Staff Only Beyond This Point.
All Else Will Be "Subtracted".

So instead of only talking to each other through PM. It makes more sense to make a officer thread so we can discuss things with each other with four parties or more involved. We can also plan who fills in for Zee on updating when needed.

This thread got me thinking, similar to how jap schools has a person on duty on a particular day, How about we try rotating duty amongst ourselves weekly? What do you think?

Okay, I'll be updating the first post at the end of the month with the dates everyone will be on duty, If you'll be absent you can let us know here and I'll move you to a different week but if you go the whole month without doing anything then you'll be on duty for 2 weeks in the next month. If a person misses the whole month, the next person in line will substitute for that week and will subsequently be free the next month.

Hey HaXX are you adding the rating on the day it airs?
I think your suppose to wait a few days.
Aoharu episode three only been subbed for like 12 hours.

No I do it 48+ hours after it airs

I already asked, the sub time is not relevant here. We only go by the actual airing time in Japan since that's what all the major anime charts go by. It'd be way too complicated if you had to go by sub times

So for example, Aoharu airs at 18:46 CEST every Thursday, so 48 hours after that means I'll update it on Saturday evening my time, etcetera. The fact that it gets subbed later is irrelevant

Let's be using [Updated!] to indicate shows that have been updated on that day on the club wall, they should be removed the next day and the next day's updates will now use it. Here's a quick format.

▶ Gangsta. (+0.10) [Updated!]

I was actually thinking about doing something like that too

Think it looks better without the exclamation mark though :>

Though that'll only go for the shows that actually made it onto the list to begin with of course. Also do you only want that on the score change list? Or all three of them?

Just some quick questions since I ran into some new stuff and had to make assumptions about how you wanted it:

1. With this update, Durarara which was currently at the bottom of the Score Change list dropped even further so that it was now no longer in the top 20. So I updated by putting in the series which should have that spot now instead (Sore ga Seiyuu) even though that isn't supposed to be updated today, is that how you want it? The same also happened at the bottom of the MAL Score list with Gatchaman Crowds and Himouto
2. Working ended up with +/- zero over the last three weeks now so I formatted its score change as "(0)", is that correct?
3. If a show ends up with an unchanged MAL score compared to its previous week (like Shimoneta here), should I just delete the up/down arrow altogether for the moment like that or what?

I forgot to mention, there is also the weekly highest score change which is done on Tuesdays (after recording Sunday shows). Unlike the score change on the club wall that records the latest 3 weeks, this one records only 1 week, the latest week and shows us which show had the highest ranked episode that week.

To record this simply view the latest entries for shows that were recorded that week (if a show didn't air in the week it should not be included), unless we're having a really slow week only target shows who scored +0.03+ in their latest entries, all currently airing shows in the thread qualify for this ranking and not only the new season. The format is as follows:

Week X, Month X. Year X
- Show X [score change X]
- Show X2 [score change X]
- Show X3 [score change X]

This ranking should be posted in the comments and not the wall, we should also aim to have atleast 3 entries, so in a case where we don't have up to 3 shows that are above +0.03, then we may look at +0.02 and +0.01. Zero and negative values should not be included no matter the situation.

For the MSP score, if a show has a score change of 0, then represent it with a 0, it's a little bit confusing without it as it looks like the shows on top have an advantage of having aired more times than the shows below without it.

The red and green arrows should also be used on the score change section, only the msp score is left alone, also take note of the direction the arrow is facing, there are some green ones facing down instead of just being red.

as far as the direction goes though... I really can't help very much with that because the arrows aren't working for me so I have no idea what's up or down, they're just red and green boxes for me:
http://i.imgur.com/QpTYeyX.png

but I guess I can copy paste the template everywhere and it should work out..

edit: well I guess they work on my phone (uncolored though) so I think it should be correct now

Yep, so I wake up at around 1 P.M. EST currently and then go to the gym an hour later so I need to eat and stretch. I'm there for an hour and then have to make my protein shake and what have you. I'll probably do my duty between 3:30 EST and 4:30 EST. It all depends if I have anything in A.G. that needs big attention to.

So the Summer Thread wasn't very difficult but the layout part was a little more extensive. There was one time where I deleted a [size] and i needed figure out where it was coming from. It is very easy for your highlighting to branch over a little much and delete something that your not suppose to.

Do you ever do a hard save of the layout part of the club in like a word document is case something bad happens where everything gets deleted? It is a 1/10000 chance of it happening but it is good to be prepared for the worst.

First thing, I noticed on my PC that the arrows actually don't show, it is just green and red outlined boxes. So I have to update the club page on my Mac always.

Second, when something has a ++- does it still have advantage over something that has a ++ because the ++ is still undetermined or once something has a - it automatically deemed lower than a ++?

Third, when something doesn't have a change in the 3 week scoring change section, is putting an update still necessary?

First, i'm using firefox 38 on Win 8.1, so i don't know what the issue is for you guys? maybe you can try finding the same symbol somewhere on the internet that works on your browser, maybe whatever encoding this one is using is not supported by your browsers.

Second, i think using the theory of alphabetical order will be best for this, so something like the word 'music' will come before the word 'musical', so ++ will go above ++- since we don't know whether the ++ will be +++, ++0 or a ++-, until it does so.

Third, yes, even if there's no change it'd be good if people are made aware that it got updated but remained the same.

Regarding the arrows, it seems to be browser-related

I made a quick check with the ones I have installed. The up/down arrows work in Firefox and Internet Explorer. They also work on my phone which uses Safari

In Chrome and Opera however, they don't. Pretty straightforward

And if anyone uses anything else... well I haven't checked it

I only use Chrome myself normally though and I can't say I feel very motivated to change that just for this little issue alone

No problem, if you can find one that works on chrome or continue with the boxes since they only require copying and pasting then it's all okay.

Please use this symbol ''when something breaks into the top 20. It doesn't count for shows on their first eps though so Fate Kaleid doesn't count, but a show that is knocked out of the top 20 but makes a return some point in the future should also have it.

Format: Gangsta.

Also added duties for next month, wanted it to be week by week so it doesn't really cover the entire month.

Actually why don't we have numbers instead of just the "▶" thingies? You have to manually count to make sure it's at 20 as it is right now :s
