LOL, getting yelled already, Eijun? :P

I have to admit that their coach is pretty tough though. Decent episode overall. Those were some epic pitches from the coach. Went right to the fence. I love Eijun's confidence though.

I had a feeling that Eijun was going to screw up on that pitch to fence, it was hilarious how it just curved though. I can see that Coach being a pretty awesome dude later on, and I'm liking Eijun's determination to be the ace, he's at a tough school, so it's good to see him keep on trying.

Good episode like usual! I got three laughs out this episode, one with Miyuki, one with the 11th grader scaring him and one with the rice jokes. I feel pretty bad for Eren- I mean Eijun, but I can see why the Coach is forcing him to run all the time. Possibly because Eijun needs more stamina and to get used to the baseball life. =p Oh well, looking forward to next week!

I'm actually pretty tempted to start another baseball anime to fill my void. :X Oofuri perhaps!

Lol Miyuki, that was actually a pretty good idea though at the same time, he also kind of attracted some attention to himself when he blew Eijun's cover. So all he had to do was apologize and he could've gone to regular practice? At least he didn't give any excuses and even when he failed (though almost! Too bad it curved) he didn't complain or give up, instead he kept his end of the deal. And of course the coach wouldn't keep Eijun running for forever, he noticed something when he saw the battle curve at the last second. Man I'm really loving the comedy too ^^

Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga.
Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month.
Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel.
The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck.

The coach perhaps was a little too harsh, but I guess it was for testing him. I believe he will be a badass brocoach later on. Also, his roomates are dicks (for now).

Anyway, in next episode will be introduced the main girl? I thought I saw I glimpse of her in the preview.
Can't wait to see Eijun redeems himself.

It was enjoyable. Their interaction was funny, and the characters were likable. Wish his inner conflict had been depicted more before arriving at Tokyo. Although he showed a dismal look on his face for a moment, that execution was rushed. It felt like he forgot about his friends as soon as stepping onto the platform of the train station.

Looks like a lot of difficulties lie ahead of him. Just hope he won't get injured often. It was stressful to watch Goro of Major due to frequent injuries.

Really good episode, nice to see such great friends on the team again. The feeling of seniority seems really realistic as well, much how I felt in my activity during my years.

That determination =P

Well , that is what we call non-bullshit slice of life.

Great episode , though I rly hope that Eijun could make the 90 meters pitch and whoop his ass at Coach Kataoka's face. Lol.

Miyuki , funny as hell.

Another good episode. What a rough start for Eijun, it was expected for the elite Tokyo team to be extra strict but I didn't expect his teammates to be total assholes. At least the coach recognized his talents in the end and everyone seem to take seriously and work hard. Also the scouter showing her true colors was funny.

This episode cracked me up. There is definitely a lot of potential for cruelty (and humor) at the hands of his new team-mates :) Making his run to get in line, and being caught mid-way like he was.... that was awesome. Hehehehe Definitely plan to continue watching this show.

Really like the coach's personality. His toughness is probably a big reason why the school is such a renowned baseball school. Looking forward to seeing how he acts during the matches.

Right now I honestly believe Diamond no Ace is the best sports anime this fall. Kuroko no Basket 2 is really good but I feel like this is more enjoyable.

Eijun is very lucky to be allowed to attend the practice sessions. Being late then being rude to the coach! Way to go to getting yourself a bad rep.

Can't believe it has a 7.5 average so far. This is my favorite baseball series, as much as I love Major, Goro always getting injured to nerf him got repetitive.

This so damn much, it's what I love about him the most. Well that and being an absolute idiot.
Which is why this episode is one of my favorite parts, fully believing in his ability only to throw a curveball.

I love how it looked like he failed, but this episode actually shows his potential as a pitcher. 90m is pretty distant and doing just a curveball almost reached it. Whoa.

Hahaha. The catcher used Eijun as camouflage to sneak in. LOL. And the coach is pretty hardboiled.

Pretty cool so far. Great humor, and I like how he's at the same time a klutz but also filled with determination. A good way to spend some time while I'm waiting for Kuroko 2 to be finished, so I can finish it without having to wait every week xD

I gotta hand it to the epic soundtrack, was focusing more on the music than the actual emotions I was supposed to be feeling of the scene playing out at times.
Kazuya though... He's definitely bound to be one of my favorite characters, I can tell. That certain charm, wtf.

Definitely looks like there's going to be a pretty good cast of supporting characters in this show, which is always a need, especially in sports anime

I actually liked this episode compared to the other 2, it finally gave our MC so depth to his character, we did know he was super determined and has talent, but him doing more than just talent ( which is training ) is really going to make me impressed by this.

I also like how the MC is also scared now because if you make ONE mistake you will be sitting in the dug out and there are about 100+ people they said trying to play for 9 positions? So its going to force our character to grow up quickly and change fast.

Justice! The three upperclassman that are responsible for the MC being tardy on the first day get caught instantly and are punished alongside him! WHOOO!!! That is what you get for screwing with people!
Also, it is great that we got a character brimming with talent but lacking much experience. Like Hinata from Haikyuu! we learn how the sport works through the protagonist.

Sad to see after only three episodes Eijun won't be a pitcher but marathon runner...

I won't be surprised if Eijun gained trust issues, at least the coach was nice enough to also punish the three who fcked him over.
