@lupa, this was never about solving the riddle(hoping that by problem you meant the riddle) , I simply posted it for fun.(Wordplay)

Of course they both weigh the same.(Same Mass, Pounds is a unit of mass)

I didn't say SI unit.
KG is the SI unit.
Pound is just another unit of mass used in US.

The concept of pounds was unknown to me, I assumed it was some dumb American way to measure weight, anyway, I did some research on what it actually is. It looks like one pound of gold is measured differently from other materials, so the feathers would weigh more.

... Then again, that's not really a "riddle", it's more like a general knowledge question.

Correct...

Also in America we use kilograms to measure mass. Pounds in America =mass * acceleration due to gravity. I just finished a physics class like two months ago :/

Pound(mass)

Pound(force) is Pound(mass)*g

A cowboy visits an inn on Sunday. He spends two days there, and leaves on Sunday. How is that possible?

The cowboy travels on a horse, and the horse is called Sunday.

I don't know any riddles, anyone can come up with the next one ~

Bob and Fred are both construction workers who met each other at the bar after work. A strange man walked in and sat at table 1, while Bob and Fred sat at table 4. Bob and Fred attempted to guess what sort of job he had, after which they gave up upon until Bob decided to sit on table 1 opposite of the stranger. Bob asked "If you don't mind me asking, what is your job?". The man said, "I am simply a logical scientist". Not truly understanding he asked "What is that"? The man then said "Let me explain, do you have a gold fish?"
Bob: Yes, I do
Man: Well then it's logical to assume that you keep it in a pond or bowl, which is it?
Bob: I keep it in a pond
Man: Then it's logical to assume that you have a large garden, and in turn a large house.
Bob: Yes I have a 6 bedroom house which I built myself
Man: Given that you have such a large house, it's logical to assume that you are married
Bob: Yes, I'm married and we have three children
Man: Then it's logical to assume that you have a healthy sex life
Bob: Five nights a week!
Man: Therefore it's logical to assume you don't masturbate often
Bob: Nope, never!
Man: Well there you go, from finding out that you have a gold fish, I figured out the size of your garden, house, family and sex life. That is the logical scientist at work!
Bob: Wow gee, I never knew

Bob then left and returned to table 4 where Fred was sitting.

Fred: Did you find out what his job was?
Bob: Yea, he's a logical scientist, let me explain. Do you have a goldfish at home?
Fred: No.
Bob: _______________

What was the "logical assumption" that Bob made?

Then it is logical that Bob and Fred does not live in the same house? (Though Bob should allready know this)

One of the possibilities could be the number itself (that would be 10) followed by a random sequence of other digits :P

I would like another number as well. It's dificult to find a pattern with only 2 numbers :/

Well the solution is:

Assuming that A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, and so on.

1 = O N E
O = 15, N = 14, E = 5, thus 15145
The same goes for the other numbers I listed. You'd use that logic for 10.

This question has infinite number of places he could start from.
If you have figured out the simple solution, try to find the infinite solutions. :)

@Zymf I think it would be better if there are 2 questions to solve at a time, because when people are stuck solving one question, the second question will keep the thread active. What do you say?

Maybe.. or it could even more than 2 questions to solve at a time. - I just don't want people to spam the thread with new questions and not even try to solve the old ones :/
For now I will keep the rules as they are, but any opinions/ideas are welcome :D

Time to post a new riddle :D!
Sitting at a square table are a smuggler, a mafia boss, a bootlegger and a contract killer.
Only two of these men, Mama and Kalia, are genuine criminals. The other two are CID officers posing as criminals.
Mama is sitting opposite the Mafia boss; the junior CID officer is sitting to the left of the smuggler and the senior CID officer is sitting opposite the bootlegger. If the senior officer is not playing the role of a smuggler what is the junior officer disguised as ?
