this movie... what can I say... well I could say a lot like I normally do when I watch a movie or I could keep it short... I just don't know but I'll try to keep it brief but no promises here I go. Starting off this movie for what it was it wasn't bad considering this is from a game with very little story so trying to make a story from nothing I'll give it points. now the animation it all looked like MMD models but with effort, poor effort but effort nonetheless. I don't really understand why they chose to go cg when I think it could have looked better in 2d, granted the movie would have still sucked but it would have been a little better on the eyes if it was 2d. now I liked the setting, the build up but it was the way most of it was executed that really makes me ask/question "why would you even bother making this"? Moving on to the fun parts the beginning or opening sequence looked way to much like yami shibai maybe it's just me but it certainly looked that way to me. the characters I can honestly say I didn't like any of them in fact I was looking forward to seeing how they were going to die. not going to lie I laughed when the teacher started dancing as she was locking up the oni it was an out of place moment yet I liked it simply because it was so random. now as for the conclusion it felt weak really weak so the whole thing was really a message about humans destroying the environment so in order to stop this a certain plant developed sexual relationships with humans using them like bees to spread there pollen. the ending just felt so last minute and all it did was just cause more confusion like why do the males turn to oni's? what happens to the females after having sex with a male who is carrying the pollen? do they become flowers or oni's as well? not going to lie it had it's moments, wish it was a little longer but for an hour long movie this wasn't bad it wasn't good either but I can at least give it a 6/10. is this better than the series barely but the tv series was mostly going for comedy this at least tried to make it scary but it was still better than the live action movie. |

I was under the impression that this movie would be better than the comedic short, but I see now how foolish that was. Deen clearly gave zero shits about this seeing how absolutely horrible everything was, particularly the CG. How is that level of CG acceptable? I mean, come on. The plant having sex with people to have them spread their pollen to other mates like bees was utterly retarded. It was kinda funny, but still. |

I feel insulted at how stupid this movie was. At least with the animation, it was dark humor and wasn't taken seriously. This, however, had a really stupid cast of characters and some of the choppiest CG I've seen in anime. DEEN has been saving anime lately with Rakugo Shingu and Konosuba and around the same time, they release this monstrosity. Pyro said: Deen clearly gave zero shits about this seeing how absolutely horrible everything was. I usually have no problem with CG, but this is just utterly ugly. You'd think that CG would help with fluid animation, but this movie is even more stiff than most 2D anime out there. Not to mention that every frame looks like they're in pre-render state. And wtf? You're telling me the guy seriously had sex with every single girl in his school? I guess if this didn't happen, he'd have died of STD anyway. |

That was indeed weird... well let's be honest the animation was indeed really really bad. About the story now, well it was not that bad but could have done better and yep the plant sex thing was really creepy and weird. Now it's the 0 meaning that a sequel is possible. Urgh... just thinking about the idea makes me a bit shiver but who know they might manage something better. Also the ending was so oblivious, while I saw the betrayal from the teacher coming too didn't thought she was a plant or something herself. |

First, dont´t like the quality/style of the animation, very poor for a film...if was a series is acceptable, but a film, it should have been better!!! The plot, begin well, with a typical start, with mistery ....but and the half hour, when dead 2 characters, bloody death and nice, all change for bad :( ... the plot is very previsible and quickly!!! The end? predicible, and the last scene in the balcony it not was neccesary, we can imagine the rest of the plot without words... disspointing to the film....4/10. |

I really enjoyed the tv shorts and thought they were kind of a prelude to a good horror movie.....but this just hurts. I don't know who approved of this animation as it makes the movie look like a bad joke most of the time and it's the worst I've seen in anime until now. The story was....strange, I can't really say if it was good or bad, just strange. The only thing I actually enjoyed was the ending sung by Akiko Shikata, because I'm a fan of her music. But thats sad being the only good thing to say about this movie. Overall I'm quite disappointed. :( |

The first half is kinda boring and the second half is okay. The cgi is kinda bad, it's like really stuttery a lot of the time. The only things I kinda liked were some of the gore splatter and the twist is not bad. |

I'm glad I was multi-tasking with this crap playing in the background. It was so boring I thought of dropping it. Maybe I should have, though I at least got to reaffirm my love for proper, well-animated series, 2d or, with a few recent ones, even 3d. The 3d was so.... so.... so bad in this. I hope the poor animators get real training soon so they can enjoy working on acceptable material. It's like they thought they didn't want to make it exactly like the game (which takes place in some sort of manor if I recall?) so what do they do? Put it in the most uninspired, typical setting you can imagine. *slow clap* Real clever. |

I don't think the series deserves anything lower than a 3. It was fine. It was a cheap but nice little CGI movie and I watched it contently. The animation isn't an issue at all, for me. I'm sure some small studio given the order of making an original film based around the videogame, and I think their efforts were fruitful. My biggest complaint is that the characters are constantly spelling everything out for the audience. The basement kid, and the teacher, and especially the nurse, at the end, just talk and talk and talk and inform everyone on everything. The movie doesn't show the plot but has the characters reveal it all through long monologues. That was annoying. Any who, the real reason I'm hear is because I have a thing for obscure animes. It's cool to be in a tiny demopgraphic of 5,000-ish MAL users (out of millions) to have associated with this. I wouldn't consider my time wasted. Too bad the club president and the protagonistic dude couldn't make it to Tokyo together. Too bad all of them died, actually. The five primary club members were all likable, even if their characters didn't have any depth. Fortunately, our dear pal iPad-kid survived by wedging himself in a gap. The post-credits scene implies that the nurse is satisfied as all the students of the club have died, but who knows? Maybe the scene is open for interpretation and he's alive? Maybe? |

I have to wonder what that tunnel behind bars in the basement was for, though. We got a first-person view from Aooni who was clearly inside of the dark tunnel as the two student club members conversed. Where does the tunnel lead, though? My guess is that it's how Aooni made it into the school. The school must be connected to the Bellflower Mountain someone through an underground tunnel. They should've elaborated on that more. |

I also have to wonder why the front entrance to the school was so boarded up like that. It couldn't have been the nurse because she was always with the club members. The male teacher made it into the school and said he took down the barriers to get in. So how were the front entrance barriers replaced? Who did it? Not the basement kid. Not Aooni. Not the male teacher, club members, or nurse, as I stated. Huh. |

One of the worst movies I've seen in recent times, and I've seen a lot of bad movies recently. Oh well, it was so ridiculous that it at least was somewhat enjoyable. |

Meh, it was bad, but not that bad other than the awful CGI, the pacing was perfectly fine, it wasn't "akward" or boring at all, I guess fans of the original game got upset that the movie wasn't much different than the comedy TV short quality wise, but overall it gets a 4/10 from me. Again, could have been fine if the CGI weren't so bad. |

Wow, I'm pretty impressed. Tachibana (or whatever his name is) is such an alpha that she's still sleeping with all the girls in the whole school even though his dick's rotting off. He's a real Chad if ever I've seen one. Truly wonderful, a masterpiece of animation and a shining pinnacle of comedy. 10/10 would watch again. |
