I enjoy the dialogue/dynamic between Hal and Flam....

They are like Huey and Dalians' doppelgangers (Very different, but similar.)
Can't wait for the 4 to meet...

"cartridge load" made me LOL. old skool.

Disward is fucked if he ever fights with Hal; that cartridge load will destroy him.
Though Dalian does have the power of Yes...

... I miss Dalian already.

It was a good episode but I am concerned at WTF for the ecchi in the spoiler (NSFW)
what was the point of that in this series? That was kind of useless because it did zero effect on me. Probably for BDs to uncensored.

Oh well, at least the action and occult is nice in this series.

BTW I did some Image Stitches in the spoiler
the one of Flam is nice

Goodness me, I absolutely ADORE Flam. <3
These two seem more like permanent or recurring characters to me. Which makes me happy.

Did you guys notice that this is actually episode 7 ? And that the preview at the end was for episode 8 ? What is up with that, anyone know?
EDIT: Never mind, I just noticed that Ep.3 is actually made up of ep.3 AND ep.4 for some reason, so it makes sense.

No Dalian and no Lord Disward. :(
Initially, I thought Hal and Flam were looking for Dalian and her partner. Turns out there's more bibloprincesses than I thought.

Hal is pretty awesome. The biblioprincess Flam is just WTF.
The lack of Disward and Dalian was kinda disappointing...

There were more bibloprincesses in this series?

I still prefer Hugh x Dalian.

Is this going to continue as it now or it will be back from it was in the beginning?

LoL when I hear cartridge load it's remind me of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha xD

So a pair from the opening made their appearance, that just leaves the one with the eye keyhole with her partner. My guess is those are the evil ones.

It was nice to have a new key-keeper and biblioprincess included especially since Hal seems cool although I prefer Hugh. However I certainly do love the humorous chemistry between Hal and Flam especially when Flam teases Hal about going to the brothel haha.

I hope they collide with Dalian and Hugh soon and dive deeper with the other duo that handed Mabel a phantom book.

ALRIGHT! This was an awesome episode! Just what it needed to make it even more interesting than it already was. Hal is officially my fav. character. I love his swoopy hair and im glad he isnt as sadistic as Gekkou from Itsuka Tenma no Kuro-Usagi. However, his b. princess... I wouldnt mind if she died in the near future. It was partly the voice actor (she was too good at making her sound shrewd) but her personality is so awful/undesirable. She is such a B*TCH. Im sure im not the only one who is hatin on her. lols for Hals' response to missies' constant idiotic remarks: "Keep your mouth shut, you piece of junk." That's about all you can say after having to put up with her every day.
So, YES! She should keep her mouth shut.
It may turn out to be sad if he ends up being consumed by the fires of that staff, in the end... :(. I hope the next princess we meet doesn't have an ugly personality as well. So far, wev'e seen a bratty tsundere child who knows everything accept how to be the least bit considerate of others ( i guess that why shes so lovable though...) and now, a slutty; rude and annoying skank in a straight jacket... The next b.p. had better be one of those moe shy girls who messes up at everything.
Lastly, I think the next episode will definately be back to Dalian and Hughs. I think that we might meet some other new pairs in the future too, and/or these two will eventually meet and help each other fight some crazy powerful phantom book. Or it could be like in To aru majutsu no index where Toma and Accelerator never meet face to face when theyre both on the "good" side. Theres lots more to look forward to now, either way.

Sorry i didnt use "her" name.. I just think its not worth it to look it up. Lemme see, Flim or Flam. Yeah thats it. Flam. fl4m. flam? Hm, sounds like Jellow to me... It cerntaily fits the character.

Let's just get this out of the way now:

I, personally, prefer this new dynamic duo here, Hal and Flamberge. "Flamberge"--that's such an awesome name. So, is "catridge load;" that was awesome. All around, these two are awesome. I love them~ ♥

Wow I love those two new characters. So Tsundere. I hope we get to see more of them.

It's interesting how they made it seem like Dalian and Huey were the bad guys...or was that their prior self? Are Huey and Dalian reincarnated? For some reason, I feel it's something like that.

Hal's staff was crazy. Screw reading a phantom book! Use it to fuel a weapon!

Looking forward to next episode.

This episode was cool, as usual, but the whole time I thought I was watching another show. I miss Dalian and Huey, and it seems a little late (especially for a short series) to introduce two new main characters that took up the entire episode. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it. Creepy town.

Thanks, person who gave me this on another site a long time ago, lol.

Wrong there were. Phantom books can just be books of magic that are hard to acquire. That's all.

Seems to be shortly after World War 1. Since it was stated that the war was over and the main guy was flying a plane back in war. But planes at that time, weren't really good and there were no long range bombers either.

Yeah, one could call artistic freedom here. But whatever.

but dalian's *yes* is so full of awesomeness D: actually it just sounds unique hahaha
I like hal's and flam's character designs (especially the queer awesome-looking staff)
so from the chest to the abdomen, honestly when flam's abdomen opened like that it was quite freaky >_>;
the way the staff work is quite interesting, i take it the book is lost forever since its used for fuel but is it really worth it to burn a phantom book ._.;
oh and the third pair of umm guy-library girl made an appearance :D somehow i had a different thought of how the eye-patch girl was gonna talk/sound like but oh well

hmm i get the feeling all Hal is after is a good ole book burning of phantom books with his lil 'my mission is to dispose of phantom books and all who are into contact with them.' But nevertheless, Hal is awesome as hell though not as badass Huey....come on how often is it you see a protagonist wield both a revolver and rifle at the same time? Flam...hmm not much to say really though personally I do like her lil teasing attitude twoards Hal find it quiet funny. But other then that not feeling much from her though I did feel she has a bit of a kind side to her regarding the kid scene.

So, from what I can deduce by just watching the anime, I feel like Dalian is "the" biblioprincess, and that the other two (and perhaps others), while not actually at her level, can still access some sort of library/libraries of forbidden knowledge. Frankly, calling them all biblioprincesses makes the term seem sort of like a name for a species instead of a title of some sort.

I love Flam! But Hal's an asshole sometimes. I like the ability of that staff. I wonder if it can do other stuff than just being a flamethrower. And I'm also interested in that eyepatch loli too.

I liked the deep relationship between Hal and Flam, LOL.

In all seriousness, I wonder if this new duo are protagonists or antagonists. It'd be hard for them to be protagonists because it seems like they burn Phantom Books as fuel. Also, the part where Flam says "Nay, I am the world." sounds so..... manly?

Could be looking for Huey's grandfather and Dalian. Anyways they were hunting for phantom books so if their paths ever cross it'll turn into a fight.

These two are much better than Huey and Dalian. I do especially like Flam. The fact that she's chained, Hal treats her like shit, and it looks like she's in pain when she's "unlocked" bother me.

So, this is where the actual plot might start?
I mean, surely Hal and Flam aren't just some random strangers that popped in during one episode, right? They'll play a larger role in this, right?
And on that note, Hal's got some pretty cool stuff.
