| Pretty good, better than the first chapter of the manga which was straight up boring. The chase scene with the dog was like half the episode though and that's just too damn long for one thing. The revelation was better here than in the manga as well, but it didn't "hit me" in either medium. There's a solid chance this will surpass the manga, depending on how it's adapted. |

Its not that I was caught off guard by this series but I sort of felt a sense of unease throughout the entire episode. Anyone that paid attention would've quickly noticed that the side characters were acting a bit weird (carrying shovel, talking about kill ratios) and that something was wrong here thanks abandoned feel of the school. The visual hints like broken window panes and the writing on the board in the pic above convinced me that the things we say from the pink haired girl's perspective might have been delusions. Anyways I still couldn't help but pity her towards the end of the episode. 5/5 |

| This anime is pretty wacky enough to leave me stunned in the final, I have to ask whether this series will be something intriguing or great stupidity? Hard to tell. Drawings pretty good, nice but also a little disturbing narrative, only the final explains the reasons. OP and ED nice. I'm really curious to see how the story continues. |

| First when I started it I thought of how cute it was and that this definitely would be my feel good anime to watch. I felt something was slightly off especially the thing with the wind blowing but wow I was totally blown away by the end of the episode. I literally got shudders down my spine. It starts off really good. |

| Daaamn. I already knew that it was about moe loli zombie apocalypse, but the transition still managed to creepy me out and surprise me. That was super well done. Sooooo, ummm... Is Yuki schizophrenic? She seem to be the only one who really see the ''old school'' while everyone just play her game. In any way, that's rather creepy. I do hope it escalate in term of intensity. It was a great start. |

| That start compared to that ending! Oh boy that sure was impressive, at first I thought that this would be quite an interesting anime based upon the cover art, but then the beginning up till that end was almost too cute and slice of life stylish, but boy did that rapidly change! Let's see what this anime will offer us but I'm sure am thrilled! |

| I read a little bit of the manga back then, so I knew what to expect, and it made me pay more attention to a lot of the subtle hints left in the episode. This episode was very well done, very well adapted, smooth transition, fitting animation, nice soundtrack and all. If this keeps up, it could very well be my anime of the season. Oh yea, there is another character you guys should pay attention to too. |

| I've read online that this was a good series. That sudden transition from school life MOENESS to a zombie apocalypse is just... wow. I guess Yuki (obviously) is suffering from PTSD and has withdrawn from reality. I feel sorry for her. I like the shovel girl Kurumi and the blondie, Miki. |

| Started watching not knowing what it was (well, I looked at the genres, and was told that it's not what it looks like). As i'm watching i'm thinking "hmmm, i know this feeling", then I saw that creepy text on the board: "Is it Higurashi??", then ending happend: "It is Higurashi". Since it's my favorite anime, I have high hopes for this series and end up liking it more than I should. |

| I read the MAL synposis and knew it was gonna be about zombies. Before the reveal I'd thought that the whole school was safe, and class was still going for the students while outside was the apocalypse, but never would I have thought that everyone was dead except for the 4 of them. Geez, the part where Yuki was "talking to her classmates" broke me. The way her smile was juxtaposed with a and broken, empty classroom chilled me. Man, this episode was great. |
