Finally, this series had some actual progression for the first time in goodness knows how many weeks. It was good to see Takeo and Yamato's relationship grow while also allowing Suna's sister to start to get closure on her feelings for Takeo. Also, this episode was all the better for being focused more on Oda and Suna's sister and not doing some stupid forced drama like it easily could have done.

Oda is really a nice guy. I hope Ai accepts him since she won't be with Takeo anyway.

I wanted her to confess =/

Felt kinda bad for her though. I knew she wouldn't stand a chance in the end D:

I think she would if she confessed before Takeo started dating Yamato. Oh well...

Overall, i think that was the most beautiful episode so far.
Ai: She looked beautiful this episode! I never realised how strong her feelings for Takeo were until that time. Seeing them together was refreshing and endearing. Almost made me feel sad they're not dating. Still, he belongs with Yamato. I have controversial feelings about whether Ai should have confessed her feelings or not. Of course, there was no chance of TakeoXYamato splitting up but at least Ai wouldnt have "what if" thoughts or hide her feelings forever.
Oda: Love this guy even more! He brings so much energy and life into their company and he became pretty good friends with Takeo too! His feelings for Ai are pure and genuine. I hope they will end up together. They are one beautiful couple for sure!
Takeo and Yamato: Cuteness overload as usual!^^ The end was emotional and who could have GUESSED THAT TAKEO GETS SCARED SO EASILY?! Haha XD
Suna: Oh my, Suna, you need to liven up! We hardly ever saw you this time and what is with that nonstop -_- face?? I wonder if he ever regrets Takeo dating Yamato. Like, they dont hang out as much and she steals most of his attention.

As much as i love these series i cant help but wonder WHY WOULD ANIMATORS MAKE THE SIZE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YAMATO AND TAKEO SO, SO EXTREME????

I mean, look at that comparison between manga and anime scenes!

I am used to anime exaggerating things but why go so extreme? Its almost uncomfortable to watch.

Oda is by far my favorite character in this series now. He may be a troll, but he does have a nice side (and he reminded me little bit waaay too much of Oikawa Tooru from Haikyuu in this episode, welp [why must they have the same voice] ).

Way to ruin the moment, Suna. Like always. But we still love you <3 :)

Ai is a very likable character. I found myself rooting for her as Takeo's gf instead of Yamato 'coz we ACTUALLY KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT HER LIFE.

It's damn episode 14 and we still in the dark with Yamato's background.

Maybe drama will come knowing her situation... I was expecting so bad for Suna's dad to die or something like that so the drama would come but NOPE.

I....fucking.....love this anime....

I will say, that I wouldn't have minded a bit of drama (as some people have said) but I'm totally ok with there being none....I was almost afraid to watch this episode because of the possible drama ahead.....

BUT this^ Hero bro has got the point.

Because Ore Monogatari it's allabout feeling the enjoyment of Takeo/Yamato's relationship. We think Takeo deserves the best and if he thinks Yamato is the best well she is. That's all. End of story. It's all about retribution for those who maybe don't look like the part BUT deep inside are fucking gold. Takeo is that kind of archetype.

We just have to sit back and relax while getting the feels.

This was a great episode. Unexpectedly got me in the feels and then Suna ruining the moment again while being all, "don't mind me, just watching the parade," actually made me laugh out loud.

I think some people are being unfairly critical of this show and missing the point. Not every anime needs to have some huge contrived drama or a deep, over arcing plot. I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I can understand if you, personally, feel like the show would be more enjoyable with more drama, but I think you also have to admit that it is successful in what it sets out to do. The type of enjoyment this anime brings to the table may not be your cup of tea, but I think that's completely separate from whether or not and anime is 'good' or 'bad.'

I really appreciate how the characters in this show are all likeable, but avoid being cliche. The characters are all simple, but also somehow layered at the same time. I thought I would hate Suna from my initial impression, but he is quickly becoming a favorite. I thought Yamato would be a very typical moe girl, but I love that she has a reoccurring inner conflict over not being 'pure.' I enjoy that the show is just a fun, sweet, episodic romance without the tired will they/wont they, grave ~misunderstandings, love pentagons that seem to be so prominent in the genre lately.

I will say, however, they need to tone down the LOL LOOK HOW MUCH OF A SIZE DIFFERENCE THERE IS!! thing. It takes me out of the anime more than anything. The parade scene where her entire hand is the size of his thumb was just distracting and uncomfortable. Like, we get it - he's a large guy and she's a petite girl .. but the exaggeration sometimes is just too OTT.

+1 for your agreement haha.

I understand what the people are saying who disagree with me in the sense that this doesn't have to be a soap opera drama, but *something* needs to happen to shake things up; 24 episodes of the conflict-free happy-go-lucky relationship with characters who fit roles gets boring. I'm not sure what the anime needs at this point, but it needs something.

I love this anime so much ^_^ This sense of humor is created special for me, but also a little of drama is something good. But I'm worried about Ai, because her feelings to Taeko are one-sided. In fact, I'm all for Takeo/Yamato pairing, but in a measure I think Takeo/Ai are cute (but in another way). Anyway I hope that Ai falling in love with Oda. It could be sweet connection~

I noticed that a lot of people had been doubting Oda's intentions in the last episode, so I'm glad this one seemed to paint him as an actual nice guy. I think Oda really is a good person and he legitimately cares for Ai. It was sweet how he stopped those guys from asking her too many questions while she was hypnotized. Even if they don't end up getting together, I think he would be a good friend for her to have around.

This is pretty much how I feel about the show in general, minus the size difference part from the quote haha. Yes, there's a lot exaggerating, but I just find it amusing due to being very appreciative of couples with large size differences. I'm still enjoying this series very much and I'm one of the people who love it for what it is.

I'm still not feeling Oda, regardless. With anyone having doubts (and someone called him creepy), I'd say they weren't wrong to feel that way. I mean, take Ai, who already rejected him. So instead of accepting that, he pursues her again, only to try and know more about the guy he was rejected for. After that, he plans to get her into confessing to her crush, something she was clearly uncomfortable and not eager to do. (I mean, Takeo is in a relationship now so there'd be no point if the goal was to cause some damage between them and maybe even Takeo and Yamato when she comes around again) Note, Oda is too concerned about Ai whereas he's still thinking of himself. He says it to himself in the beginning of the episode. "How will I ever get a chance, if you don't settle this?" I understand he wants her to find closure and have her head filled less with Takeo, but either way he had his chance and she declined him, so end of story. That's legit creepy to keep going after her, but some people aren't seeing that so well. They're a bit too clouded by him showing his own selfish desires under the disguise being 'considerate' and 'nice'. The intentional act of him making sure Takeo's phone would be dead later wasn't even cute, imo. Ai's right, he's kinda horrible to that degree. I don't hate Oda or anything. He's just incredibly shady and doesn't really deserve to be with Ai. He came back to dig into business that didn't even concern him. His feelings are one sided anyway and she just sees him like an acquaintance.

Personally, since Suna is supposed to be so perceptive, I was kinda waiting on him to call Oda out his shit, but I guess things would seem dicey with Yamato still being around so he decided to keep quiet and not get into business he likely didn't feel like getting in between. At least that's what I imagined, anyways.

Aside from that, Suna might seem like a 3rd wheel at times, but I guess if Yamato and Takeo are perfectly fine with him being in their company (minus the accidental times of them about to share a kiss), then I've got no complaints. People stating he needs to find a girl though....haha, please no. He seems fine just the way he is and since he stated relationships are a hassle to deal with, that's that. It's rather uncool to want to shove a character into something they clearly have no interest in dealing with. I feel a lot people tend to forget about the types of individuals who aren't interested in relationships, romantic/sensual love and all that. Even a character who can be suspected to be asexual, people still wanna cram them into pairings or having sexual relationships with others character who showed even a little interest in them instead of it being a mutual interest on all sides.

Wow, this got long, but I don't get to see enough people talking about certain things enough so reading certain comments so far just made me uncomfortable.

Fun and cute as always!

I really love this anime. But to be honest, I think that something needs to happen soon, more than just a hint of drama, for this show to remain really good. It's not going to be as interesting if nothing happens. I don't really mind though, love the development of the characters and their relations!

As much as I love it when you see a guy trying his best to get the girl, I can't help but dislike Oda's way of doing things. He was practically scheming that Ai's confession to Takeo would be shot down, and he would swoop in to pursue Ai as the rebound guy. That's not the act of someone who wants to get with the girl long term, that's the mark of a guy who wants to get into the girls pants as soon as possible :P

Plus, he essentially ruined Takeo and Yamato's date, what with splitting them up and making them run around looking for one another. I wonder what would've happened if they hadn't found each other at the Parade. I doubt Takeo would've done so, Ai's might've probably slapped him silly if that happened.

Also feel sorry for Suna. He came to have fun, but was dragged around by the scheming Oda for no good reason. Considering that's Ai's little brother, you would think that he would take his feelings into consideration, eh? If Suna had actually brought his cell phone, I'm betting that Oda would've ditched him at the drop of a hat (he would've messed up his scheme with the extra phone after all). Yet another reason why I don't like Oda's character.

And in the end he dug his own grave by telling Ai that Takeo actually felt something for her in middle school (well, boys will be boys, and as a primary schooler it's forgivable). Somehow I actually feel glad that Oda's not going to have an easy path to Ai's heart.

Not enough Takeo-Yamato moments. Largely due to that damn Oda...

In actuality, she hasn't changed at all. She's still just as stubborn as she was before about not telling Takeo her feelings. The only thing that happened was that instead of thinking "I'm not telling Takeo my feelings," she now thinks "I'm not ever telling Takeo my feelings." Let's be honest, there are no absolutes when it comes to promises like that in anime which means she could actually change her mind later in the heat of the moment. So in the end, *nothing* changed.

If you can call that development, then... okay, I guess?

- That first jump scare part was funny hahaha totally not expecting that

- I think not confessing was the right choice. After all, she feels that their current relationship is actually good enough. Confessing might probably make things awkward for Ai in future whenever she sees Takeo, which may make things worse instead of having closure. For now staying as it is is the best choice I guess? Though I would love to see what will happen if she did confess haha

- I agree with the hand size difference like some who have mention before. It's too ridiculous. The feels that I had went off when I saw that part because I found that scene funny hahaha.

- I think this episode is great!

The part with Takeo finding Yamato, when he said "people, people, people..." really reminds me of that part in Tokyo Ghoul, eps 1, when Ken said "People, people, people, children, females, flesh, flesh, flesh...." xDD

I don't agree with you. Yes, he may be shady in his ways, but I don't see anything wrong with trying your best to get the girl you like. In fact, I do not like people who gave up after the girl rejects them, that just proves they aren't dedicate enough in their love for the girl. If they truly like the girl, they'd keep on pursuing her, like what Oda's being doing.

It's fine, that you disagree. I was mainly concerned with just expressing my feelings on the matter, really. I get that some people can find it nice, sweet, be of dedication and such to keep up wanting to win someone's love, however for some the people who's on the receiving end, they can get uncomfortable and stressed out after having someone be persistent in pursuing a relationship with them. The girl or whoever that does the rejecting, their feelings matter too which also means Ai's feelings matter as well and if she shows no interest in trying to be with Oda, (as she was rightfully and visibly upset at the fact he left where he was to visit where she was and then to even run off to Takeo's job with no legit good reason. Plus she reminded him she told him no the first time), then that's a sign to really stop and consider why. He seems to have sort of ignored the number of protests she had against the things he was trying to do, despite supposedly caring about her and quite frankly, I feel it's a little gross.

I'm not even sure what he did was his best in any case. Whatever 'his best' was, had been done at the expense of others. He forced his way into people's company (after Ai wanted him to leave to go back where he was) and used manipulation to formulate plans to get results he wanted. Such things were done without considering and accepting other people's feelings on the matter. Again, all this because he didn't want to take no for an answer....and that's really discomforting, being around people like that. He could've did everything honestly and asked for a chance without yanking innocent people into his schemes, but apparently that didn't happen.

Oh boy, Oda is both a terrible and awesome person. Terrible because he's extremely manipulative, but awesome because he care so much about the nee-san and actually try to help her.

So close!! But again, like in almost every anime, the side-interest wasn't able to confess. Goddamnit.

Suna being super rational about those jinx thing, that was great. He's such the best bro. Please, Suna, make me gay.
