| Do you guys on MAL see any point in having a gf? (there will always be someone better than you and is there a point in trying so hard just to maintain a relationship) I am at a point where I don't really feel like having a relationship but just a girl without the whole asking out dating thing. (sort of a friends with benefits, didn't want to use that as its kind of crude but there is nothing else) I am kind of confused now as to what I should feel. So please give your input everyone. |

"Girlfriend" is just a term that indicates to others that the relationship is romantic in nature. I think both terms are labels, honestly. Sounds like what you are looking for is a relationship but without all the formality and pressure. |

For me it's a case to case basis that lies more on other factors such as how committed you are, and you/your girl's character as a whole. Being in a relationship myself, I can say that for me at least, it's worth all the effort; I treat it as a "labor of love" if you catch my drift. But kike I said, it's a case-to-case type of thing. |
