That's also what i concluded(could have misunderstand it as well). I'm guessing they showed him the effects of the spiral power leading towards Spiral Nemesis and then he changed sides. |
| Hmm now that you mention it Nayah, it does make more sense. Looking at the vision they showed him, it makes sense that it was probably of the spirals going out of control, smashing the other planets around them and then everything being destroyed. I mistook it for them like twisting his mind and breaking him, thus having him change sides. Thanks :) |
| Just rewatched it a second time and noticed something.. Lord Genome's pet closes resembles an armadillo which leads me to believe that it could have been a much younger Guame. I didn't bother much about the pet during my first watch >_> |
| Yeah, Simon is so getting sued for copying Lord Genome's awesome mecha design. I mean, even the spirals on the shoulders look the same.. Bad Simon, bad! |

| EPIC WIN. GAINAX finally understood that we, fans, want more GURREN LAGANN, damn it. Not beautiful cloudy skies, not stupid wagging penises, and NOT an alternate reality we don't give a fuck about. We want pure, epic Gurren Lagann, and this is what we got with this AMV. REAL, bloody perfect animation, epic music, numerous references to further events in the storyline (and even to the golden age of Super Robots, anybody recognized Mazinger or Gunbuster ?), and even a scenaristical link to the series. This AMV gave me MOAR than what I asked to such a project. I'll say it again : EPIC WIN. PURELY AND SIMPLY EPIC WIN. |

That armadillo thingy is definitely Guame.^^ |

| This wasn't the only video with story in it. It's the only video with story that is somewhat canon. Having already completed TTGL, seeing videos like the one where the characters are grouping up to rescue Nia or where Viral is the "good guy" in a spaghetti western fighting against the evil Kamina were cool. But this video was great too, not just because of the story but it was just pretty to look at. On the whole, I enjoyed all the videos because I like the soundtrack. Some of them, the videos themselves weren't great (Libera), but even then listening to an extended song is nice. |

| Meh, didn't really care for these shorts. Nothing really that entertaining with most, and the music tracks tended to repeat. |
| Definitely made up for the previous one. This is my favorite one out of the eight, no question about it. It was awesome! |
