I think Minko acted like a spoiled brat the moment Ohana came in. I can relate to her because of it. It's like she knew that Tohru might like another girl but I don't really know what Tohru really feels about her. Other than a teacher-student like relationship. Anyways, I'm glad that Tohru was standing outside the whole time, knowing that Minko likes him. I remember when Minko said that she likes Tohru, I support her all the way. I really want them to end up together. I really can't see Ohana going out with Tohru. It's just weird and not to mention that she "decided" to have a crush on Ko. I wonder how it's gonna turn out when she confesses to him. |

well Ohana never thinks about Tohru so TohroxOhana was obviously impossible from the beginning and since no1 else is around and Ohana can't forget Ko its either Ko for her or nothing.as for Minchi she is the jealous type character and this kinda characters are doomed to be annoying most of the times and since this show is 26 ep not 11-12 she had more time to annoy ppl ...(well i am not that much annoyed and rather pity her but can understand why she is hated).the only good thing about all of this is that tohru didn't act like minchi towards his love. hoped tomoe could catch bouquet xD |

Again, an episode full of funny and dramatic surprises. So far, these are the highlights: Funny moments/ surprises that made me laughed: *Nako tried Takako’s wedding dress and… Woah. Now we know that Nako greatly surpasses Takako’s bust size. *I also laughed at Tomoe’s desperation in getting the bouquet of flowers. She even made a conspiracy with Takako which I find cute. Too bad she didn’t get the flowers though. In Tomoe’s head: Curse you mame-jin!! *I lol’d at this one the most. Jiromaru and Mame-jin had their little presentation (a parody of Enishi and Takako’s rabu-rabu encounter) for the wedding where they kissed/ fake-kissed. It wasn’t really shown if their lips touched or not, but there was definitely a huge smooch sound. OMG that was hilarious. Yeah, I know that guy’s a perv… but kissing a nearly 80-year old man cross-dressing as a babe?? Don’t wanna explain further so let’s just change the topic. Sweet Surprises: The wedding kinda made me reflect on Takako’s character. I admit that in the beginning of the series, I really thought that Takako was just some double-faced woman, only clinging to Enishi just to take hold of the Inn. But then, as I saw this ep, my whole idea of her changed. Seeing that she pursued her wedding with Enishi even though she knew that they aren’t the successors only proves that her thing for Enishi is real. Seeing their happy expressions in the ceremony makes me want to congratulate them in personal. I really wish for their happiness! I mean, I just love witnessing Enishi and Takako’s wedding. There are awful lot of cute moments of them together (such us the cake scene and the scene where they held hands). Can’t help but say “Awwwww” in those parts. Dramatic moments/ surprises that made me quite emotional (Contains pieces of the puzzle that may predict the ending): Minko X Tohru might have hope after all I’m not really a fan of the two of them but I’m going to write anyway. Okay, in this ep, Minchi still haven’t got over her jealousy that eventually leads to another brawl with Ohana causing her some nosebleed and even the wedding dress to be dirtied. (Seriously Minchi, sometimes I’m just fed up with your character.) As Minchi totally defended how great Tohru is and that his greatness cannot be compared to Ko, Tohru happened to hear all of this. Of course, this finally gave the guy an idea that Minchi likes him. Out of embarrassment, Minchi flees away to the Bonbori Shrine and there Tohru follows her. So there, Tohru confessed that he indeed likes Ohana but doesn’t know if he’s going to do anything about it. I don’t know at this point where this situation would lead them but since Tohru comforted her and patted her head you could say that it could be a sign that he cares for her? Though that could only be a “brother-thing” for now, this could be the start. Ohana X Tohru is confirmed 99.9% impossible so shippers start your mourning unless there would be a miracle which is that 0.01%. *Satsuki called Ohana regarding the matter of Enishi’s wedding. Their initial topic was supposed to be Enishi’s wedding invitation but then the issue jumped into an entirely different matter in the middle of their conversation, which is having a one-sided crush on someone. This made Ohana think about Minchi’s one-sided feeling for Tohru which caused her to also think of her real feelings for Ko. Okay, so basically it is revealed in this episode that Ohana indeed has feelings left for Ko so there won’t be a chance for Tohru. She decided that she has one-sided feelings for Ko and that she will try harder like Minchi. So does this mean that there is still hope for both Ko and Ohana? I guess there would be… until I saw the preview. An Impossible OhanaXTohru doesn’t mean a OhanaXKo Ending In the preview, it gave us an idea that Ohana and Ko would be meeting. That is not the actual problem though because this time, Ko might earn brownie points. BUT THEN… what he said to Ohana was like throwing all the hope that she has in the toilet. Ko: “Ohana, you’re nothing like a bland coffee.” Say what?? |

Ugh. The Ko x Ohana pairing is no good. I don't like Minchi x Tohru either (she's such a violent brat and is in NO WAY ready for a relationship). I want this season to end with no one paired officially... Ko's been so out of the picture and Ohana's 'sudden realization' seemed very forced. Then second season when Ohana becomes legal, Tohru can get Ohana... when she realizes he's the one that can get 'things done' if you know what I'm saying ;) bow chicka bow wow. ...seriously tho... Tohru's hot. |

Heh, aren't Minchi and Tohru pretty much the same kind of personality? The grumpy looking one that acts annoyed and falls into shouting commands and hard work mode when uncertain? I'm supprised many like him more, because other than looking cool on a bike and reluctantly helping out from time to time, he never emerged beyond being a side character. I don't know if they make a good couple, maybe they're too much alike. Same goes with any combination with Ohana. So with the exception of some yuri I guess nobody getting together is the best we can hope for. vansonbee said: Have to disagree, it wasn't sudden realization, there were moments in the 2 half of the series, that she reminiscing about Ko. Well that's just your interpretation. A suddenly confessing friend is something you have on your mind for some time. But Ohana never showed any sign of affection other than feeling guilty for not giving a proper response. For the most part of this show she actually had other things more important to her, like working your ass off for stupidest reasons. |

I hope the creator doesn't take the typical way with this series. I don't really hate Ko at all. I actually like him quite a lot. However Ko x Ohana and Tohru x Minko is way too typical for my taste. Since it is a slice of life, it is not necessary for it to end up the typical way, right? While I am pretty sure nothing will happen between Tohru and Ohana, I would like to think that the creator might do something about it. If something were to happen, I don't expect it to happen right away. It could happen a few years later. Maybe I'm reading way too much into it and the series will end up with Ko x Ohana and Tohru x Minko but I hope it will have a different ending. |

I think you should give up on the hope of Tohru x Ohana, truthfully I too would have preferred such an ending, but we now know Tohru wont do anything, he also knows Ohana likes Kou, and for some reason he doesn't seem the type to get in between peoples relationships, especially since half way through the series he tried to get Ohana to talk with Kou, if he was the type to get between people he could have easily convinced her not to. I think Kou is going out with the Library Girl, however if it will last or not I am unsure, the funniest would be it ends up that Ohana gets into another cat-fight with library girl! nah it won't happen though :S three fights in three episodes = unlikely if not a shounen anime :P I do think that we may be on for a 2-3 episode Kou x Ohana arc, as in their relationship, first episode is realising that library chick and Kou are going out, then an angsty episode and then a Kou coming to resolution over that he wants Ohana episode, whilst at the same time the people, maybe Satsuki tries to convince her mother not to close Kissuiso, so basically half of each episode deals with these two issues, then the last episode is Bonbori Festival with everything resolved. I'm probably wrong there but it is possible :) |

Okay, i like the fact that Tohru isn't actually in love with Ohana, and that Miko's got chances of getting him now. Not sure about Ohana x Tohru that might happen, i was assuming it would end with Ohana being single working at Kissuiso, but now that she "decided she has a crush on him" and Okami-san wants to close Kissuiso i dunno how it'll turn out. Also it was utterly stupid how Ohana decided she has a "one-sided crush" on Ko, he's so obviously into her and he even confessed at the start of the series, Ohana's doing drugs or what? Now i have no clue how it'll work out, but some drama with meganekko that has a crush on Ko is pretty much a given. Anyways, i wonder why i didn't think Okami-san would want to close down Kissuiso. After all it was close to impossible that Satsuki would even come there again. |

I think what a lot of people don't realize is that TohruxOhana is typically the 'default' for these type of shows -- girl has childhood friend who's always around when a 'new and exciting' male suddenly shows up -- girl falls for new guy while steady childhood friend has to bow out. The possibility of Ohana ending up with Kou is actually quite refressing to me. I'm still shaking my head of all the people (on the forums) in love with Tohru. The ONLY good thing people can say about him is "He's hot." Wow, I guess most people really do only care about looks and less about personality. If you look at their actions, Kou is actually more mature than Tohru. Chew on that for a while, haters. |

I really like the whole wedding ceremony. Seeing them all doing preparations and the ceremony itself was really nice and funny. I laughed my ass off at the scene with Denroku. Of course this was all after the whole ordeal with Minko and Ohana. I always thought Minko was being childish my forcing Ohana to go out with Tohru, even though Ohana never said he liked him. At the same time Minko didn't have the guts to properly tell Tohru. I'm happy about how it turned out though. Finally we got some facts about who likes who. As for the one-sided crush. I think Ohana was just repeating her mother's words. She thinks it's a one-sided crush because she thinks Kouichi got over her because of the librarian girl. I can't wait for next week to see what Ohana's going to do! |

Okay, just because I commented on his attractiveness doesn't mean that's his ONLY good quality. I just thought his GOOD qualities spoke for themselves and I was half=jokingly focusing on his appearance. He has PLENTY of good qualities ; he's a successful chef, he's self sufficient, he comes through as a friend (went and got Ohana from Tokyo when she was protesting her mom... pulled over to the beach when Minichi seemed stressed... came to the school festival to support both Minchi & Ohana... etc) He also is GREAT in a 'pinch' and came back from a funeral to help out at the Inn and took over for the wedding menu. Just because I say 'he's hot,' there's a lot MORE going on to him. THANK GOD YOU'RE HERE THOUGH... because you obviously know ALL about me and that I only care about looks... based on what I write in MAL forums. Whew. Now I can sleep better knowing what 'issues' I need to work out. I find both Tohru and Ko pretty mature, but I find Ko a somewhat boring person whom I think would make a poor match with the quirky, animated Ohana. That's MY opinion and I feel Tohru's character has been flushed out more which gives him an advantage. To quote you, feel free to 'chew on that'... whatever good that does. :) |

He has already been given a role to be the mature, sweet, good looking boy to show us Ohana flaws and immaturity at the beginning. Ko/Ohana are very compatible, if you re watch episode 1. Tohru character indeed has more appearances than Ko, but Tohru + Minko love situation was made to reflect Ohana own situation and allowing her gain a new perspective. To quote you, feel free to 'chew on that'... whatever good that does. :) |

So the dish served at Ohana's table is basically for everybody (Minko just can't eat all of that in the first place...). It just happens that Minko is sitting closest to that dish. How does the preview point towards Ko rejecting Ohana? "You're nothing like a bland coffee" would mean "You're not boring", right? And from the looks of it, Ko and Ohana end up in a cafe in Tokyo, which would imply they're still on good terms. Plus I doubt Ko would find another girlfriend without at least telling Ohana first. As for my thoughts on the episode, I don't really care what happens to Minchi or Tohru - both have kinda aggravated me with their stubborn ways, and even after Tohru discovered Minchi liked him there seems to have been little, if any, development between the two. Really hoping for OhanaxKo to make up for the failed relationship development I've seen so far, especially since they just left Ko and the librarian girl out of the picture half the season. There'd better be a good resolution. |

vansonbee said: Let just say Ko makes a adorable poster child for typical sweet child friend. I really wish I didn't have to go into detail but this lack of awareness concerning the differentiation of personal pronouns indication has motivated me into providing a vindication with respect to the recent events. I will start this dicusssion by arguing that Ko is, contrary to popular beliefs, not as a nice person as he was thought and formatted to be, let alone his puppy, less desirable than Tofu...I mean, Tohru... 's noble profile. I will present evidence that neither Ko nor its devotees have dealt squarely or clearly with the fact that it is cowardice on Ko's part to convince the worst classes of uninformed dissemblers there are that there is absolutely nothing they can do besides from buying his less-than-convincing and amateurish so-called "idealistic personification" that, since the abyss of time, has been a set of nonsensical moralistic beliefs imposed by our naive homo sapiens to justify human's might over the rest of the biological kingdoms. Unfortunately, I have to put aside such an intriguing debate aside in order to solely focus on the current issue at hand. As previously stated, Ko talks the talk, but does it walk the walk? After days of agonized pondering and reflection, I finally came to the conclusion that a central fault line runs through each of Ko's actions. Specifically, Ko's thesis is that Ohana is the havoc of his life puts him into a damsel in distress position, thus earning bonus exp pity pts from spectators but is it really her fault that his life became so miserable? Does he have the right to lie to his own subjects or to other interpersonal relations? That's utterly vulgar, you say? Good; that means you're finally catching on. The next step is to observe that far too many people tolerate Ko's sophistries as long as they're presented in small, seemingly harmless doses. What these people fail to realize, however, is that the point at which you discover that Ko's blatant indifference towards the feelings of others is due to intense misunderstanding, suspicion, and fear is not only a moment of disenchantment. It is a moment of resolve, a determination that the purpose of this vindication is far greater than to prove to you how avaricious and poxy Ko has become. When I first heard about Ko's rantings, I dismissed them as merely illogical since he's such a sweetheart. But when I later learned that it wants me to self-censor my critique of it, I realized that Ko is too blinkered to notice Ohana's feelings, probably due to his monstruous effort in victimizing himself. Some of the facts I'm about to present may seem shocking. This they certainly are. However, it's vital to show that all characters have serious personal problems, including Ko. In fact, the way Ko keeps his disciples loyal to him is by encouraging and exacerbating these problems rather than by overcoming them. And when he was called out on his wrongdoings, he resorted on stringing Ohana's unstable mental state to further tantalizing her by remaining imperturbable upon being questioned about his stand on the romantic scale, which is imposed by the feather weight Ohana versus the heavyweight big p*****. How did Ko get so amoral? I have my theories, but they're only speculation. At any rate, it is driving me nuts. I can't take it anymore! Believe it or not, I really want to believe that Ko is a decent, honest individual. Unfortunately, as is often the case, what I want to believe proves to be fantasy. The truth is that Ko's hariolations are not our only concern. To state the matter in a few words, I believe I have found my calling. My calling is to falsify the illusional shards that Ko has inflicted on his believers that adhere as strongly as a covalent bond into their epithelial tissues His prestidigitation was amusing and harmless at first but gradually it becomes so virulent that it's now a pandemic disease that can only be cured by the unfolding of the remaning episodes and hopefully by the end of this crusade, the enchantened people will snap out of their curse and finally realize why this was such as a pressing matter... |

This episode was amazing. Really, really amazing. Kinda saddens me that Ohana and Tohru might not happen anymore, but Ko did say in the preview "Ohana, you're like bland coffee" so who knows. The whole relationship aspect of the show is complicated. Ko like(s/d) Ohana, Ohana at least likes Ko, Minko likes Tohru, and Tohru likes Ohana. The only thing that would make it more complicated was if Ko liked Minko instead (oh god, that would be an amazing couple). edit: I love you, @BitchMaster, for that last post. |

This ep really made me hate Minchi. The way she acted was so selfish and immature it was hard to watch lol. Glad to see the wedding go nicely though. |

I still think Takako is faking it. MadDelight said: I hope Ohana ends up rejected. This was just hilarious to read. Interesting ending! My guess is the name is being killed. Hand over the building, let it go in a new direction? Really, how could she want to lay everyone off? o_o marcjasonfriedm said: In reply to who will inherit the INN.......after the closing credits in this episode the Madam indicated that she is "sealing" - I assume closing it......am i correct? That's what I see it as. However, there may be some hidden meaning particularly because of the specific word choice. Sealing instead of closing. We'll see! |

Not only is "Love" written in big letters on the sashimi plate in front of Minko, but if you'll remember when she was talking about a one-sided love to Tohru he called her "stupid". I think that's a pretty firm indication that he actually does care about her. His problem is that he sees himself as a mentor towards her, and that complicates relationships. And I'm going to ship Beanman x Madame Manager. After all, he caught the bouquet.... |
Please don't feed the trolls! In my next life I want to collide at the corner with the cute transfer student carrying a piece of toast in her mouth...rodac |

The wedding was well done (well, except for that ear-bleed inducing "singing"), but more importantly things are looking interesting. There are actually two things I would like to see in the final episodes. First would be that Ko entered a relationship with the girl who had a crush on him, and he has to reject Ohana. Second: Ohana's determination to preserve Kissuiso yields some kind of result. Either starts a new one, or somehow manages to convinces the Landlady to entrust it to her. What I would prefer not to see is Ko and Ohana ending up together, and Ohana returning to the city. Minchii got friendzoned and as much as I like her, this was the realistic solution to her crush. One has to move on. 5/5. |

I'm surprised that I'm one of the only ones that actually wants Tohru and Minko to end up together. It would be such a middlefinger if Ohana ended up with Tohru even though she just admitted to have a crush on Ko. They will probably just leave out the the Tohru x Minko romance, because of the lack of episodes and end that part of the story with Minko saying that she will keep on trying etc. What was up with that scene with Tohru and Minko though, I mean he basically says that hes not interested in her, but that he still watches over her. That's way to vague tbh. Maybe I'll start reading the manga, since it might be longer than the anime. |

Wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut?! Sealing the doors of Kissuiso(sp?), eh? Can't say I'm too surprised since they are having a hard time paying the bills. I wonder how everyone's going to react. Looking forward to the next episode. |

This show always puts a big smile on my face and I really enjoyed this episode. A couple of points even seemed to be moving the plot forward! And I was happy to have another nano.RIPE song as the insert song/ED. Anyone know the name of it? |

Oho~ So the vocalist of nano.RIPE is now a seiyuu too? :D; I prefer her as a vocalist though. o_o; Her seiyuu voice is not exactly music to the ears. |
