| Overall, the series was as expected, with the only real disappointment being the lazy writing. This is also why this "finale" was so lackluster. There are simply numerous ways this could have been done far better, but those all required more effort than the staff appeared interested in putting forth. This episode felt really off with things like the hand-to-hand fighting (isn't that essentially ramming? Shouldn't they be taking damage from that?). And for the love of god, if they're going to sound like that, let's, um, not hear Abyssals talking again. Or making any kind of vocal sounds. Ever. Still, it's not bad for what it was intended to be. At least I got my eye candy. |
| Pretty good show! Thought there was a lot of good character moments and a good amount of comedy, too. Eight out of te---...... BUUUURRRNNIINNG LOVE! Kongou-san is best girl 20ever of all time. 9/10 |

| I honestly don't really know what to say about this... I had half of my head believing that some part of history would remain, but nope lol. Considering no ship was sunk this battle, congrats to teitoku for only losing one ship throughout the series! BUT WHY DID THEY SHOW KISARAGI'S PIN Awesome that Taihou showed up, but it got super weird when everyone else showed up and was like ALL OUT ATTACK!!! Series was great overall, some parts were lame in their aspects, but I enjoyed most of the references.(2nd season hurray) |

| Damn this show is getting some mad hate, having very little knowledge of the game i can't see were their coming from on the character's behalf but i got what i wanted out of this finally in the last episode some real action!,just barely a 7/10 for Kongou-san being the best shipfu no surprise this is getting a sequel milk it!~. but what the hell all those ships show up but not Shimakaze?! even the new girl showed up :/ |

| I knew the anime was going to be vapid, insubstantial fanservice the moment it was announced, and so I set my expectations very low. The anime managed to far exceed my expectations though, being far, far worse than I ever even feared to imagine. I've been playing the game from nearly the beginning and it's pretty disgusting to see it mangled so badly in this adaptation. 3/10, and I'm being generous as a fan. |

| Yup, so Fubuki did come and save Akagi and rest at the right time. This episode was very anticlimactic no matter what they did with Airfield Princess. And what's with all the enemy destroyers? Nothing else but little creeps? At least the anime did not forget Kisaragi's death. Here's hoping 2nd season would be less messy than this season. |
| The series as a whole was just a mess in plot and atmosphere. You could tell the producers didn't really know what they wanted it to be exactly but I don't care about any of that. I thoroughly enjoyed this train wreck and can't wait for more Taihou in the sequel. 8/10 for me. |

| Reason why the show is getting a season 2 is because the playerbase of the TTKs supported it. this anime as many have said is aimed at those who are playing the game. so stop wasting your time bitching about something which isn't for you in the first place. there are almost around 3 mil players now playing kancolle and its probably the most played browser game in japan right now |

| as an avid TTK of the game, there were some things that really annoyed me and that were quite likely impossible in the game... (Fubuki and Kongou sinking the aircraft carrier a deux which was a Kai, meaning remodeled, which makes it kind of, well tough etc.) Also, I'm not really a fan of episodes where shit hits the fan, somebody gives a yelling prep talk to raise their spirits and then all of a sudden as big-damn-heroes backup shows up. Kinda takes away all of an episodes potential dramatic value. All in all... + Great animation, epic music (especially the OP and ED), very very large amount of fanservice towards the players, some funny moments, many characters I liked at least made a cameo - CGI was a bit to obvious, no real story/character development, things that annoyed me as player (see the Fubuki example above) It was a good show and a delicious piece of fanservice (not to mention a great hook for Kadokawa/DMM to get more people into KanColle) but it wasn't without flaws. Still did the job better than Ars Nova two years ago. |

| So a second season is incoming which sounds nice. Tho i found this ending pretty satisfying as it is but seeing the popularity of the game for this past few years it's very understandable. The only bad thing about this ending was that Naka wasn't sunk, that girl is really annoying. But it could be just me personal feelings. |

| This last episode managed to make me push up the score but the show still felt mediocre throughout. I guess I'll endure the second season as well in hopes that they focus more on the battles and especially those enemies. |
| Bruhhhh, that was an action-packed finale. That Airfield Princess was a real menace, and the waves of fleet girls coming in at the scene were awesome (especially Nagato and Yamato. They got MOVES :3). What really disappointed me was how that Wo class carrier with the blue eyes didn't even put up a fight. The show hyped up her danger for like the last half of the series, and she got sunk like it was nothing. Oh well. Can't wait for the sequel! Also, was that Kisaragi's hair piece thing floating up to the surface? And Give what back???? |
| Anime should be renamed: Last Second Saves: Fleet Girl Edition It was fine the first few times, but it gets so predictable after the 6-7 time, plus one fleet girl died and that's it?... The show can't even give me a believable military campaign story. Eh... 4/10 but I will probably watch season 2... I like learning about history. |
| Well, you either liked it, or you hated it i guess. All in all, the series was nothing special for me, i didn't particularly look forward to it each week, but i liked it enough to keep up with it, so it wasn't too bad. The only really shitty episode of the bunch was that damn curry competition episode. What a f'ing waste of an episode that was. Kongou was my favorite ship-girl. She probably put the series over the fence into being watchable for me. |
| Well, this final was okay for me. I expected some girls sinking, but they all survived and we got a happy ending. As someone who never played the game, I enjoyed this anime and give it a 7/10. It has action, SoL, funny moments and great OP/ED Songs. BURNING LOVE!!! |

| So much rage here. OT: Reinforcements upon reinforcements upon reinforcements upon... Kinda drained the tension of the situation. I personally think it was a bit of a waste to introduce the concept of sinking... only to never use it again. But whatever, 70% slice of life and such. 3/5, 7/10, I plan on watching the sequel since I (mostly) enjoyed this show. |
| <3 Taihou. Hopefully she'll have a bigger role in season 2, 'cause she' definitely best shipgirl (along with Iku). By the way, someone needs to add her character to the roster her on MAL. I could do it, technically, but I'm lazy... Prediction for S2: Submarine girls. IKUUUUUU!!! Also Hoppou-chan. Maybe Seaport Hime as well? Goth Island? Anyway, as for this season... let's be honest, the story was generic and it had a lot of cheesy moments. But that's more or less what I thought it'd be like anyway, so I can't really say I'm all that disappointed. Could've been better obviously, but it's fine. I enjoyed it enough in the end. Now I'm not sure whether I'm gonna give it a 5 or a 6 out of 10... |
| The whole season of this was awesome. The last episode was cool with everyone (except a few like the two that greeted them at the shore at the end) fighting and winning that battle together. While it might not be my favorite of the season, this is easily the highest quality anime out of the animes I watched this season. I was excited when I saw this is getting a sequel but I was also surprised. Even though I like this I thought it wouldn't get more because it seems like a lot of other people don't like it a whole lot and it looks really difficult to make. My favorite characters are Yuudachi, Shimakaze, and Kongou. Yuudachi and Kongou got relatively a lot of screen time and that was awesome but Shimakaze really got shafted. Hopefully they'll show her more in the sequel while still showing Yuudachi and Kongou as much as they did or more. |
