Fate/Labyrinth is even doing better than prototype ? that is great. Simplo said: I wonder if all those Fate spin-offs are worth reading, or are they just cash-grabs. Fate/Protorype and Labyrinth are great and Sakurai is talented writer and Fate/Strange Fake is one of the best in the series. |

Fab to see the Monogatari Series still selling incredibly well, long may it continue. Kinda don't want it to end as long as it keeps it's exceptionally high quality. DOWL Masters just reaching 10k, shame it's not more, come on Yen Press hurry up and license this! KonoSuba and Grimgar (which I should check out) showing first stages of anime boost. Will be intersting to see how they along with those series with no visible boost end up at the seasons end. |

People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime. Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait. MAL is literally just anime Twitter as its own website lol. |

For me this is one of the top animes this winter the first 2 episodes were hilarious iam only sad cuz it will have only 11episodes wish it had more or atleast someday a 2nd season for it. Anyway lets hope the anime did the trick and gave a good boost to the source material so i can hope for some more seasons out of it^^ |

I'm sorry it might not have been good way to put it. It is selling well compared with average LN and most likely bringing money for publisher. I meant obscure as not on the radar of average Japanese nerd population yet as of now. |

Hrm, nothing really sticking out to me this week. I don't have any LN adaptions I'm into this season. hpulley said: WhiteFlamee said: 20 books out already and 2 more on the way. I'm a super fast reader, so 20 books should be no problem for me. I did finish the last HP book in about a day. I picked up the EN release of Kizu the other day, totally loving it. I hope they'll continue with the EN releases cause I'd love to collect them all! I may settle for fan translations until they get published though. The books will at least continue until the author passes away, but I'm sure he's still got plenty of life in him! He may get tired of writing the stuff, but if James Patterson can keep writing Maximum Ride books I'm sure Nisiosin can keep going! |

I guess it just got lucky, it feels like it's mostly trying to push Toho's new music division more than anything really so it's weird they'd go with something that's not very popular, not to mention they picked Nakamura's team for the job, instead of going for some more well established director, so it's like, it's weird, I wonder too. |

During the first week after first episode aired, Rakudai Vol 1 added about 5k and most likely another 6k during the next week. 23. *4,819 *52,488 Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry Vol.1 I estimate Rakudai Vol 1 is almost 80k by now. Too bad it looks like Rakudai's boost is finally over now. oh so that's how it was. Thanx. No wonder Kadokawa keeps making more LNs like these & give them 1 cour tv anime Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut and Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry are both GA Bunko, which is owned by Softbank, not Kadokawa, by the way. gotcha. Looked more into GA bunko - softbank and it has DanMachi, oda nobuna no yabou, etc. Nice. ichii_1 said: March 2, the author already finished it a while ago, but the publisher is delaying it for some reason. Maybe a season 2 announcement with it? XD more than likely, lol. I doubt anybody expected Overlord to get this big. |
Imagine a berserk anime by Yoshiaki kawajiri at Madhouse. Now take a look at Berserk (2016). YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION TO CRY. |

Let's just see if either KonoSuba or Bahamut can sell over 100k total in the first month of anime airing or 150k total in 2 months or 200k total in 3 months, which was how much Rakudai accomplished. For now both of them are doing better than Asterisk did. |

It sells amazingly. Fans love it. Why would they stop? It still sells very well, over 25K for Owarimonogatari. I'm not sure it will ever get low enough to stop making it, even if Owari 2 drops to 20K it would be worth making it. But it is not making what it sold as Bakemonogatari and Nisemonogatari once did so it has dropped a lot. It is way more than most other anime so it is probably still safe but my point is more that I don't think they imagined 22 or more volumes coming out when they made that promise. So unless there is something else Aniplex and Kodansha wants to make you're right, they are probably good. Just hard to believe with already about 80 episodes made of the franchise. Josuke-kun said: NisioisiN is quite young so that won't be a problem. He is still writing 6 novels a year unless I'm missing some. 3 of them will be Monogatari this year. Game of Thrones, no new book since 2011? Japan's writers are so prolific by comparison. Hrm, nothing really sticking out to me this week. I don't have any LN adaptions I'm into this season. hpulley said: WhiteFlamee said: i will check monogatari soon ... The books may well continue forever but I wonder if the promise to animate the whole thing will be kept that long. I'm not sure if NisioisiN would be allowed to stop making more while it is making money unless Okitegami Kyouko is making even more money or something. |

'Insert Madhouse doesn't make sequels here' I'd be up for Vol 4's movie adaption like some people were saying.Would transition well enough.(Need the chair meme to be animated, doesn't feel right) |
