The episode had its moments... like all the pudding parts but I was largely unimpressed. Hopefully the second part to this will be awesome or something.

The fella just has bad taste and ruined the show for himself by having ridiculously high expectations. It happens.

I've been waiting for an episode where Gin-chan went in to life lesson mode and this was it. Shit got real when the warden tried to bully what's-his-face and Gin-chan was leaning against the wall like a boss. The comedy in this was excellent as well and kept thinking Zura's jail episode was gonna be remembered. I lost it so much this time I know I can kill.

rofl salaryman gintaro

This episode was hilarious, one of the best this season. Also, no overusing of gags like with jugem, bunch of references and gintoki in full form. So, basically no idea what the OP is talking about.

I guess the obvious implication is that the warden himself is sending the letters; hopefully the twist is more elaborate than that though.

I just hope that bastard warden don't end up becoming

The rating of Gintama went down from 9.34 to 9.29 in recent weeks thanks to Jugem-Jugem. It's about time Gintoki go life teaching mode and gintama's authority in top is galvanized.

Great episode. Life is basically a prison once you realize the society is a jail itself.

Great episode I don't know what the OP is talking about. I cracked up when the old guy went mental over Gin taking his pudding, and the return of Shachi was brilliant xD

I don't think the Warden will turn out to be the son of gramps - the old man knew his full warden & Shinpachi told Gintoki that the warden's father was a big cop with enough influence to get him his job. I kind of doubt they'd have added that in if that was supposed to be the twist.

I think so too. I mean why else would he give him the letters regularly? This episode really flashed by and I can't wait until next week. =D

I think it's more likely that he isn't sending the letters and fooling gramps so he can get money. That's why he doesn't want gramps to get visiting rights

Gin-san looked SO EPIC when he walked away when he beat up all those low life prisoners! So awesome! Wish he looked like that more often :D

LOL at everyone giving Gin-san his pudding and their "boss" massasing his shoulders xD

I loved this episode, it made the slight disappointment of the previous episode all good again ^^ Gintoki could lead whole Edo if he had enough motivation ^^

While the recent Gintama episodes have been admittedly pretty lowbrow, this episode was smart and intricate as hell! Lots of good jokes, badass moments and references to earlier episodes (like the Zura prison break episode!)

It seems if you've been in the Joi war, you'll turn out just fine in prison xD

I want the cosplay trio.
Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances.
He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter.
Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga.
Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month.
Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel.
The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck.
