| Someone with as much of these words as possible. Cute, sweet, fun, funny, helpful and nice main character girl. They can be older, but I prefer them young. Examples: Akarin from Yuru Yuri. Nanoha from Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha Amu from Shugo Chara. Shows I've dropped which qualifies and I may pick up again. --Kanamemo- Not sure if I'll pick this up again...but I really like the two little girls though...but the older girls are senseless so it's turning me off... --Strawberry Panic-Maybe I'll finish when my I don't have a big PTW list. |

| Cardcaptor Sakura should also qualify from off of your holds list. I'd also recommend going through Clannad. The first series like you said in your comment is pretty slow but believe me, the entire first season is done to set the tone for the Clannad: After Story, which is extremely well-received with consistently high ratings. |

| Four recommendations I think I can make for this post, in order of goodness =] - Ouran HSHC - This one is simply great, very entertaining story about a girl admitted to a rich kid's high school, very sweet - Special A - Hilarious story about a highschool girl and her rival she's had since childhood, made me laugh out loud whenever it wasn't pulling at the heart strings. More comedy based - Kaichou wa Maid Sama - This one particularly differentiates itself from others in the same genre through both it's male and female lead. Both have very distinct personalities, not the usual thickheaded retardedness you see. A refreshing change of pace in my opinion - Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu - Story about a perfect girl who actually happens to secretly be an otaku. One guy finds out, and promises to help her keep her secret. Rather sweet, but a little stupid at times, It's similar to Ore no Imouto, but with much less teen angst NOTE: This is all based of animes, I don't know how the mangas for these are |

Having seen Ore no imouto I think I have more interest for this anime now than before. Already seen maid sama and speacial a though. They were alright. OriginANIME said: This sounds... very wrong. | Ai Yori Aoshi ~ Seriously, Aoi is just about as sweet as they come. Gakuen Alice ~ Mikan is young, and she is pretty much everything you listed. The animation isn't the best and it isn't nearly as good as the manga, but it isn't bad by any means. Kobato ~ Again, Kobato is everything you listed. The series doesn't have the best start, but as it goes it definitely gets better. Kodocha ~ Sana is just awesome, period. It is an older series so the art takes some getting used to, but the series is a classic. Mawaru Penguindrum ~ Himari is a great female main character. However, this is a mindscrew anime so be prepared for anything... And I mean anything. Soul Eater ~ Maka is actually a rather good lead who develops a lot over the series, but it does have it's silly moments and the ending of the series is... Weak, to say the least. |
