DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I have to admit, Yuya put up a really good fight with his signature card and Pendulum summon. Yet, Reiji is able to fight back with his DD series. Sigh. I almost thought he had a strong chance there. The highpoint imo of the match is when Reiji uses PENDULUM summoning. Not very original there... Anyways, great episode although the ending was anticlimactic. Damn it. I bet they will have a rematch someday.. |

| The entire time he sent out his Pendulum Monsters, all I'm thinking is "are those fakes" and then he says prototypes. I guess they're not fakes, but still... All these summoning methods in one show and it's WOW. |

| When you explain your strategy in YGO 99% you are about to lose. Yuya saved by the plot this time but the duel is still awesome enough for me to forgive it. Also I think the one that save Yuya is The Dark Duelist who attack that teacher on LDS. Anyway Pendulum Summon is the ultimate summon type that will wreck havoc meta duel in RL. |

It was a very tense moment overall that turn and the next one. Galileo and Keplers effects do modify their Pend Scales, though in the anime it seems 1 doubles and the other halves, and no matter the monster, even if DD if it is not within the scales they die. Interesting. Also I was intrigued by Reiji's final card, it is as if he discovered some way to play with the Pendulum mechanic around. I sorta expected a result like this, since with Reiji getting Pendulum, winning wasn't really needed. Still he proved a worthy opponent and Yuya did great. I liked this duel. |

| DAT EPISODE!! was pretty awesome! Also was kinda broken Reiji's pendulum summon allowing to summon level 9 monsters but after some malfunction on both card's scale still looks that Reiji had advantage over Yuya but damn, inturremped at last moment. Well now time to see how well is the teacher in duel. |

| Every singe enemy of the past few episodes have had fairly standard decks for what they are but Yuya just does whatever is convenient and relies entirely on plot armor. I'm sorry I just fucking hate these action cards. This entire fight has been nothing but convenient for him, even more so than his previous fights. |

| I don't know why so many people complained about the duel being interrupted. Yuya losing wouldn't have changed anything especially since his character arc would've been the same whether he lost or not. I wish that Reiji had simply postponed the duel instead of giving Yuya the win before he left, but whatever. Reiji might've won anyway since he still had a face down card he didn't play. |
| Yeah Action cards kinda lame. i don't like the running around to have the upper hand. Evasion action card, Attack twice action card are pretty good if you can "find" them. would be cool as a game wise sorta thing in a video game. Prototype Pendulum cards, i wonder how they incorporated on the card. I was thinking everyone can get DD cards or something but the pendulum ones are mega rare, maybe not from this world or something. like yuyas card. maybe they were just regular cards that anyone can get but he did something that made his cards turn into pendulums. Now the "government" or higher ups; they wana copy it. so they made a prototype. Also Reiji doesn't quite understand how pendulum works (looks easy enough) , but i mean imagine one day your cards magically got a number and some symbol. you wouldn't know what it means. i don't blame him for not having a clue how to do em if i was in his shoes. that's why he wanted to study yuya how he did it. but now he understands how they work. he'll be a tough opponent, especially since he can do all the gimmicks. also i just had a thought. If they can create the numbers. i don't see why not they could do something like scale 1 and scale 99 for example. they could if they wanted too! (mass produce something like that by government) cos they did it with Rejis card. |
