We all know that everyone here loves Anime/Manga, but let's hear what else you fine folks are into!

I'm a huge gamer myself. Love the RPG's! And I'm also currently learning piano.

I'm into music, actually more than I'm into anime/manga. I download [too much] but I do buy CDs from artists I like ^^' So, you could say my hobby is listening to music, finding new artists, and downloading.

Other than that, I guess I have school, not too fun though. I play the drums at times, and I go horse riding when my mum makes me. But hey, she gives me sushi if I help her with the horses xD

I love trance music if that wasn't blatantly obvious. I like kung fu movies and fantasy novels. Umm comics are cool and I like to fish. I wish I knew how to play the piano. One day maybe...

I've actually never been fishing before. Hopefully I will this year though!

tranceotaku, do you like Prodigy? They are an amazing band!

Piano is actually quite easy to pick up and learn. I'm currently learning to play "Mad World" by Gary Jules. Fairly easy.

Ah, playing the piano is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon~

If I had more game consoles at home, I'd be spending a lot of time on video games (RPGs~). Unfortunately, I lack the money to buy many of the games I'd like, so I revert to computer puzzle games and MMORPGs.

Reading fantasy novels is fun too, but I think I devote more time to role-playing. The character creation process takes me a while, but the overall experience is always entertaining.

I'm glad you also enjoy the RPG's Kurai ;)

Have you tried the MMORPG "Perfect World"? It's one of the best free games I've played and it has 2 free expansions out now!

Ahaha, what a coincidence. I started playing Perfect World International a couple weeks ago and it's hard to stop.
The extent of customization for character creation is wonderful. ^^

@violentos Yeah man Prodigy is really good. It grows on you for sure. Dude Mad World is a really good song. I heard it first on Donnie Darko and have loved it since.

One day I'll try to pick up the piano.

@KuraiSakura So tabletop gaming eh? Well I listen to a podcast called Fear the Boot and I have been wanting to try and flesh out a Gundam tabletop adaption type game. Hopes and dreams. What campaign are you in at the moment?

@psygol I really wanted to play soccer when I was young. I suck at it lol

I play soccer, listen to rock and metal music, play video games (current favourites are MGO, Valkyria Chronicles and Killzone 2, despite the fact I'm generally not fond of FPS and JRPG's haha), and I like to be creative thus I make random novels on the computer, design games on it, even some movie scripts etc.

Those are my hobbies, basically, haha.

My passions outside of anime/manga are reading, writing, and playing/watching tennis. That's how I'm 'celebrating' Easter--going to go hit around with my husband at the local high school. Oh how it gets my blood pumping and my competitive nature screaming to life (but I'm not a bad sport, I just like to do my best.)

The reading isn't too much of a surprise, as I'm a librarian in my daily life.

I also enjoy some video gaming. I play City of Heroes pretty frequently, and I'm a big fan of games like Sims 2, Harvest Moon, and Civilization. I like DDR, but look like a total dweeb as I have no sense of rhythm at all.

I LOVE Harvest Moon! Ever since I played Harvest Moon 64, I've played every title since (minus some GBA titles) including the original before it. I also enjoy the spinoff, Rune Factory. I want to play the new Rune Factory for Wii, but it's $70 right now in Canada... And I'm cheap!

I keep forgetting about Rune Factory--it looks like fun. As much as I enjoy them, I've still never completed the 2 Harvest Moon games I have (one for the DS and the Tree of Tranquility on the Wii). On the other hand, my husband decided to pick up the DS one a week or two ago and has already finished it, and last night started to play my ToT. Never saw him getting addicted to them, he's more of an RPG guy.

@tranceotaku: Tabletop gaming? If you're referring to my mention of role-playing, I'm afraid I'm not a tabletop gamer. ^^" The most I've ever done was watch a group of my friends during a Dungeons & Dragons campaign.

Mylene - Ya, my roommate who originally laughed at the premise of Harvest Moon watched me play Tree of Tranquility and started playing it. He ended up beating the game before me, and that game takes a long time to complete! I was surprised.

I love to bake and cook! This past Christmas I discovered the fun of candy making and am trying to perfect a chocolate truffle recipe (almost there, just need to get the amount of filling right so that just one doesn't knock people over from the richness).

I used to be very into video games, but less so these days. As long as we were talking about Harvest Moon, Rune Factory was terrible, but Rune Factory Frontier is supposed to be great. Island of Happiness was also terrible though.

I play drums in a band and do the songwriting, but I also play guitar, bass, piano, most string orchestra instruments, and a wide variety of wind ensemble instruments. I also do some amateur photography, and listen to a lot of indie and scene music. When I go to California, I like to windsurf.

Obsessed greatly with music. As of right now I have about 60000 songs on the computron. Need any recommendations Im your man.

Video games, been playing them since I was 3 years old. Played WoW for 2 years, AoC for 6 months and Warhammer for 6 months. I am done with MMO's. Until at least diablo 3 comes out.

I love going to concerts, and st.louis is a great area for it. Just saw 3rd Eye Blind last night for free actually lol.

Other than that its basically just getting out for a night on the town. St.louis is known for its drinking. And yeaaa we drink alot.

Some call me "The God Of Boredom", and it is very much true :-)

Same here, an absolute music junkie through and through. I go to tons of shows, from festivals and major concerts to just the local shows. It doesn't matter what type of music either because I like a little bit of everything.

Probably on the same level as music, I'm into art as well. But I guess music is art so it all makes sense. I paint, draw (many different mediums), I do crafts, and I love seeing others art.

Actually, I have so many freakin hobbies its ridiculous! shopping (yes, that is a hobby), interior decorating, cooking, reading, cinema, and so on...

Things I'm learning; This past winter I started snowboarding a bit. I hope to get all my own gear before next snowfall so I can shred without worrying about busting my friends shit. I'm also currently learning to make my own purses.

Things I will be learning this summer; stained glass and to crochet.

You should! Well, I can't speak for skiing but snowboarding is so much fun. You really can't be worried about embarrassing yourself though.

The first time I ever went they only had lifts and rope tows. Let me tell you, rope tows are bullshit! they're more for the skiers and so are difficult as hell to use on a snowboard. Because of that, when I went, I had to skip the small (bunny) hills altogether. So here I am going down this massive hilly slope eating white shit every ten feet. It was so much fun and I seriously did not know my body could twist the way it did.

It eventually got easier though. I found out that I was riding wrong. I ride goofy but when I started I was trying to ride regular. Also, drinking helps a lot too :P

Holy shit, I must say, that's ridiculously impressive, lmao.
But what kinds of music do you like? Ahaha, sorry, I'm just such an avid fan of music who continuously expands her library.

As for me, besides running off into the little world of anime and manga, I find great joy in arguing with people for some reason. Especially those that actually have some sort of a brain.
Taekwondo also takes up much of my time, as well as reading, writing, and drawing.

J/K Outside of anime, I play video games (Rock Band and Star Ocean right now), make chain and scale maille, role play, and play my bass guitar in a small band.

Speaking of, if there are any people here in the Denver/Boulder Colorado area who play guitar, drums, keyboard, or can sing, I'd like to put together some sort of ensemble to play rock compositions of anime themes and the like. If you're interested, send me a message! ^_^

Good electronica would be awesome, I'm afraid I've found it all but it seems like you may have looked even harder than me, haha.
And personally, my hobbies are nothing other than terribly generic. I like reading, sleeping, baking/cooking, chemistry (though I'm no scientist. there are just certain chemicals I've become quite knowledgeable on over the years) and painting. Though, I'm gradually drifting into other fine arts, I've been painting for my entire life now. So it's always gonna be my favorite.
