| title says it all!! LOL :V got you! don't feel like reading the paragraph skip to the short summary at the end!!!! I'm looking for something above average that has some form of drama or romance or thrill(keeping in mind that I want these IN the anime not an anime from these genres specifically but they can be from thos genres). something like of Steins;gate, Shinsekai Yori, Gurren laggan, code geass, Clannad(prepares shield against haters), SAO, Kaichou e.t.c. what I mean is some are epic in one way or another either something happens during the plot or the characters themselves are awesome even if the anime is subpar. most of my examples of something epic happening is usually someone dying but if you've seen Shinsekai yori SHORT VERSION: Animes Like: Steins;gate Shinsekai Yori, Gurren laggan, SAO, Clannad Containing something epic: be it amazing characters,romance plot or an event(s) Not Containing: "physical" horror(Refer to last 3 sentences), Harem(unless epic) Must be: a TV or Anime series and must be completely aired and preferably after 2005/06 but I will make exceptions. AND COMPLETED CHECK MY LIST BEFORE POSTING PLEASE!! P.S. Slice of life though they may not seem "epic" usually have amazing characters and also even though appearance can be deceiving I tend to say no to anime I don't like so give me a brief sentence or a few words as to why its good or why you think I would like it or why you liked it, thanks!! |

| Fushigi Yuugi I suggest! I looked on your list and I didn't see it so sorry if you have seen it. It has a good amount of thrill, and there's romance too. Also, I remember one particular scene really shocked me but I won't spoil it for you. I think you will like it because I like the same kind of anime's you do and I really enjoyed this, so I would give it a try. Although, it's a little bit of a harem I guess. Two boys love her- if you think thats too much like a harem then you might not like it. Also it aired 1995-1996 I believe, so. |

| absolutly agree with the things on your epice, well the once i watched :P well except 1 thing but that is everyones taste :P (i prefer ef over clannad :D) monster (rly many episodes, and its rly high already in my opinion even i am at 50% of it. its rly awesome) baccano (rly awesome bloody and very nice characters) fate zero (casue it has the best fights ever) steins gate movie (if you liked the show i mean you rated it with 9, you will like the movie) flcl (because epic means also unique, it has just 6 eps, i am still not sure what it was about, but i enjoyed it xD) bokurano (suprised me a lot, didnt think this will be that good, rly nice plot, but its still just an 8 i think on my list, but because the fights sucked xD) monogatari 2nd season (this season is soo epic, srsly its like 10 times better than bokumonogatari) and +1 wolf children |

| kara no kyoukai - mystery/supernatural/romance. starts out leaving you wondering wtf is going on, when it all starts coming together its awesome. its a series of 7 movies that tell a single story, art and animation by ufotable (fate/zero) is excellent. gets pretty violent but the violence is inherent to the characters and isnt just there for no reason. def. worth checking out, and if you stick with it i dont think you will be disappointed. |

Someone suggested that I watch the movies to see the true end to Evangelion, and I don't regret it. I recommend this because it looks like you've seen NGE, but haven't seen this movie. Not my favorite movie ever, but I definitely think it was epic for the Eva series. |
