| I was looking at the thread on who the most intelligent anime character is and it got me to thinking about this. Who do you think is the most intelligent character in Saki? Is it RTS expert Tomoki? Mako with her photographic memory? Hisa with her way of messing with people's minds, Yumi's confident instinctive leadership, Jun with her snarky comments or Koromo with her grandiose statements that almost invariably get ignored by just about everyone? Someone like Nodoka with consistent, well thought out play, or someone like one of the Miyanagas whose control of the game negates any need for such play? Or is it Hagiyoshi with his seemingly limitless talents? Or even one of the commentators? Or is Kaori really the smartest of the lot and just trolling us all? There's no obvious answer, that's for sure. |

| I'd say the most intelligent is Yumi. She doesn't have any kind of special skills, but she can still fight back against monsters like Saki or Koromo with some amazing counter tactics after a little analyzation. Not on the long term though, but she still pwned Saki's rinshan and annoyed Koromo quite a bit. There's also Funakubo Hiroko from Senriyama, she looks quite smart as well, though she needs to rely heavily on data to counter the better players. Yumi did it on the fly, so I guess she's superior to Hiroko. As for the biggest idiot (intentional rewording)... I'd say it's a contest between Yuuki and Shizuno xD |

| I'd agree on Yumi being intelligent... with how she managed to win against Hisa, Fujita, and Mihoko on that TC... Heck, she's doing just fine against Saki and Koromo... maybe if Koromo wait before discarding that 1 pin, Yumi could be in tenpai for Kokushi, Tsuruga could actually win, but.. *shrug* ... As expected from 5 star players from Ritz' mahjong Tutorial. :D And she's a data collector... Maybe she'll get along well with Hiroko. Can we add Kouko-chan (commentator) I mean she's skillfully makes Sukonya gives us what she knows about a lot of things, from Rinkai's stuff to Teru's Teru (by playing dumb). Yes, that's intentional. XD Kaorin is trolling everyone? Oh God. It would be awesome that she actually acted like a noob so everyone drop her guard. Kaorin actually one of the mahjong demon. LOL. |
