I was peeved because of the raid setup and how the semifinal took me by surprise when she nuked Squirtoria with her np. I'd rather they just make you fight her in her final form rather than gradually make you battle her weak to strong. Oh wasn't that easy? Here do it again. Nice, now try her a bit harder. Now F/GO has some really REALLY long VN style scenes that introduce a lot of story elements and expand on the pre-existing ones in all of the Nasuverse. The bits about Shiki and Void's powers' in the modern Nasuverse revealed in the KnK event and the origin of the Fuyuki Holy Grail ritual and Zouken revealed in the London chapter alone almost justifies the game's esistance by themselves. I don't think the medium really affects the game, as much as i initially though it would. Heck, GO's gameplay is more complex than Fate/Extra's ever was (which is not that hard to accomplish, to be fair) and has as much story content and we're not even done with it yet. I don't really view GO to be any different than say Extra or CCC. Heck, GO has the parallel timelines story element going for it which gives it a huge edge and potential IMO. F/GO go in some absurd routes sometimes, but i've yet to see a case where it's too absurd compared to what we already had before this game was even a concept. |

| J.Alter from the get go you could already tell she was insanely good. She's a critical monster and her NP hits hard especially if you chain it. She buffs the party and especially the dragon types. Squirtoria not only looks sexy but her NP damage and gain are insane. Party buff and emergency heal that isn't really even a detriment with her gain. Illya, well she hits hard and looks cute. Rubys enthusiasm and trolling is a nice bonus. |

Really, a few lines before and after each fight sums up how I perceived Grand Order up to now, so color me surprised. Was this already the case with the first events, or did the story became more and more substantial with the subsequent events ? That said, can you brief me on the current status of the translation project. I don't know how many main events and special events Grand Order has, so I can't tell if it's progressing well or not. Thanks to your thread, I noticed that a few projects were cancelled. What do you think about the ongoing "VN-ification" project ? Does this sound like a good idea, or would the viewers lose too much from it. Finally, Grand Order's story is set to end with the 7ᵗʰ Holy Grail War. I decided to do some yolo on the Illya gacha after completing the Fuyuki city including the free quests, and before going to stop playing it anymore, however, I got Illya after a few yolos. I'm not sure if I'll keep this new account with Illya or give it to someone again for free or something. |

| Finished the event. Until I got Chloe and a new phone, this event was hard to complete because of limited battery life. But afterwards, I beat the event with no trouble at all. I think the system for raids can be and still be better, but that's just me. Overall: Gilles: I killed him easily with Drake. Buffs from Ushiwaka and Artoria killed him dead. Diarmuid: Diarmuid was my hardest. Gae Dubhe was a pain in the ass to deal with, but with a right timed Okita Souji to the face, he went down after that. Phantom: Nursery Rhyme, Nitocris and Sanzang. That'll be all. Blackbeard: CLARENT BLOOD ARTHUR the fuck out of him and he's dead. Alternatively, use Brynhildr and she'll destroy him. Testament: See Gilles. Testament got harder on the last stage, but since I'm a #BasicBitch with the basic Mystic Code, evasion made sure that Drake did 500k-1mil damage per NP she did. That was the only way I could survive. Anyway, MVP's were:  Finishing the rest of the quests, and then doing the EMIYA family quest, then it'll be done! |

| Finally cleared all the quests. Found the raid system kind of tedious. Raids were all pretty easy. Didn't find Testament too hard. Medb and JAlter made short work of her. Kuro is just all around great. Once I finish Grailing Gilgamesh and Scathach, I'm probably gonna grail ascend her. She's probably the closest thing we're going to get to a decent Shirou/EMIYA (4* EMIYA is still super shit, unfortunately). |

The game first launched with 3 chapters (0-2); Fuyuki (A.D. 2004), Orleans - France (A.D. 1431) and Septem - Morocco (A.D. 0060), and they focused more on the introductions, world building and the interactions between the different Heroic Spirits, so they were relatively light on actual story progression. The later chapters began to focus on story more and more with each new chapter, like Chapter 4: Clock Tower - London (A.D. 1888), the villian was revealed and we got a lot of info about the origin of Magecraft and Age of Gods and the reason the world ended. In Chapter 6: Crusades on Ancient Egypt and Persia - Camelot (A.D. 1273), we learn a lot more about Matthew Kyrielite (Shielder) and get ready for the final confrontation with the villian in Chapter 7: Babylonia - Mesopotamia (B.C. 2655). Without spoiling much, that's the structure of the game so far. Nasu originally intended F/GO to be a two parter (near-side and far-side), but he was afraid the game won't be successfull enough to warrant a sequel, but after the game's success (probably TM's biggest financial success ever), he hinted that F/GO 2 is planned. As @kei78 said, chapter 7 is supposed to be released by the end of this year. We don't know if F/GO would be a brand new story campaign in the existing game, or a new game all-together yet. As @ShadowfrostZen said, the translations are scattered here and there. There's no single place where you cn consume all of the story in English, unfortunetly. I think F/GO is great to follow as an ongoing TM story. It's been really great seeing the story unfold with each chapter and experiencing that with the community.
