Baseball Manga Cross Game To Be Animated

According to Weekly Shounen Sunday, Adachi Mitsuru's baseball manga "Cross Game" was announced to get a TV anime adaptation. It will be aired this spring.

Cross Game has been published in Weekly Shounen Sunday since 2005. The second chapter was finished last September and the publication of the series is taking a long break. The third chapter was announced to start from this spring.

Some great news to hear, I'm going to watch this for sure.
A good quality manga, so I hope they can keep the level of the anime 'round the same.

So many sport animes about baseball... I personally have no interest in the sport itself but I wouldn't be surprised to find myself watching this one too.
