| I've never been one to really see the humor in memes. In my eyes at least, memes are usually bad jokes that have been run into the ground. Nowadays, memes come in the form of weird catchphrases or pictures that only the "in-crowd" would usually understand. I think jokes that rely on prior knowledge all together to provide humor are weak in their attempt at best. I dunno, it might not be as simple as a source of "humor". Memes may in fact be a way for people to fit in, but that's only a guess on my part. Thoughts? Do you think memes are funny? Why? |

| I usually think of them as shock humor without the shock. Usually by the time something becomes big, what made it funny isn't funny anymore. That said stuff like Yatta!, Guiles Theme, and All Your Base Are Belong to Us, are pretty funny. But then again all of those aren't in the mainstream anymore. |
