I watched an Oscar ceremony once and I felt my life slipping through my fingers during the few hours I wasted on that. I was weirded out by some camera angles, the almost impossible positions some characters put their heads in, the colors and the strange humor. But after a couple episodes I got used to them, and it was so worth it. It's fascintaing how they bombard you with loads of seemingly random dialogues, and then they throw some deep, dark stuff at you and it all makes sense. It's like every piece of dialogue slightly hints you to the solution of the current arc's problem. I don't really care about the fanservice stuff, but I think the characters are good overall. Maybe the little girl's appearences were a bit random after her problem resolves, but I didn't dislike her. Hitagi's personality and the situations she partakes in are hilarious. Lastly, I specially liked Oshino. The music didn't appeal much to me, but I loved the videos from the different openings, specially the one starring Hitagi. I think they were pretty fitting for each part. So, all in all, I think it was awesome, and, as I told Harus, I have high spectations for the rest of the series too. |

I'll start Nise tonight if there aren't any more blackouts lol Haha you are right about that part, it's like when I was a kid and watched some episode of Power Rangers in which they met a previous generation xD I think that scene was beautiful. Of course the last pieces of diogue you can find in almost any show, but when Hitagi explains the meaning of bringing Koyomi to that place is really worth watching. |

The way they gain access to the servants' power is Sakura Card Captor all over again. I guess the setting can be interesting for a Fate enthusiast, as it shows another possible reality which the Holy Grail Wars led to. Personally, I think it's fanservice for all those who wanted the Illya route. |

Ah, I had totally forgotten about Tsukihime. Yes, I've read and fully completed stay night and hollow ataraxia, plus Tsukihime. I didn't like Tsukihime that much though... Every route looked like just an excuse to get to the H-scenes with the main heroines. I was pretty dissapointed on that one. |

As I said, HF is quiet lengthy, and I seriously doubt you can summarize all of it in just one movie. Well, maybe if it's a Lord-of-the-Rings-long movie. I just hope they don't butcher it like Deen did with the UBW movie. |

All in all, I think I'll give it 8.5 Gaes out of 10 haha As a funny note, I was actually typing this last night, but I accidentally pressed something and I went backwards on my browsing history, losing everything. I was so pissed I went to bed XD |

It's true I'd rather watch it without the fear of someone walking into my room and seeing Kanbaru strip (or something much worse lol), but I wasn't bored at all. I liked Bake more, but Nise was great nonetheless. This series is like a person who tells you their grandparents just died and immediately makes a joke about it and just laughs the whole thing off. And I like that. No matter how heavy the subjects they touch may be, it's not long before the current episode makes me laugh once again haha. And about the tooth brush scene... I couldn't stop thinking "what the hell am I watching" (stronger language might have been used) as I laughed almost to tears. I sure wasn't expecting that hahahaha |
