| I gave it an 8 considering the whole thing. The finale was kind of meh and seemed rushed. The rabbit fight felt totally underwhelming at best, with everyone suddenly powering up and the day is completely saved. The art style seemed quite inconsistent and obvious compared to other episodes. Really wish if this COVID crap had never happened. For me, the best parts were in the middle which focused on Emilia's trials. I have rewatched those a couple of times and I continue to get chills at the impressive VA performances of Guese, Fortuna, Pandora and little Emilia during the whole encounter taking place at the Seal in the First Trial. Good sense of SFX timing in those episodes amplified the scenes even further (highly recommend watching it with a subwoofer, the bass drops are gorgeous). This was followed by Episodes 10 and 11. All filled with really powerful scenes and audio presentation. I did laugh at the baby-making scene, lmao. It sounded even more cute and ridiculous in the anime. Puck is a real goof and so is Emilia. I'm still a little miffed at no mention of Ω. But seeing how everything is crammed into 30 mins...it is probably asking for too much. |
