Even though she comes across as an attention whore to me, I can't deny that she has a good voice and has starred in a lot of shows I liked. I wonder if it's something her management is to blame for or that it might be because of something she did that pissed them off. Either that, or she didn't read the fine print on her contract. |

I really couldn't care less about what she does with her personal life, and I'm not going to let that affect how I view her as a voice actor and singer. I think she's really good at both. |

Do any of you actually know her personally? No? Yeah.. figures. She is a voice actress, judge her for that, not her personal life cause its none of any ones business, whether she posts junk on twitter or not. She does a fine job as a voice actress. No one here actually -knows- her that's pretty obvious. You all just know her because of her VA role, or at least began to hear about her. Don't be so ignorant. |

She is a great Seiyu. I don't care about drama or whatever, she should just get a chance to work. |

How much further can she fall? Like, the only things that can happen to her now that would be drama inducing would be her having a shotgun wedding or coming out that she's addicted to meth. I also never understood the fascination with her. She has a terrible voice and can't sing. Just because she got a few big roles doesn't mean she's great..she just knows how to "work" for positions. |

I like Hirano Aya as a seiyu. She did great as Haruhi and Lucy from Fairy Tail. Hopefully she comes back from this. |

I find that petty. Just let her whore herself out if that's what she wants to do. Those who eat her shit will continue to do so, and us normal folks can just enjoy her performances (well, i don't, really, for the most part, but that's another matter). |

I never heard of this kind of issue. O.O It's pretty weird for me. But it's also weird that I haven't been paying attention to her voice (because some of her most popular roles in anime's were one's I saw in dubbed ages ago) plus, I'm, honestly, not too crazy for her. I don't dislike her, just so you know. |

Twitters are made to share thoughts. If you're following, then don't complain. I don't even know who this VA is, I'm too green in anime to even recognize voices (I think only two, so far), let alone know their names. But it does not matter. Is she a bad VA? Then give her an hiatus to work on it. Is she good? Then drop the ad nominems and let her take care of her own business. Leon: I hate Britney as well, but because she's an utterly awful performer, not because of the stupid stuff she does outside the studio. It doesn't concern me at all. Just because this VA is informing people (and, I suppose she has fans too) of what's happening, it doesn't mean she's a whore. I think... |

I think it pretty much comes down to one thing, money. It's more than likely due to that rant last year where she basically told anime otaku F U if they didn't like her imperfect idol image. Due to that, producers for new anime shows don't want anything to do with her. Those same otaku that she's fed up with are the same ones that will go out spend money on products related to the shows. Do you think they'll buy something related to a character she's a VA for after that rant? No way. So producers are essentially blacklisting her for now due to it. Because to them, it would hurt the fanbase & sales of the show if they add her to a show. That's probably why she's only doing roles for shows she's done in the past right now. |
