The episode was alright, loved the character chemistry as usual with the main girls getting together for their group. Ruby got a good amount of highlight and spirit this episode, I wonder if the series will feature the main girls each episode in some way. Quite a fun episode. |

| Nice episode, Rubi and Maru join the team. Hanamaru really become Rin in Aqours. We can see all of the fan art about Dia was fangirling is true. Still we haven't know cause her to hate school idol. Next episode! YOHANE! Oh, that Dia is really beoming Student Council because of Eri. And it seems others theory is true, 3rd years have once tried to make idol club, but fail. The proof is in the new Idol club room, maybe. |

| Hanamaru and Ruby have joined, I was a bit worried that Hanamaru wouldn't join just yet though, but the power of Rin compelled her, Yohane, the fallen angel will join next episode and it looks to be a hilarioys episode to boot. |

| Ruby and Hanamaru are cute as fck. Love the fact that Hanamaru was like "Look at this goddess, I could never be like her" when she's looking at Rin's picture. When actually Rin was insecure of herself until that very picture. Also confirmed this is taking place after everyone from µ's is way pass highscool that means Nozomilf is a thing that exist and I want to see it. |

| Excellent episode, Just as charming as the others and it was fairly nostalgic for me as well. All those pictures of Muse performances in the magazines made me quite nostalgic. Couldn't help but chuckle when Ruby and Dia were picking best girls from Muse XD Classic Stairs running and rooftop training made me smile :) Ruby and Hanamaru were so adorable this episode <3 , Lovely friendship they have going. Both of them are so considerate of each other. Interesting comparison of Rin and Hanamaru who both had doubts as to whether they would be able succeed as idols. I always grin when the girls put their hands together and do the chant :3 'Yohane descends', I love the episode title already xD |

| Yeah, i think this series happened around 3-4 years after the original Love Live, Dia was still in junior high when she followed Muse. Oh my that Hanamaru, such an angel, much like Rin i guess. |
| IM CRYINGG IM CRYINGGGG IM SERIOUSLY AM CRYING THIS LOVE LIVE SUNSHINE EPISODE PUNCHED ME IN THE FACE AND IM CRYING She got me...Hanamaru is probably going to be my favorite! How dare they punch me in the feels and tell the story of what made Rin so special!! I really love a girl that has doubts, but is a kind selfless sweetie deep down, and I really relate to that. And when they symbolized Hanamaru's feelings, it was pretty much what Rin's Love Wing Bell is all about! The nostalgia was handled properly and I love how they used Rin's example as inspiration to keep them going. |

| I'm not an avid book reader, but Maru's backstory really moved me. I feel like there's probably a lot of people who would find her situation to be relatable. She's basically convinced herself that books are all she needs but in reality she subconsciously craves more from life. Maybe I relate to in a much more general sense. I've often convinced myself that things are fine the way they are but every so often I feel like I could do more with my life. I love that statement that Chika makes towards the end of the episode. You shouldn't bother yourself with thoughts about whether or not you can do something. What really matters is 'Do you want do it?' This episode was fun and cute as always but I really liked the underlying message. There really isn't enough anime out there with really nice, positive messages. There's so many shows where they just throw dramatic conflict in as a means to extend the episode's running time rather than using it prove a point or at least get an emotional reaction from the audience. Seeing such a popular series handle it so well brings a smile to my face. If you're okay with sub 10K sales you can just go with the motions like Cinderella Girls. But if you want to shoot for the stars you have to try harder. And I think it's great that a series like Love Live can come along and prove that being completely boring and safe, while a guaranteed way to get decent sales, is not always the best way to go if you want to make a popular series. |

| I love how they gave focus to Rin here. It says a lot since self-esteem issues are still something girls will always struggle with, whether it be when they're already in an idol group (Rin) or staying cooped up in your comfort zone (Hana-chan). Rin was my favorite girl next to Maki and I'm glad she's getting more love. I want to see the rest of the girls decide on who are their favorite girls from Muse. Ruby having Hanayo and Dia having Eri is painfully obvious. xD (Let's include Hana-chan with Rin, too, lol) |
| I really enjoyed Hanamaru and Ruby’s backstories as well as the development they got in this episode. I also liked how some of the parallels between the members of Aqours and µ’s were acknowledged. Since Aqours was announced, people haven’t stopped comparing the characters and saying that they were the same, and I think this episode adressed this very well. Dia is an Eli fan, Ruby is a Hanayo fan, Hanamaru feels inspired by Rin, and it’s true that they have some things in common. That’s why they relate to them in the first place. But if you truly compare them, it’s not difficult to see that they are also very different. |

| Based on Hanamaru's flashback, I think I know why she's saying "zura" all the time. It's either part of her dialect or it's because she's a big book worm and one of her favourite characters in some book is saying that word all the time, thus the reason why she also says it all the time. I wasn't really a big fan of Rin in the original Love Live but I am beginning to like Hanamaru way more than Rin. In original Love Live, (my) best girl was Honoka, Nico, Maki and Umi In Sunshine, (my) current best girl so far is Chika, You, Hanamaru and Mari All in all, 5/5 for this episode. | It would be better if they could totally let go of the original series and stand on its own. Hanamaru's zura = rin's nya Hanamaru wearing dog shirt(like, shes the dog same as rin being the cat) Can they think of something more original? Ruby = hanayo, shy idol loving girl, and upon seeing wiki. she likes potatoes just like hanayo loves her rice. In short she'll be your potato loving school idol for the rest of season who does nothing but glorify potatoes Dia = eli... *sigh* Mari = potential aizen/nozomi And they meeting place is a rooftop again... And the 5th episode, just like the previous series, will be a nico episode. And also, how many they have to show us rin's pic? | i see many people think that Dia form the school idol when she's in her second year and at that time Muse also win Love Live! but as long as i remember.. Muse win the Love Live during the second competition.. the first group to win the Love Live is A-Rise remember? and the book also stated that it is the 5th Year anniversary.. meaning that Love Live Sunshine happen after 3 - 4 years Muse disband.. i dont think that the current Third Year form school idol when Muse still performing.. |
