I really love Texhnolyze, It may be the only anime besides maybe Nana that I regret adding to my top 10 favorites. It is the epitome of Nihilism of all the anime I've seen and after asking MAL for an anime more depressing than Texhnolyze, a user with 5000+ completed anime replied saying "your search is futile" followed by recommending me several depressing anime they had seen.
- It was produced by Madhouse which has several dark/edgy series under their belt
- The Main Character is cold and badass but I love the relationships he had with some of the other characters
- I really like how this series felt complete by the end many other series I like had rather open endings but Texhnolyze hit different for me when I had finished it.
