You'll see some Star Platinum action. As for why he didn't use it at the end of this episode, I think he needed to analyse the situation and monitor Kira's abilities, since he doesn't know what he's capable of. For all Jotaro knew, he could've had abilities that could counter Time Stop. Also Star Platinum can only manage freeze time for a couple of seconds, so Jotaro can't accomplish a lot. |
| Oh my God this episode was the fucking bomb, pun very much intended. I cried like a baby when Shigechi got blown to literal bits, and then cried some more when his ghost tried reaching for the sky, writhing and screaming in agony. I had been spoiled about him dying so I thought I was mentally prepared for whatever was to come, but no one fucking told me how excruciatingly painful his ordeal was going to be. The first ten minutes of this ep. were probably the most shocking I've watched this season or even this year, and Josuke perfectly described how Shigechi's demise made me feel deep inside. He was a little punk, but he didn't deserve any of this. That being said, I can't really bring myself to hate on his murderer, because he might turn out to be the most disturbingly entertaining JoJo villain to date. Move aside, DIO: Kira is now officially in the house. I got chills when that shot came up. DP couldn't have made him any more threatening. |

This has been explained in previous posts by other users, don't you read what others write? In episode 1 of part 4 Jotaro said that he can only use the world time stop ability for 1-2 seconds max, which wouldn't have given him enough time to go and snatch Kira behind the door, thus getting caught up in the explosion from that mini tank in the shop keeper's mouth. Jotaro doesn't like taking risks, he's always been like that. |

| lovedlovedLOVED this episode. Killer Queen got the glorious look it deserves. As much as he is a little asshole, Shigechi's death always hits me in the feels. It did in the manga and with the music it definitely did in the anime as well. I mean, no matter what you think of him he didn't deserve THAT. |

What I meant was that now that he's a seasoned stand user after going through all those battles and fights in part 3, he doesn't rush in blind. I guess he did take risks before but there were loads more moments where he was attentive/calculative and in part 4 so far he's been careful too with the way he goes on about his business. |

He has to use his ability to make it as a trigger for his bomb, and he probably didn't that because he's really methodic and would do that in a more ritualistic way: after finding a new "lover", as we saw in the ending. |
| The high school girls are horrible human beings, they don't even notice the poor boy has been beaten to death? Shigechi, a middle-school boy, being murdered was unexpected. The music helped a bit on his final moment. The gathering of almost all the "good" Stand users citizens was nice. It made me realize I kind of like the gang this time too. Why exactly isn't Jôtarô's first reaction to the button to give it the Hermit Purple treatment? Is he too old now to rely on his grandfather abilities? Also, what was Kira doing in the backroom of the shop? 3.5+/5 No ugly drawing every minute this time! I'm satisfied to have discovered where"Boomer" (Hunter X Hunter) comes from. |

Not necessarily. there's a lot of death scenes i've came across reading manga that affected me deeply, it's just about how you portray the event. it may be harder for manga artists to touch readers when it come to emotional scenes compared to studios, since anime has many factors that can make the task easier such as: soundtrack, voice acting. but talented manga artists can manage to make you emotional reading their panels. |

| Shigechi's death has to be one of the saddest ones yet. Even if we take Caesar's, at least he was fighting, same case with almost any other Jojo death (the only exception I can think of is Josuke's grandpa) But damn, Shigechi was only looking for his sandwich. Quite the case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. |
