| Edridin reached the camp the bandits still pretty far away "Bandits" Edridin says quietly to Sabriel and Ledo as he draws his hammer from his back getting ready for fight "There's four of them, leave at least one alive, we might get some useful information out of them" Edridin says |
| Ledo He pushed himself up the tree trunk with a grunt, trying to stand through the pain of his rib. He grunts and splays his left hand, ready to use his growth magic. |
| Sabriel nodded to Edridin, tellling him that she was going to ambush them from behind, and just like that she slipped into the shadows making sure the wind was in her favour in silence. Even wounded she was still a lethal predator |
| Bandits approached the camp with ridiculously stupid charge, weapons held high, at the same time they noticed that two of the three persons in the camp has gone missing, all four charging against Edridin "Why the fuck it had to be a goliath!?" one of the bandits yells Edridin turns his hammer sideways blocking all four strikes with it, he nods at the Ledo in the tree to take his part of the action |
| Ledo Ledo closes his eyes and concentrates, feeling the plant life around him. The constant energy of it and the vibrant life it emitted, he concentrated that and made a tree sprout from the ground, its branches catching the Bandits clothing and bringing them up about a meter into the air, hanging like pinata's. One managed to shake loose though. |
| Thaat one that managed to shake lose didnt last. in one fluid motion he fell to the floor, the nape of his neck cut open and Sabriel stood with ice-cold eyes, immune to the blood that had drenched her features which mingled with the Orc like probably made her look like a real bloody monster. She had seen the opening and had dropped herself from a low branch of the tree where she had waited for several seconds like a panther for its prey |
| Edridin hits one of the bandits in the hip with the hammer freezing the area around the hip and dropping the bandit from the branch "I take this one as a prisoner, you do what you want with the rest" Edridin says The two bandits tries to get down from the tree, when they notice struggling being useless they start hacking down the branches with their swords |
| Ledo Ledo hopped down and before Sabriel could end them, he made vines grow around their bodies, restraining them. They also dropped to the floor, he takes their weapons away and throws them into the bush, he then turns to the two men, The vines will wither and die in an hour or so, you can go free then, he says to them. He then drags them into the brush and leaves them there. He comes back, clutching his side and grimacing. He then kneels next to the man Sabriel had killed, he puts both hands on his bloody forehead and mutters an inaudible prayer before closing the corpses unseeing eyes. |
| Sabriel had already moved on and was with Edridin staring down at the prisoner with impassiveness, like a lion would an ant |
| "Let's start with the basics then, who is your leader" Edridin asks from the prisoner with surprisingly intimidating tone The bandit spits at the Edridin "I won't tell ya" he says, clearly making a big mistake going with that choice of reply |
| "Oh hoh, we have a brave one" With her left hand she picked him up by the scruff of his neck bringing him into her personal space while lifting an eyebrow and then slamming him into the tree "I dont mind killing your friends off one by one in front of your eyes" |
| Ledo Ledo gets up and makes a small purple plant grow from his hand, which was covered by a glove. This is poison oak, ever heard of that? Ledo asks the man. Trying to think of a more passive tactic then Sabriel's. |
| "Don't dear to come any close with that plant, flower boy!" Bandit says and turns to Sabriel "Our leader will hunt you down, bitch" he says and tries to kick Sabriels clearly broken arm |
| she grunted when she received the kick but that was all, adrenaline was coursing through her veins and when she was in orc form the pain was dulled considerably "How many of you do you think I've already killed? You all smell the same, and I will stuff the poison oak down your throat" she spoke while she rammed her knee into his abdomen, not holding back at all |
| Ledo Ledo shook his head, I've had personal experience with this plant mister, I'm sure you don't want it rammed down your throat, let me tell you what it does. If it makes contact with your skin, you get a rash. But we're not talking about a little rash that's kinda itchy and goes away in a few days. No. The rashes are thick and develop hundreds of blisters. These blisters break and weep yellow goo, then heal, then break again. Itchy doesn't describe it. It's itchy plus intense pain, like someone is holding a thousand match-heads to you. Now, imagine that in your throat mate, he says with some venom. |
| "You wont dare doing it, flower boy" Bandit said with stubborness "I'm getting tired of this, look, if you wont start talking, your frozen hip is your least problem, soon, you will go home without legs" Edridin says, "So i ask you last time, who is your leader?" Edridin adds |
| "Ledo, give it to me, I'm gonna shove it up his arse so he can still speak" She told him with a smirk on her lips, she wasnt bluffing. She'd had enough of getting ambushed by these guys every mission, she was sure it was them |
| Ledo He looks at her hand, looking for a glove. Seeing it on her hand, he gives her the plant. He hold the Bandit for her as she only had one usable hand. He looked at the Bandit, Last chance mate, it may not hurt now, but just trust me, it will later on. Like. Fucking. Hell. |
| "You people are fucking crazy. allright i talk, i talk! Our leader is Donatus Redclyff... happy!?" Bandit says "Actually no, next question, where is your hideout?" Edridin says "Oh for fucking sake, it's in the swamp at the northern Ryx forest" Bandit answers "Last question, where does our reward money go and why are you ambushing us?" Edridin asks "The money goes to Donatus, we've been threatening the quest clients to pay half of the reward money as a protection money, we've been ambushing guilds because Donatus wants to stop guilds" Bandit says |
| "Oh, so you think that informations gonna cut it?" She spoke, acid dripping from her tone, "gonna brake it to you pall, it won't, and this is still going up your ass for all the fucking shit you and your little mates have given me" he spoke while walking behind him now, and rising his trousers with her foot |
| "What else you want to know you mad woman!?" The bandit asks terrified |
| Ledo Ledo gently puts his hand on Sabriel's arm, [b]Calm down, he told us what we want to know, no use putting that up his ass. |
| "Thought I was a bithc? Anyways, id like to know how long you can hold out without screaming?" she said innocently, "Or you can give us the boss's weakness, and beg to whichever deity you believe in your worth something more than the shit on my boot, since because of you and your pals I've had a hard time for nothing" She stopped thinking a second, still pissed with her arm starting to throb again "I could always shove it up there, with a stick, leave the stick in, gag you and you wouldnt even need to be tied up, id even let you walk behind the cart with the stick up your arse still" she shrugged Ledo off ignoring him |
| Edridin lays his hand on Sabriel shoulder "Sabriel, calm down, there is no need for any more gruesome acts, we know what we need to know, there is no need to take this any further" Edridin says with calming tone |
| Ledo He stands between her and the man, [b]Sabriel. Enough. Don't cause pain just for the sake of causing pain. |
| "All righteous now are we?" she flinched feeling Edridins hand on her right shoulder, the blasted kick handt helped at all, and it was all too accurate now the adrenaline had diminished considerable, "At least knock him out cold and bring him back so the master can question him" She couldnt win against both of them, not with only one blasted left hand |
| Ledo We're not being righteous, we're being humane, he says simply, [b]We already questioned him so I don't see the point, but Edridin should decide. |
| "Humanity is something only reserved for those who deserve it, not ones that ambush lone women with so many men i can't even count them on my phalanges" she spat back |
| "Ledo is right, this has nothing to do with being righteous, but we shouldn't fall down on their level, think Sabriel, do you want to be like them? Stop with this stupidity and clear your thoughts" Edridin says |
| "All three of us are already on their level, you both seem to forget the truth or ice it in pretty colours" She said turning around while dropping the Poison Oak somewhere on the floor close by. She walked away back to where she had been sat before they had been disturbed, fuck it all was the only thoghuht that came to mind |
| Ledo He sighed in relief then turned to the Bandit, You're lucky we are as hot headed as she is, but don't get me wrong, I would like nothing better than to break your nose, he says before looking at Edridin and waiting for an answer. Because he still hadn't responded to whether or not they should take him back to the guild. |
| "Hmm, no need to take him to the guild, we have the information we need.... run you wretch before i change my mind, tell your leader we will show up soon" Edridin says |
| Ledo Ledo wraps a vine around the man and pushes him into the brush where his comrades were. He then turns to Sabriel, Stop sulking, let's go. |
| Sabriel ignored him while looking up, she could see the first rays of light start to flood through the canopy, she felt her arm begin to sizzle like it had done last time yet this time more painfully which was probably from the kick and moving taking it out of its sling. Her fans receded, and her skin tone went back to its usual along with her heir and the rest of her body. A thin sheen of sweat covered her forehead, it usually hurt to change back and fourth, but these last few times had hurt more than usual, one a diffrent scale even |
| "So it's dawn already, maybe we should look for first wagon rider available, we want to reach the guild as soon as possible, of course visiting Rahkami first" Edridin says and gives a sigh to the idea of visiting Rahkami |
| Ledo Ledo nodded, Anything is fine by me, he says. He watches Sabriel transform, it was intriguing. |
| The elf looking woman stood up, cleaning the blade on her trousers and taking some of the blood with her sleeve of her face which only smeared it more "I want to get in and out of Rahkami as soon as possible" she deadpanned walking the way they had come, internally breaking down at the thought of having to go and see her |
| Ledo You guys have to be exaggerating, she can't be all bad, he says, gripping his side which had just flared up in pain. He fell to his knee, jumping from a tree and moving heavy people around probably wasn't good for a broken rib. He tries to get up but the pain was too much, [b]Ummm, I need some help... |
| Edridin helps Ledo up and helps him to walk towards the town gates where the wagons usually are, when they reach the gates there is three wagons. After a while Edridin manages to find one that will take them to Mor Toghria "This one will take us to Mor Toghria as quickly as possible" Edridin says and gets on with Ledo |
| Sabriel gets on the last and simply sat in silence, looking out at the passing landscape, curled up dreading each moment and mentally trying to motivate herself that it was all going to be okay. she didnt mutter a word in the whole road trip home |
| (Does the mission end there then? Since they are back in Mor Toghria? Also, i need to go to sleep earlier today, try and adjust my sleeping pattern because school is starting up again day after tomorrow.) |
