| Really blows the first season of FMP out of the water, if you ask me. So am I to take this to mean that Wraith is actually a woman who was just wearing a disguise all that time? Complete with a voice change system and resistance to firearms? Interesting. Better pacing, drama, action, military tactics/planning, character growth, art, and animation. 8/10. I don't understand why the rest of the LNs haven't been animated yet. |

| A pretty cute open ending where the episode was filled with great development and action but what I do find sad is that we didn't see a kiss scene between those two that would've really make it a good ending! Either way a nice season in general and well let's see what the ova has to offer but personally would love to see another season! |

| Damn, there are some cliffhangers. Who was that lady with the sniper at the end? What about Tessa's brother? I really liked this series and hope there is another season. The Second Raid really blows the first season out the water. |
| Leaps and bounds ahead of the first season. Makes you wonder what could have been if Kyo-Ani had been at the helm from the start. I'm surprised they haven't made a third season though. The ending was a perfect setup for it. And wasn't this a majorly popular series? Weird. |

| Too be honest It was underwhelming. They should have at least kissed at the end but nooooo we get the usual "oh no it's nothing" reaction. Great series overall and most parts were well thought out. That scene in the previous episodes where she was being stalked and she was in her house had my heart racing. Overall I give this series a 10/10. I just wished they wrapped things up better since this is more than likely the last of this series. |

This last episode did feel a little rushed, especially the fighting scenes with the mechas (way too fast), but it still managed to entertain and pull off some sweet moves (like Sagara's final move ignoring the hostage). The final scenes with Sagara and Chidori were also sweet. In the end this season ended with a very good note, and if Kyo-Ani ever does something else FMP related, I will be eagerly awaiting it! Before he can do anything regarding romance and Chidori he needed to resolve his own issues. Not completely tied down by orders anymore. Knows what matters to him and he'll do what he has to for it. If it meant leaving Mithril he would, if it meant cutting his pay (which is probably damn good) then he'd do that. Definitely Kalinin is proud of his growth. It may not be easy to go back and forth, but he'll do it because that's what matters to him. He'll help his comrades but he'll also stay with Chidori. Now just need a sequel and resolving the relationship side of things. Pretty much sums up how I feel about it. Really fantastic show, can't wait for BONES to animate the rest of it this year. :') (Literally, I can't wait, I'm going to go read the manga now.) 9/10 |

| Bit of a longer finale I see. So Season 1 ended with Sousuke and Kaname fishing together, and this season ends with them taking the train home together after she cried in his arms at school. That's...progress...I guess? ;D Geez, Sousuke was an absolute nihilistic wreck without Kaname. As soon as he meets her again though he's taking on 5 Venoms at once making it look easy. Then demanding he be allowed to stay at school, with her, to Mithril. If that ain't love I dunno what is. And she was clearly trying to confess but failed because this isn't the end of the series so of course she did. Well they threw Teletha a bone. This being the Christmas season her little scene reminded me of Rudolph's "She thinks I'm cute!" scene. But she's still got no chance. ;D This season was...pretty good. It was definitely a step up art and animation wise from the first. And definitely in it's "edginess." Lots more violence and swearing and nudity. Regarding the villains the twins didn't really make much impression, even with the very cruel death of the older after witnessing her sister's corpse played with like that. Her death actually reminded me of Ray's from Eureka Seven in that regard, reaching her hand out I mean. Balding guy was certainly flamboyantly over the top. I was a bit surprised he didn't escape. And Gauron...well, yeah. I guess Teletha's brother counts, but he didn't do much. He'll no doubt play a larger role in the future. Ditto that long haired woman who helped Kaname. Is that Wraith btw? Wasn't expecting that, forgot all about him/her. Not sure how I feel about Sousuke's arc. It kinda felt like when Renton left the Gekko come to think of it. But the whole thing wasn't nearly as interesting or well executed imo. The end seemed almost too easy too, but I'm inclined to overlook it since I like Kaname and him together. So with that said I was left satisfied until next Fall, though I do still have Fumoffu and an OVA to watch. Uh, yeah, 7/10. |

| That was great. My favorite were ep 5 (feels like a Mission Impossible movie lol), and ep 9. Chidori was awesome. The romance ended in a humble way, but I think it fits their current awkwardness. 9/10 Loved it. Bye Gauron? |
| Kaname kinda kills the mood in the beginning of this episode with the excessive Sousuke abuse, it just doesn't seem to fit the tone of the rest of the episode and it threw me off for a solid 10 minutes after it had stopped as well. It works well in Fumoffu! for the humor effect because of the way it's executed, but for TSR which was dealing with serious themes and has character development it just feels out of place in the final episode considering the circumstances it was in. And I get what they were trying to go for too, like what Kaname does to Sousuke at the end, before the credits (!) It's a shame because ep 1-12 for the most part were well done for a show of the mid-2000s era. The beginning did a good job of hyping me up and the middle episodes are arguably the best (specifically 8 and 10 were masterfully executed), things took an unexpected turn for the meaningful. Would have been a 9/10 series for me if it weren't for that. |

| For a second I thought Kaname would actually tell Sousuke she loved him. Sweet way of ending the season though. I'd say this season did things better than the first season, it just felt right. I was surprised with the change in pace and tone halfway through the show, the first half being action / violence like and then the serious tone which made some episodes feel really special to me, especially the episode where Kaname is trying to find out who's chasing her etc. Really solid season and well worth the 9/10 from me, definitely an improvement over S1. |

(12) I m soo glad I only got to get into the whole series after hearing about S4 announcement, been so long since I first had knowledge of FMP, and finally having watched both (plot) seasons, it feels really good knowing S4 is right around the corner! But I wont wait, time to pick the LN and read from the start~~ As for this finale, this episode was GREAT! Wouldnt change a thing, animation was epic, Kaname was best girl right there, Tessa was soo cute fidgeting too. I was sad that the last twin had to die like that, fucking dramatic, but at least the doctor got it done good to him too. Everything I could ask for an finale, really amazing season and loved that Sousoke development. As for S4 it would be awesome if they could keep the momentum going, by that I mean, SR had great animation, they have to match it, and also please no fillers. They have 6-13 volumes to adapt, Xebex, please get this right... 8.8/10 = 9 (glad I saved my 9 for this one, really well deserved, hope I will have lots of fun with fumoffu too, after this some comedy with the series will feel right in) |

| Rewatching TSR after like 8 years just makes me remember what a HUGE improvement it was over the first season. The first season really hasn't aged well. It just goes on and on and on in some of the serious arcs, with an admittedly pretty boring villain, and poor animation at points. TSR on the other hand is half the length of the first, it's fast paced, hilarious, it's beautiful to look at (Thank fuck Kyoani took over!!) and the fluid action scenes are amazing. Not to mention the story is way better, the bad guys are delightfully evil and it has more character development. If FMP was a 7, TSR is a 10! My favorite scene is a simple one, the scene where Sousuke finally lets his guard down and Kaname gives him a haircut. It's intimate and emotional. NOW ON TO SEASON 4 HOLY SHIT!!!! I CANT BELIEVE IT'S FINALLY HERE |

| What a nice season. To be fair, I didn't like the first one. It had a mediocre story, sometimes a bad animation and a horrible ending, but this was much more fast-paced, short and it felt much realistic as Sagara fought his fear to lose his individuality and Chidori. As for the romantic interests, I hope he chooses Tessa, but I have to read the manga to confirm or deny that. A solid 8/10. |
