I'd like to know how you guys store and organize your anime so please share a picture of how you do it.

I'd like to get some ideas from you guys.

Currently I have my anime stored on my External HDD ( 2 TB ) and it's organized like this:

Not sure if I know how to post a picture but I tried...>_<

I don't organize it, I delete the anime right after I finish watching it. I don't see the point in keeping it on your HDD.

Indeed.

I have a folder named "Anime series", and the anime movies don't have a specific folder, so they are mixed among the other movies I have stored.

I create a bunch of folders and put them in it. Helpful for hiding porn too.

If it weren't for piracy, anime (or any other medium) won't be thriving as much as it currently does.

I agree with you lad. I do have my 10 favorites on my HDD, and certain scenes I am fond of, but other than that, the only series on there are series I am unlikely to watch anytime soon, so that if my internet goes off for a while, I can watch them in the meantime.

Also, do you get those folder icons from a specific place, or do you make em yourself? Because they are pretty sweet! :3

I hope you pay for your porn then.

On topic, I normally delete it but if I really like the series I keep it.

For the anime which I enjoyed and therefore plan to re-watch in the future, it's pretty handy to keep it stored in my HDD.
5 main aspects I base my ratings on:
1. Did DramaEnthusiast make a thread about it?
2. Is it better than Breaking Bad?
3. Did MellowJello recommend the shit out of it?
4. Has it caused a (very entertaining) shitstorm on MAL?
5. Is it actually good?

Scratch the fifth point, it's not very relevant...

In a folder called "Movies, TV shows, etc" on my second HDD. I don't have an anime folder. I delete most of them as I watch them or after I'm finished.

I would like to store my anime, but it would take up too much space and I'd need an extra external HDD.

I stream my anime and sometimes I rarely download anime if the subs on the streaming sites are rubbish then I delete them. But I do have one of my favourite series downloaded that I store on my computer and I might just store my other favourite anime on my computer in the future.

I have an 'Unfinished' folder with one 'Movies' subfolder and a 'Tv-series' subfolder for downloaded anime, then I also have a 'Finished' one with equivalent subfolders that I transfer recently finished ones over if I think they were good enough that I'd ever consider rewatching any clips from them, or if I want to use them for screenshoting pictures for anime guessing games. Other than that I just delete everything when I'm done.

On a set of wall mounted shelves ike this:
http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/ag9/DarthShebs/DSCI0177_zps506dbc4a.jpg

I'm a DVD/BD collector. Those are my TV series and OVAs. They are organized by type (TV series, OVA) and then alphabetically by title/franchise. Shelves 1-14 and part of 15 are all anime, the rest of 15 and the stuff on the floor is my live action TV series.

I have a bunch of anime movies on DVD and BD too, but I keep those in a tower next to my other non-anime films.

Lastly I have a 1TB external hard drive which I store my unlicensed anime on, also alphabetically by category and title. That stuff gets deleted once the show is licensed though, so I don't usually keep much on it.

I'm also pretty anal when it comes to episode numbers and titles. =(

I store some anime with German subtitles I get from a friend with a much better internet connection on my HDD and keep them until I have to delete some shit: The biggest percentage of my anime gets streamed. I only buy those where I'm really sure they are worth my money. And most of the animes can't even bought here in Austria and I don't want to import them (except for the Madoka Magica movies. I'd import them 10-times if I could).
So piracy/streaming is my only option to watch anime besides Naruto or One Piece. I ain't even mad.
Time is money, but money won't turn back the clock.

I have a heap of anime downloaded and saved on to my external harddrive, but if I like an anime series enough I generally end up buying it and deleting it off my HDD. It's just annoying when new gen MacBooks and the Razer Blade don't have CD drives, little inconvenient.

Once they're in, I sort them by genre.

I'd say that 1 out of every 5 or so anime I see gets kept.
