| It is obvious that he wants to get at Sybil in one way or another. However, I think that, from what we have been told thus far, his intentions are simply to erase the hue from the equation. Perhaps he'll analyze the denominators to find a way to jam, prevent, or corrupt hue checks so that they become obsolete or need to be repaired. He is exposing the flaws in Sybil to cause the public to lose faith in this all mighty deciding force so that, when he makes everyone clear, there will be no need nor desire to recreate Sybil and people will go, once more, to how they were before the system corrupted them. Everything about Kamui seems more and more unrealistic to me as the show goes on, though many of the reasons behind this could change as the show goes on. I kind of hope the new inspector turns out to be pulling all the strings, he seems like he could become a fairly interesting villain (that isn't just a poor rip off of Makishima.) |

| The public already have little trust in sibyl already without the extra helping hand from Kamui. In all honesty, the public obey simply because there is nothing else they can do to change their society. It would appear to me that Kamui (based on the anime alone) has some sort of resentment toward the system itself, as it's still unknown if he knows what sibyl actually is at this point. My guess would be that someone he really cared for was killed unnecessarily which as a result spiraled him into a deep despair, one that not only clouded his psycho pass but altered him mentality to the point of emotional numbness. |
