| The ending was cheesy... I'm fine with that coz Emilia is my favorite character in the story TBH despite the lack of exposure. I do hope there's a season 2 for this anime (if the content is sufficient of course). Too bad I didn't see Rem here in this episode... she was forgotten. :( I like her character. I didn't even see Ram too. |

| The show had it ups and downs, but it was way better than expected. First half was ok, second half was pretty good but the ending was just meh Overall 7.5/10 |
| This final episode was.. okay I suppose. Betelgeuse's sheer tenacity and determination after first being "killed" was entertaining. There could have been a more epic/exciting final heroic act for Subaru though, in my opinion. Strangely enough, I wish they'd ended on a more "uncertain" note too; not regarding Emilia and Subaru's relationship, but perhaps where the witch's power stands at the moment. Granted I have not read the LN or manga, so perhaps that wasn't covered at this point. Maybe was just a weird place for the finale? *shrug* Either way, there were some episodes and moments I thoroughly enjoyed throughout the series, so count me in for the eventual 2nd season. |

| Since I'm not reading the Light Novel of the series, I give this a 10/10 (bite me). If I did read it, then I'd probably give it a lower rating since it seems to pale in comparison to the Light Novel. Anyways, this was a great ending and I really loved the whole montage of Subaru's journey, and the very ending scene with him and Emilia. AHHhhhh that was sooo sweet :) Hoping for a second season, but who knows. |

| I've got mixed feelings on this show. There were some times like earlier in and the white whale fight when I found it pretty great, but the whole "Rebirth by Death" shtick got old fast. Basically, Subaru could screw up again and again and again, without any lasting consequences. While this can be fun to watch in a 90-120 minute movie like Groundhog Day or Edge Of Tomorrow, in a 25 episode series, it killed the tension worse than an overpowered MC because even the most inept person could eventually succeed. While I get that Subaru loves Emilia, I found her to be really dull. Not saying Rem is a complex character or that I ship her and Subaru because I don't, and to be fair, Emilia has a lot less screen time than Rem, but too often, Emilia felt like little more than motivation for Subaru. I'll give it a 7/10, but if it doesn't end up getting a S2, like some people here seem to be speculating, it'd be a 6 because of all the unanswered questions. |

| No they didn't. That whole thing should happen after the anime ending. And it wasn't the whale. Season 2 should start with that scene if they decided to make it. |

| I don't know anything from the light novel. So despite all the allusions to people saying that some shit will happen to Rem, i feel like the anime ended perfectly for a person who does not know the source material. I really, REALLY hope there is a Season 2 in 2018, this is too good not to receive one. |

| Episode was good but I didn't really feel much satisfaction in the ending, maybe due to Emilia (those 10 minutes were not really appreciable IMO) but the OST was amazing. Due to that, I feel it deserves a 3/5 IMO but I'll be generous and give it a 3.5 Overall, it was a fun ride. First half was underwhelming IMO whereas second half made up for it. I felt that this anime lacked in character depth (several of the characters feel just bland to me and...irrelevant. (There are only a few I truly cared about) but made up for it in setting, theme and plot. Don't get me wrong, it was a good anime but I feel it is really overrated (anyone else with me :l?). Still hoping there is a season 2 though, considering I've been hearing from WN readers that it gets really exciting from arc 4 onwards. This anime is a 7 or 7.5 in my books. | The only joy I experienced during this episode was hilariously discussing with a friend how poorly the show'll be wrapped up. Towards the end of episode 25 was the exact feeling I had while watching the first few episodes: zzz Sticking to it's dark atmospheric roots is where this anime truly stuck out but boy'o did it become utterly dull with its followup; Betelgeuse became unbearably obnoxious (even more so than Subaru at some points, hot damn) after one episode of him being introduced. Almost if not all of the mysteries I watched for were either lost or simply unresolved. And most importantly all that hype and setup for Emilia being a sneaky bitch didn't happen, I was lied to. On a serious note, everyone but Rem and arguably Subaru had the depth of a puddle. The plot was promising and there were even some episodes where I was taken aback at how well-executed they were - but after everything, if I wanted a cliche romance ending I would've suffered through Ao Haru Ride again. Here's to hoping there's a Season 2 but I can't say I'd be willing to watch if it's anything like season 1. |
I partially agree. Many of the characters lack depth including the main female herself. However IMO, Rem and Subaru were not the only ones developed. You could count Crusch and Wilhelm in that list too, but that's just my opinion. |

Due to her envy of the other witches, she devoured them and drained half the world dry. Also, considering what the cut-out scene actually was and what impact it had, I'm fairly certain its a legit reason to be salty about lol. |

| okay , i usually watch anime that has already finished airing , bt tis is one of few i watched, an episode a week is hard , the ending was pretty gud , maybe cuz i didnt read the light novel, but still wtf i hate it wen they dont explain shit!!, i mean like wats the whole puropse of everything if we wont get 2 know it, wat the hell is the witch, wat about roswaal?? isnt he a surprise villain?? were did elsa and vernhardt go??, they were pretty awesome, they really cud have made the ending much better , there wasnt even a scene after the credits. wat about ram? and puck wat about that creature puck turns into?? okay guys correct me if i'm wrong , when they go 4 the whale , there is a scene in which everyone 4gets about ram? y is that?? i mean like i watched the whole series and i still dont know , did i miss smething??? nw honestly i wudnt care 4 a second season , if they r gonna make it , they shld do it the right way, this anime was so awesome when it started out , but now its just a obligation. sigh!! |

| Ah it's finally over. Not the most satisfying ending ever, they had to get that ship sailing by the end, Emilia didn't have enough screen time or depth to become nearly as liked as Rem by the end though. Still good, and I enjoyed seeing this a lot. |

| Welp, if there isn't gonna be a 2nd season then I loose all hope for today's anime. This had all the potential to be the best anime of this decade but this ending is bunch of rushed shit. It just can't stop there. |

And even I like Rem, it's good to see Subaru and Emilia can make up, and Subaru confess his love to him, it's somewhat touched me, and the best quote is, "Will you be quiet? I'm trying to make myself look good." See you later all Re:Zero watcher. |

Better, i would say 2wei is definitely the best part of the series, 2wei herz is half filler but the second half is great as well. Expect some top quality fights that will make you go 'omg this is so good' just like that saber alter in S1 As for 3rei.. go with the manga. The plot points in 3rei gets really, really dark and serious [If you are a Fate fan, it's basically Heavens' Feel MK2] and the art is glorious but so far, the 3rei anime has been kind of a letdown to the source material. |

Which not unusual for a secondary character. This non-issue for a long running series whose plot-line is no where complete so anyone complaining about this rather pointless. I would think people have watching anime would know this. MC's always get their development spread over multiple arcs gradually. People need to stop pretending the story ended here already. it's not over by a longshot. Outside of Ram, all those characterized were well characterized not developed just like Emilia. Development as meaning personal growth. We know nothing but hints about their past which the story doesn't get into later. The same goes for Crusch. Betty gets her actual development in Arc 4 a long with Emilia. |

You're looking at a very tiny introduction. It isn't a cheap 12 or 24 episodes full story. It's only an introduction. Why do you want to know everything right off the bat? Giving every answer possible from the start destroys all kinds of suspens. It's just bad writing. I'm quite glad that this anime never did this. If you want answers, you'll have them arc 4 onwards. Oh well, this is a casuals type of show--unfortunately. So I suppose it's to be expected. ...Hm??? What do you mean by this? This isn't casual. |
