical and verbal smackdown to Claw was great. Truly the one responsible adult in the show.

Ishiguro is even uglier than Psycho Mantis. That voice made me think there was going to be something decent underneath the mask.

Sho does badass shit.

That final animation definitely looks like something ONE would draw.

Great series. 8.5/10 for me.

I really want season 2 of this, but I guess I'll read the webcomic in the meantime.

Amazing finale to an amazing show!

It's really one of those shows which get better with each episode.

Reigen is incredible! It's been some time since we've had a character who is so all-out awesome and inspirational, like Kamina from Guren Lagann or Okabe from Steins;Gate.

8/10 just because it's only 13 episodes, I need to see more. Just when I grow attached to those characters, it;s over :(

Complete asspull with Reigen getting Mob's powers, I wasn't expecting it sure but it felt anticlimatic compared to episode 11's cliffhanger. Besides that the ending just felt like a standard "everything's back to normal, and some hype for a second season" schlock. At least we managed to get some character development out of these 12 episodes.

Episodes 5-8 were great, rest was pretty meh imo.

Mob's 100% seems to embody whatever emotion he is feeling at the time. Its not always a powerup - we have seen him use it to gain power, we have seen him use it to reflect a mindfuck, we have seen him use it to rebuild a whole school.

it makes sense that empathy and admiration of Reigen would transfer the power to Reigen for the duration of 100%

the fact that no matter what you do u would always stay part of average gray mass xD i am shocked though as it's totally against japanese perfectionism

Rofl that part when Sakurai told about his tragic past, being discarded by everybody and Reigen comapred it, with forgetting luch for school xD

Can't believe it's over :/ This was probably one of those animes that you don't know anything about it but when you watch it you realize it's a masterpiece.
Reigen was the MVP in the last episodes, i didn't expect this...i was expecting Mob to get crazy and destroy all of them xD But when he woke up and broke his sword i started laughing so hard and all that time that he was fighting i was laughing xD That was so unexpected and so epic that i didn't know what to say.
This is the 2nd time that the same Manga writer impressed me so much, he did an incredible job with OPM and now with Mob, i'm amazed on how great stories he can create.
Reigen is such a nice guy, i'm so impressed by him xD He kneeled them all by simply talking, what a boss :D
Definitely one of the best animes of this season and year.
Hope that they will make a 2nd season! Until then i better star reading the manga.
9~10/10.

Sure, nobody has it in him or her to be courageous all the time. But here his friends are in danger and Mob is incredibly powerful, and what does he do? He runs away. It's totally understandable, and it fits his personality perfectly, but I wouldn't say there's nothing wrong with it. Mob certainly is a nice change of pace from all those protagonists with endless courage, but that also means it's sometimes hard for me to get behind his choices.

Episode was indeed hilarious, thanks to Reigen ofc. Sly and evasive, as expected from Mob's master. He still gets under my skin tho. Ok, think I actually understand his role now after this episode.

It really got better in these last 3 eps.

Self preservation is the primary instinct of a human being.
The "superhero" culture glorifies the messianic self-sacrifice, but in real world, valuing others more than yourself is nothing but self-destructive. There's absolutely nothing wrong passing away self-sacrifice and responsibility. Its not something one has to accept all the time. If you save everyone, you never save yourself.

"protecting everyone" is only mature in a shonen. Not in reality. And this show is all about maturing

That moment when Reigen was trying to empathise with the sword dude was so hilarious, ONE's comedy at its best. Actually the whole thing with Reigen borrowing Mob's powers was really funny, but I guess in a way it wasn't as hype inducing as last episode led to believe.
Anyways, I also really liked how Ritsu's arc was wrapped up with him talking to the student council president and apologising to Onigawara who btw became such a good character.

So to summarise, it was a good ending to an excellent anime. Bones really outdid themselves this time, as I feel they elevated the manga to even greater heights. Sorry 91 Days, but this is my AOTS. Really hoping for a season 2 now.
8/10
5 main aspects I base my ratings on:
1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it?
2. Is it better than Breaking Bad?
3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it?
4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL?
5. Is it actually good?

Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant...

I guess I'll try to get this point across one last time, but at this point it's probably a waste of my time.

People really need to stop bringing up OPM. Just watch this show and enjoy it for what it is, instead of watching and thinking "oh this show does [this, this, and this] way better than OPM. OPM this, OPM that, OPM OPM OPM." Let the show build its own identity and appreciate it for what it does for itself, rather than constantly bringing up the pointless comparisons about what it does better or worse than OPM all the time. Maybe, just maybe, the reason why Mob does certain things better than OPM is because they're 2 completely different stories that are trying to do completely different things. It's a damn shame that this show will probably remain in OPM's shadow because so many people feel the need to mention it and compare it to this show whenever they get the chance.
People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime.

Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait.

MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol.

My favorite show this season and probably my third favorite of the year so far behind JoJo Part 4 and Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu.

I think Reigen might be my favorite character after this episode, though Mob is still right behind him.

Since OPM just got a second season I really hope this does too. Hopefully sometime next year so we don't have to wait very long.

Really good finale, despite them rushing the arc they managed to wrap things properly, especially Ritsu's conflict. Reigen showed why he's so based but my favorite character arc for him is still in S2. As a manga reader, I'm pretty satisfied with the adaptation.

Contender for AOTS with 91Days. Still waiting for that finale but so far I love both but 91 Days a little better but we'll see.

That ending. I didn't expected Reigen to be the one who would finally defeat Claw's 7th Division for good. He was totally awesome, instead of using Mob's powers to wreck them, he actually defeated them using his words. That was really hillarious to watch.
And the leader of the 7th Division was an old man after all... He get pretty rekted at the end.
It was sweet too knowing that Mob gave his powers to Reigen because he was grateful to him for his teachings. Even is Reigen is an hypocritical con man, he still cares for Mob after all, and we love him for this.

Nice to see in the epilogue that everything returned to normally after all. Hell, even the student council president became a better individual at the end. That scene made me happy, because I pitied him a bit in the previous episodes.

And before ending, we have a side story of Mob and Reigen hunting tsuchinakkos... and with that, ends the best anime of the season and one of the best of this year...

I hope Bones decides to make a season 2 one day... An anime as good as this mustn't end that easily.

Thank goodness. I'm so happy that Reigen's fine. I dislike cliffhangers like that when it comes to one of the characters I like (then again, I like many of the characters here). I also really love how awesome they made him look these past two episodes.

And also a sort of happy ending (in another cliffhanger-like way). I didn't expect that, but that's good! Hopefully everyone will continue to be fine, or at least everyone that I care about.

I'll give this an 8, like I gave One Punch Man. Very much enjoyed this one, as well.
