| And so, the real truth about SMILE has now just been fully revealed, it indeed is a horrible invention. Aside from the side effects, SMILE fruits only guarantee a success rate of ONLY 10%!!! And to make it worse, the gifters who do got the abilities, usually have a barely useful ability with major disadvantage, an example being that crab gifter, he has huge claws, but he can't walk straight. Now the real shitty thing is its side effects. A terrifying disease that'll compel those that ate the 'defective' versions (which makes up 90% of the SMILE) to eternally laugh for the rest of their damn life. I swear I was tearing up when I heard the story about SMILE, reading about it in the manga is one thing, but to watch and listen as the people cries and laugh in the background, that's whole another experience. Still, despite the depressingly sad story, the tears rapidly dry out when Orochi's action is spoken. How he gave the fruits that failed to the people of Ebisu town, out of all the heinous people, even Kaido himself commented on how sick Orochi's jokes are. The way he ruins people's lives and forbidding them to even grieve about it only made be glare at the screen in fury. On a lighter, more awesome note, Zoro and Sanji made an epic entrance! Two of the monster trio is here to flex on these scum who they should fear. |

| So, the failed Smile fruits are like Joker Venom, but it doesn't kill you. Rather, it makes you incapable of expressing any emotion other than laughter for the rest of your life. Okay, that's horrific. I actually don't know what to say. Just...wow. |

| Bro the truth about smile and how the ebisu townsfolk got it is horrible, sure hope they can find some way to revert this effect. Orochi's an absolute sht ass dude,,,, SANJI AND ZORO'S ENTRANCE WAS EPIC THO want to see orochi beaten up next ep or smth lol |

| First half made me cry second half gave me chills with the overtaken ost |
| caesars soundtrack started playing for the first time in a while Found panda man this episode ! This got me thinking, do the smile fruits at least taste good in comparison to devil fruits that tastes horrible? Something sparked out of Hiyoris face after she turned around as she talks to Zoro about the smile fruits I feel just as angry as Zoro does AHH SANJI, ZORO , and HAHA that drawing that they did for Sangoro xD, the joke never ends ! But seeing each other for the first time in a while! |

| As horrifying as the big revelation was, the setup to this was an absolute master stroke. There are other stories where there's a theme about laughing off the hard times, so it was easy to just accept Ebisu as a town of impoverished eccentrics who were doing their best to grin & bear it. Even so, something about it never felt right - I just could never accept it and laugh along with them. There were moments where the laughing felt forced (and now quite literally), and I found myself often conflicted to see that emotional disconnect. And on another note, it also explains why I found the Pleasures to be absolutely creepy. As much as Zoro & Sanji squabble with each other, they were in perfect sync on saving Toko. Forget the festival - just take that creep Orochi out right here, right now! |

| My God, this episode was really dark. I knew that there must some kind of backstory behind the Smile fruits but damn I did not expect this kind of development. |
| Wow it's crazy how we learning more about SMILE like hundreds of episodes later since the first time it was introduced to us. Fck Orochi!! Wait a minute, Sanji and Zoro reunited again since Dressrosa? Am i remember it correctly? That's crazy. WTF How many years was that if you watching One Piece weekly?? |
