Unexpected sign-in after following an opt-out link

Hello!

I've encountered a peculiar bug today:

I've received a promotional email with the subject of "Last chance to register for "Fantasy Anime League". The message's ID is

02010000nqasgklm-t220l790-t3em-6uul-m6rd-64d5njt6sc80-000000@us-west-2.amazonses.com
```
as shown by the Gmail client.

Then I've clicked an opt-out link from the bottom of the message:

After confirming the unsubscription, I was greeted with this page:
Only after a couple of minutes navigating the site, I've noticed that I'm logged in with another account:
You can see that unlike the "real" account, this one lacks almost all of the dropdown entries:
The creation date for this account is today which suggests it was created on the fly:

Additional data:

I realize there is a high chance that it is a non-exploitable minor bug but this is still concerning a bit, regarding that it affects authentication.
