| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Volume 11 Chapter 3 Everyone has lunch together. Issei needs to train more to better control his true queen abilities. We learn more about the Beginning Longinus. Everyone seems more focused on training their sacred gears since the match against Bael, even Asia is wanting to achieve balance breaker for Twilight Healing. Azazel suggests finding a way to protect herself on the battlefield. The group are attacked and see the same mist they saw in Kyoto, it was Cao Cao. He confronts them, and Le Fay figures out it was them who were targeting Ophis. Cao Cao uses his spear and super fast speed to attack Ophis and actually stabs her in the stomach, though she can't be killed. Kuroka and Le Fay summon Vali via magic circle switching spots with Fenrir. Georg summons a creature, who is revealed to be the one who turned into the snake, Samael, from the story of Adam and Eve - a creature full of God's poison and evil intent. Cao Cao says he negotiated with Hades to retrieve him. Samael attacks Ophis and swallows her, Kiba tries cutting the black tentacle but his sword was swallowed up and destroyed. Everyone else tried attacking but to no avail. Cao Cao uses the Longinus and destroys Xenovia's Ex-Durandal in an instant, he also critically injures Xenovia as he used the spear to pierce her body. He sends out an orb that seals away women's powers, so Rias and Akeno can use their abilities. Issei gets hit as he tried protecting Asia, he is also critically injured. Azazel and Vali attacked together, but Cao Cao dodges it easily and reveals he has Medusa's eye implanted in him, so he turns Azazel's legs into stone. Azazel is then stabbed by the spear and is critically injured. Vali fired a shot but it was redirected at Koneko, Kuroka acted as a shield to protect her. Vali is then taken down by Samael after trying to swallow him but failed. Kiba tries attacking him but fails to land in a hit. Cao Cao's plan is to create a new Ophis that he can control. He plans on fighting Issei and Vali at full power when he fine tunes the spear. He disappears and now both groups have to deal with a bunch of grim reapers that are after Ophis. We get mentions of Dulio, Michael's Joker card. Ophis saved Asia and Irina since they played cards and gave her tea. She sent her powers/snakes to another dimension, she's still twice as strong as Vali and Issei put together. Le Fay gives Xenovia the last holy sword just before they leave to get reinforcement. Is Ophis someone who the group will continue to interact with? In summary, everyone got thrashed by Cao Cao. |
