Nice :3

I'm doing fine I guess. Was busy programming again yesterday. Changed a bunch of things, and added protected ajax requests. Now I'm just sitting here thinking what I could do to best handle these requests, if possible without having to use seperate code for normal requests :3

Still hard working I see :3

I'm currently busy with a FitNesse test which I didn't write that doesn't work anymore since the last update and I don't know why x)
My programming teacher definitely didn't lie... 90% of programming is looking at errors :P

Yeah pretty much xD

I was adding ajax support because I needed a way to make the register form tell you whether or not a username has already been used without having to first send the form. I got the requests working, now I just need to make it return something other than a predefined success/error message without having to request the entire page :3

While trying to validate the security token etc it of course returned some errors before I got it working xD

I always only used the AJAX functionality that was given by the chosen framework, I try to avoid JavaScript as much as possible xD
Reading your problems only strengthens my belief in that approach ^^

I use the tokens on all POST requests so that's not something unique to ajax :P
When ajax gets annoying is when you have to use it to retrieve something in an extremely roundabout fashion even though it would be very easy to do if only you had access to php xD
I had to do that at the previous company I worked at. Had to create a product sale timer for on the homepage. Since this can't be done on the backend, I had to use ajax to retrieve products from a predefined category, and then make the timer use javascript to count which one product is currently on sale by using start date, interval per product and number of product variables.
Then, since a page of a category is limited to max 24 products (or less if defined), I also had to wrap it in an infinite scroll request loop. (limited to about 3 pages because otherwise I'd get a too many requests error)
And last but not least that resulted in the problem that responses from ajax requests are isolated from the rest of the code, so they can't interact or even detect one another.

In the end I had to write like 300 lines of javascript to get it all working :P

That sucks, I can see why it was your previous company xD
Never got that deep into JavaScript to do stuff like that, though in my current project we have a lot of JS so I might have to dig in a bit deeper now :P

On another note, does anybody have a good Jibril picture for my profile? Can't really find a good one at work ._.

Well, that's only one of multiple reasons. Another reason is simply the kind of clients they got where always the kind I don't like, the customer service of the cms system used was constantly screwing us over, and the company itself is a bit unreasonable in what it asks of you.
I already worked 6 days a week (3 there, 3 here), and yet they would still have me work extra in the evening and even on the 1 day off I have. I don't know about you, but I like to have at least some time for myself xD

What kind of jibril picture are you looking for? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Yeah I hate those kind of companies, which is why I like my current one so much. They are all very chill in here :3

Sexy ones of course, similar to my current one :>

Pretty good, I'm back to my at-least-two-episodes-a-day plan and it's working out quite well :3
Though I probably will not have much time to watch animu this weekend T_T
